I'm the owner of a moving company specializing in condominium and small office moves.

For what projects/services did your company hire MORAD Creative Agency, and what were your goals?

I hired Morad Creative for my web development, branding and logo design. I needed an identity for my business and Morad steped up.

How did you select MORAD Creative Agency and what were the deciding factors?

I heard about Morad through friends that had used their service and were pleased with the results.

I wanted the business to have its own unique identity and to reflect me personally. Sitting down with Nabil, I was able to present my ideas and see them develop over time into exactly what i needed. The scope of work entaled setting up my website, branding, business cards and signs. It's an ongoing process and as i grow i'll be working with Morad to help me market and grow my brand.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Once the site was launched I had a dramatic increase in phone calls and it was awesome to finally see the reviews come in from our customers that we had serviced in the past months.

I sat down with Nabil to go over my ideas and vision for what I wanted the site to look like. When I received the mockups of the site, logo, and cards we were in constant communication tweaking little things until it was perfect.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our goals were the same. They were just as excited as I was to turn my ideas into reality. Through every turn, Morad's team was there to assist in every aspect, down to the last detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If any issues arose, Nabil was a phone call or email away to answer all my questions.

I’m the operations director for Canadian Bio-Systems Inc, a manufacturer of natural alternatives for growth-promoting products used in commercial livestock.

What challenge were you trying to address with MORAD Creative Agency?

We originally hired them to update our existing web presence so it would be responsive and easy to manage. We wanted to pivot how we were communicating our web presence to focusing more on our content and messaging versus our products.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a new website for us from scratch, using their own in-house CMS to replace our former WordPress site. Their team handled all of the design and development. We’re doing more web presence aspects of the work in-house now, but if we need anything larger scale, they support us. 

What is the team composition?

A project coordinator and the developers support our project. 

How did you come to work with MORAD Creative Agency?

I had gone to school with someone from their team, and I reached out to them for a quote when I was at a previous role. When I came to my current job and managing the website presence became too much, I reached out to them again and we’ve been working together ever since. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have a $35,000 budget for their services per year, so we’ve spent between $150,000– $300,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began roughly around June 2012 and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our website won an award, so MORAD Creative Agency’s design and development contributed to that success. The award made a special note for the design skills, so partially thanks to them we achieved that recognition. 

How did MORAD Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They use Monday to communicate and it works well as a job board for us. Their turnaround time is good, so the delays are usually on our end for approval. We never have to wait too much for them and they deliver everything within the timelines they promise. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about them is that they come in as a high-quality, low-cost provider for what we need. Their quote comes in significantly less than other shops equivalent to them. They’re also just able to turn their work around very quickly. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s not necessarily a negative, but it seems they have a bit of project manager turnover in their organization. However, I always know who to go to for control. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Really put faith into their design team if you want a clean, professional brand or website. They’ll excel and give you the most value for your dollar.

We hired Morad to help with web design a new site, logo design and create and identity for the company.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were to create an identity for the company and have a web site that we could update on our own.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Morad from a referral.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Web site design and creation. Morad built a site from start to finish. From editing pictures to helping to add content. Brand identity: Morad created the logo, company colours, business cards, lawn signs and stickers.

What was the team composition?

The team mostly consisted of 3-5 people.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The website and brand identity have created a professional look for our business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team was always ready to collaborate with all aspects of the project and were willing to listen to our input. All work was done on schedule.

I found impressing how closely they work with us and how the whole project came together so quickly.

I can't think of anything that could be improved.

Easy, functional and eye catching website

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Worked on previous projects such as thinkcalgaryhomes and pocketlistingscalgary. Also previous knowledge of work with Estate Mortgage group, Digicopy and Redtree Custom homes.

Describe the project in detail.

Logo Design, web development and web design. Word cloud and feature listings section. Make it easy for staff and myself to alter and change parts of the website on our own and live in real time. Met with the team to understand our ideas and how we wanted the feel to be. They designed a few mock ups and one looked perfect for us. Met again to discuss functionality. Throughout the process, it was very detailed and delivered promptly.

What was the team composition?

2 Managers gathering requirements. Design builder and back end developer. Tester and support was also made available throughout the process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We do get several leads throughout our website and we have increased exposure significantly. Consumers always compliment the site as being design very well and much different than our competitors.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Fairly straight forward. Any updates or input they provided was communicated well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have great ideas during the design phase. When they come up with new ideas, I'll get a call or email on what's new and trending. It really helps be ahead of the competition.

Are there any areas for improvement?

A manual with all the uses of the back end tool would be helpful.
