BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the founder and CEO of an AI development company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenges were you trying to address with MindInventory?
We support companies powering their apps through AI. Many of those customers need integration support for different reference applications and toolkits, so we wanted to develop a service to manage these needs of our customers. We didn’t have the internal capacities to do this, so we were looking for a staff augmentation partner that could help us build this platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
MindInventory has been providing staff augmentation for many development projects. Regarding the process, we usually provide documentation about the development’s scope of work. They also sometimes work directly with our customers and participate in our projects with them.
MindInventory has an experienced team that supports every aspect of software development we do, including every language and every tool, so they participate in backend design and frontend development of UI/UX, mobile, and AR.
What was the team composition?
Depending on the project, we work with 5–20 members of MindInventory’s team. Our main points of contact are the project manager they’ve assigned to us and a group of developers.
How did you come to work with MindInventory?
We were looking for a reliable partner for staff augmentation in India, and after long research, we found MindInventory.
How much have you invested in them?
So far, we’ve spent around $300,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MindInventory provides services three times less expensive per engineer than hiring people in the US or Europe, so we could only scale the company with their engineering team. Their work is very important to us, and we’re delighted to have them as our partners because they’re phenomenal.
How did MindInventory perform from a project management standpoint?
MindInventory’s project management is great: they’re always on time and on budget. Regarding communication and tools, we have daily meetings and use Jira, Slack, email, and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MindInventory’s reliability and high-quality services for an affordable price are their best attributes. In addition, they’re very fast in finding resources for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We always provide them with our feedback, and they make adjustments based on it, so we’re good.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very specific about your needs and the project’s requirements. You need to know what you want and design the scope of work so they can deliver successful work.

My project is a news website with Wordpress technology as backend and nextjs as front end. I spent about 55 thousand USD and the result I got back was that I could not use that project in practice. They always try to make excuses for their weakness in a ridiculous way. I'm really angry. they took from me money, trust, time and a lot of things influenced in the process of working with them. Don't believe their words. I really made the mistake of trusting the positive reviews
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
using nextjs but when javascript is disabled the content is almost blank. So what does SEO do? they did it wrong right from the start. When it comes to SEO problems they don't even figure it out out there. Even when I talk about their mistakes they don't want or can't fix them but try to justify it with disclaimers.
go live failed. they asked me to pay a fee, then they fixed it (including SEO) I opened a new bucket to fix those problems but they didn't solve it properly, making everything not improve in them saying warranty fix, bug for 1 month. but I've never actually seen them do it for free
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Failure to deliver on time a lot. Product quality is as I mentioned above. bad very bad. I can't use this project now it's just a bunch of sources for a lesson worth nearly 55k USD

MindInventory helped an HR consulting firm build a mobile application to improve the company's leadership development and employee experience.
MindInventory delivered an exquisite application with accurate functionalities, which received positive user feedback and satisfied the client. The team excellently utilized Figma and Basecamp, making the collaboration seamless and maintaining the connection with everyone. Their approach stood out.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the managing founder of Upstream HR Strategies. We are a boutique HR consulting firm specializing in leadership development and employee experience.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MindInventory, and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a mobile app that would make workplace appreciation more meaningful. An easy way for colleagues that thank each other with specific and heartfelt messages.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected MindInventory because:
I liked the look and feel of their previous work
They provide a very personalized approach with single-point contact for the project
Of all the vendors I met with, they listened more and spoke less on the initial call to understand my needs. With other vendors, I felt like I was being "sold to" vs. understood.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Standard process, from what I imagine. The team was very responsive and accommodating in ensuring that I was completely satisfied at each step.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I think about 5, thought I interacted mainly with one project lead (who is amazing!)
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Very happy with the outcome. Functionality is exactly what I wanted and the app itself is beautiful. Very positive user feedback in just the first week.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We used basecamp and figma, which were very easy to use and kept us all connected.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their responsiveness, their personalized approach, and their desire to deliver excellence.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Perhaps short "vision" meetings before beginning some of the design stages. There were times that I probably could have saved the team some time or re-work if we had a very short conversation about my vision before drafting designs. But honestly, this is a small thing. I am totally delighted with their work!

