I am the CEO of a software company. We build custom products for startups and midsize companies.

Being mainly focused on front-end development, we need to find senior developers on .NET as that was the main backend stack on the project. We were in search of a new partner for this and upcoming projects.

We've had a few more pre-selected agencies with whom we were in contact to discuss partnerships. Modsen was on top of them by running smooth communication, providing the right developers, and a well-arranged interview process.

Modsen covers the entire back-end development of the project. We’ve already run the BA part and based on the requirements we’ve started from the team of 3 .NET developers - tech lead and two senior developers to create core architecture and functionality. We work in sprints.

We started with a team of 3 members, during the development we add 1 Middle .NET developer, 1 QA, and one PM manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We've completed the first round of development and received great feedback from the client. Plus the timelines were met, that what we needed. We could hardly achieve this success without Modsen.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was arranged professionally, we worked on sprints, and we don't have any delays in communication and task release. We use Slack, a video call platform for daily catch up and calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with the expert level of the developers who worked on our project, and how they work as a team. They not just coded but built the project with us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We don't find any so far. we found a real partner to work on other projects!

We engaged Modsen to assist us in building an application for a European financial company. Our primary goal was to supplement our internal team’s expertise and ensure a smooth project implementation. Specifically, we required their proficiency in .NET technology and Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

 The tasks assigned to Modsen included analyzing Azure resources and REST endpoints, developing a customized SDK based on our business goals, documenting the SDK and its usage scenarios, setting up an Azure DevOps infrastructure, implementing the SDK using .NET 6 with testing coverage, and publishing the SDK as a NuGet package. Modsen performed well, successfully developing NuGet packages for seamless integration with Azure resources. They displayed initiative, agility, and transparent reporting throughout the project. 

Additionally, their CTO provided valuable insights on application architecture, which have allowed us to optimize and reduce costs for this solution. In conclusion, our collaboration with Modsen proved beneficial in addressing our specific development needs. • The most significant measurable outcome of the project was the successful delivery of the application, made possible with the assistance of Modsen. Here are the key highlights that demonstrate this achievement: 
  • Working in collaboration with Modsen, we successfully developed and delivered the application within the agreed-upon timeline. 
  • The application met all the required functionalities and successfully achieved the intended objectives. 
  • Modsen’s expertise ensured the seamless integration of the application with Azure resources. The delivered SDK underwent rigorous testing, guaranteeing its reliability and performance, further solidifying the success of the project.

The team’s project management was on point. They were all about involvement, taking the initiative, and using Agile approaches to development. They made sure to keep everyone in the loop and encouraged everyone to participate in decision-making. When it came to delivering items on time, they nailed it.

 The team was able to adapt quickly and deliver results in small increments. They were responsive to our needs and open to feedback, making sure they understood what we wanted. Modsen was great at transparent reporting too. They kept us updated regularly, sharing progress reports and highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones. This helped us stay in the know and make informed decisions.

The challenge was to create internal CRM system for staff management. Modsen introduced smooth and scalable solution on the basis of React/Node stack.

2. account of the employee (user information management),
3. employees section (companies structure view types),

Modsen Team was formed by 2 fullstack developers, PM/BA Specialist and UI/UX specialist. The communication was easy and efficient. Team members acted proactively and finished their parts on time.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the project, we could cope with the management automation challenge. That helped us free up 50% of HRM department time for stuff management activities. That was extremely important, since we plan to double our stuff in 1.5 years period.

Vendor’s team used scrum on the project. That made easier communication, since our representative could attend the team’s meetings every day to be informed with the latest updates or to inform the team with new requirement changes.

The Team introduced quite typical tool using untypical technologies. They proposed React/Node stack, that is not in-box solution. The application became scalable, customizable, and cost-effective. They had excellent teamwork and professional level of engineers.

Everything was done according to the specification that we provided.
