We worked with two iOS developers, two Android developers, a quality-assurance (QA) specialist, and a backend developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
During our cooperation with local government agencies, we had a lot of breakdowns, but the Applover team was there for us and helped integrate our solution with the agencies’ platforms.

Our teams collaborated fairly well and quickly. Some misunderstandings occurred but nothing extraordinary. The lead iOS developer was especially helpful and contributed substantially to the product.

On Flutter's side, the application required a specific approach both from the studio's side, i.e. content creation by creators, and from the side of playing videos and songs. To enable both video and audio recording, the application uses physical devices such as a camera and a microphone but also has access to materials previously saved on the phone's hard drive.
To achieve this, the Flutter team used packages, such as permission handler, device_info_plus, or camera 0.10.0+4. The biggest challenge was to implement the ability to edit the created content. This has been achieved by adding a whole range of dedicated technologies, including video_editor_skd or imgly_skd. The application also has an advanced search engine that supports searching by hashtags, song titles, and co-authors of the material.
All these goals were achieved through integration with a specially prepared backend. In addition, the application provides a chat that allows artists to communicate with each other. In this case, the work was carried out simultaneously on the side of Flutter and BE.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

the possibility of communication between artists. On the Flutter side, the application was an interesting project and required developers to implement additional packages and technologies. Thanks to this, the key assumptions of the application have been achieved, and it gives the possibility not only to add and edit content but also to search for tags of interest to the user and to communicate between artists.
What is more, using cloud infrastructure like AWS provided the flexibility and scalability needed to handle varying levels of traffic and data volume.

After a few meetings with the project team, we were able to work out a communication system that suited us and Applover. Regular messages via Slack, frequent calls with the team, and a detailed report every month allowed us to be up-to-date with the progress of work.