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO and found of talque, the event engagement & management platform
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MindInventory?
For our technically updated Angular Webapp and App, we also wanted to have a modern and fresh graphical redesign, being optimized differently for desktop and mobile app.
SOLUTION
How did you select MindInventory?
We had several companies with potential web designers that showed us their portfolio and also had about 2 feedback calls with former clients.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project was to first find a modern visual design to replace the old webapp and then work out hundreds of different workflows and UI elements, both visual concept and details. Later, we also added some marketing and sales oriented design projects and even a small marketing video project.
How many resources from the MindInventory team worked with you, and what were their positions?
About 2-3 people with one design lead.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were able to work out together a very good visual concept that is now in productive use with some of the world leading events, from March du film in Cannes up to the Nato summit.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The design lead is a very experienced and capable person who is also able to construct large and complicated UI elements and is a pleasure to work with.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The final results and fresh graphical concepts and also the willingness to improve together. They are reliable and a high-quality company.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the co-founder and CTO of this company
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MindInventory, and what were your goals?
We have no in house web developers currently but needed some UI design and development for a fairly important visualization that was to be integrated into a IPython widget. We wanted a basic skeleton of the UI so that we could use it in a few different places, but didn't have the time to build it ourselves.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked around for a few vendors, previous vendors we used focused on look/feel more than functionality and in this case the functionality was important. We couldn't find anyone with prior experience developing for IPython, so we just looked for good UI work. Was contacted by a MindInventory rep on LinkedIn a while back and saw a pretty broad portfolio, so reached out to see if they could handle this project and they accepted.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a short introduction call to discuss the project off of a basic UI skeleton we built for the concept. Initially we started off trying to build the IPython widget, but that was a bit much to take on for this project so we pivoted to focusing on the web interface, which was the important part. We were not billed for initial investigation into the IPython widget. End result used d3.js to build a data driven user interface.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager and I believe one engineer, though my interaction was primarily with the project manager
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The deliverable is pretty much exactly what we needed.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had frequent contact at opposite ends of the day due to time zones being opposite. We used Slack to facilitate communication and it worked well.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
It was very easy to get going and work with them.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We had some miscommunication issues at the beginning around the scope of the project, but the issues were quickly resolved and we were not billed for the confusion

MindInventory has developed Android and iOS applications for a digital food packaging solutions company. The food containers have a QR code so customers can scan them, take them freely, and return them later.
The client was so pleased with MindInventory’s quality work, they decided to engage them in this second phase, and now the apps will be available soon on the App Store and Google Play. The team is efficient, professional, and communicative. They keep the project on track and encourage questions.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the co-founders of a digitally-enabled food packaging solutions company. We provide reusable packaging to food businesses, and customers can go into those locations and order their food in our returnable containers. Customers can borrow that container for free upon scanning a QR code and then drop it off at a collection box. It’s a circular process that tries to eliminate disposable packaging.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with MindInventory?
We wanted to bring additional elements to make sustainability convenient and accessible to all.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
MindInventory developed Android and iOS applications to facilitate the connection and return of the reusable food containers. We initially provided the framework of how we wanted the technology to look, but we also had a communication process. We did the UI design, but they did the wireframe.
What is the team composition?
We initially had a sales manager for the sales process. Then, we were assigned a senior project manager. He’s currently our point of contact along with another person, and we don’t know how many people they have under them.
How did you come to work with MindInventory?
We researched online, looked at reviews on Clutch, and got a couple of quotations. We spoke to some teams to see what they offered, and then we decided to go with MindInventory.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in January 2020, and they finished the initial project in March 2020. Now, we’re going through a second phase project, upgrading based on what they did last year.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The apps will be available soon on the App Store and Google Play.
How did MindInventory perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re professional, and the project management has been efficient. It’s been great to have one senior project manager as a point of contact to complete all our requests to him. The communication process is smooth; they keep us in the loop about major milestones and meet deadlines.
To communicate, we use a combination of email, Skype calls, and WhatsApp. They respond quickly and encourage us to ask questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re communicative and transparent. The team is very patient at clarifying things, and they make sure they’re doing exactly what we want. Having that process makes everything easier.
Are there any areas they could improve?
From a business perspective, we’d wish their services were more affordable. It would be great if we could get more discounts on pricing. However, in terms of their work, we’re pretty happy with MindInventory, and that’s why we went to them this year.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If there’s any point that isn’t clear, always ask them. Don’t shy away from asking simple questions or demanding things that may seem difficult to achieve. They can explain, and sometimes they can make it happen.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of a social network app and we are located in the United States.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MindInventory, and what were your goals?
We were looking for a company to develop a social networking from the ground up. Once I took a look at MindInventory portfolio I knew I had to take a chance on them. One of the best chances I have took was to work with them and we have been working together for over 7 years now!!
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected MindInventory because Bhumi and the whole staff was communicating very well and was always on top of all of my questions and concerns.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We would meet daily to go over the different things I would want. They would come back to me with a detailed plan on how everything was going to be done and then the next day they would show me an alpa version of what we were talking about. It was so awesome to see an idea come to life.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I have worked with several different people from project managers, backend, frontend, designers, etc.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Within several months I was able to see a running functioning app and was able to test it and later launch it to the wild. The app has maintained around 4.8 stars with over 1,000+ reviews.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Bhumi is very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would discuss mostly via Skype and go on calls daily to make sure the app was getting done with what I needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their whole team did! From their communication to their ideas to their coding skills, to just seeing an idea come to life. It blows me away every time. I love working with this team!!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There isn't anything I would change.
