Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Marketing and Development at Canvas Health, a nonprofit mental health and substance use agency in the Minneapolis area.

For what projects/services did your company hire LuccaAM?

We hired LuccaAM to redesign our website that had not had an overhaul since 2012. They worked with us to reorganize the information, and then created a new look and feel, complete with custom-designed graphics.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with LuccaAM on a variety of projects, and they have earned our trust by being timely, accurate, and fair with their pricing. They are patient with our timelines, and generous with their expertise.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After initial meetings about our goals, we set up a site map and talked about a design plan. An initial design was submitted and approved, and then LuccaAM began incorporating our new and existing content and organization into the new design. We had 3 major rounds of changes, mostly related to content and content mapping.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked primarily with a Project Manager, who had a team of designers and programmers, including the agency owner, working alongside her.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our site launch was relatively flawless. We've had good feedback from internal folks about the ease of navigation, as well as increased usage as we believe people trust the site more now that it's been updated.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

LuccaAM is incredibly easy to work with. We established how we would share changes to it made sense to everyone, and it was smooth during the whole process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

LuccaAM is one of the most responsive vendors I've worked with for any type of contract work. They let me know what they are going to do and when it's going to get done so I don't have to worry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would have liked to know a little bit more about how things like redirects were being tested, but we've been able to work through those questions easily.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner, founder, and lead administrator of Skills On Point, LLC, a medical education company located in Rockford, IL. We provide healthcare professionals with initial and continuing education in both hands-on and knowledge-based skillsets.

For what projects/services did your company hire LuccaAM?

We hired Lucca to initially do a graphics overhaul for our existing website and logos.

They were so good at what they did that we went down the path of having them develop an absolutely gorgeous and high-functioning custom website that provided for things our previous site was simply unable to do.

We have also used LuccaAM to manage our graphics and ad/SEO strategies and find them to be incredibly on top of the market trends.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to start from scratch with a new website that was customized to give us better SEO, visibility with organic reach, site flow, and a good handle of the expanding needs of our company with a focus on online education in the throes of a pandemic.

How did you select LuccaAM?

We were referred by one of their employees who I knew outside of the company, and they are also local to us and have a very engaging team.

Describe the project in detail.

It involved multiple meetings to develop our sitemap and goals, based much on a previous Programming Guide I commissioned them to make. The two (website and marketing guide) were basically extensions of each other and it helped us generate a very clear message to our market.

Once the initial sketches were made for the site, we had regularly scheduled meetings to develop the outlay and what it would actually look and function like.

What was the team composition?

It was a graphics expert, Cristian; a web expert, Abby; and the oversight was by Kevin, the company owner.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site went live before a large sale that was planned, and after training us how to use the site in the back-side features, it was apparent it was a very powerful tool. We had a great sale, even despite a pandemic going on.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Exceptional. They are very available and listen to all that's on our list of concerns and address them very rapidly. I continue to use their services to develop and grow into new ideas an markets. I feel like the team at Lucca is an extension of my own staff.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I loved that they are both local to our community and also award-winning at the national level. That said, they have provided us with absolutely outstanding graphics and I am constantly told how professional and young/fresh feeling our site is.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really. To be honest, I feel they have a great product and process. Their team is fast and does a great job. I wish all my business relationships were as fluid and well-ran as LuccaAM is.

I’m the CEO and co-founder of Food 4 Fuel. We do prepackaged, nutritionally dense, portion-controlled meals for the local community. Our goal is to have meals that help people on their health-conscious journey that are ready to go, reheat, and eat. We want to make our community a top 25 healthiest place to live by 2025.

What challenge were you trying to address with LuccaAM?

I needed to build a website that had a high level of UI and ease of operation. It needed to look modern and up-to-date. Also, from a marketing perspective, I knew they could help me utilize social media as a marketing tool.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They handled the concept, design, and development of our entire website built on WooCommerce. We had a previous website that had been created seven years prior. For this new website, our focus was to make it more robust by providing more options and an educational center. LuccaAM conducted some research on other food provider companies to bring suggestions and recommendations to the table. I didn’t want to limit it to just my scope of knowledge and understanding.

What is the team composition?

I worked with six different people.

How did you come to work with LuccaAM?

I was on a panel for a local Facebook marketing meeting. Kevin (Founder) was also on the panel. We got to talking and learned about each other’s perspectives. I realized that what he was doing from a marketing perspective was something that could benefit me.

I officially engaged with them about 18 months later. However, when we sat down with their team at the beginning of the engagement, it was clear they had done their homework because they already knew a little bit about Food 4 Fuel and the evolution of our company.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested about $18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

LuccaAM is helping me reach my goal of serving my customers and assisting them in their life transformation journey. They’ve become the marketing arm of my company. It’s clear they care about helping me take care of my clients.

What’s more, they’re really good at bringing thoughts and ideas to the table while also respecting my approval and feedback. They take what I want, broaden it, and make it better. Their team members also come to me with new ideas. We constantly talk about ways to enhance and change what we’ve already got working.

How did LuccaAM perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been absolutely fantastic with project management. Their team is responsive. There have been times when I’ve contacted them during the weekend about a hiccup or issue and they’ve consistently responded. They provide me with peace of mind. LuccaAM follows through on commitments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with their integrity. They do what they say they’ll do with intention and passion. It’s clear they have my best interest at heart.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any areas that need improvement. I have nothing but praise for them. I’ve been working with them past the honeymoon phase.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Sit down and share everything related to scope, expectations, and budget at the beginning of the engagement. Allow LuccaAM to assess the situation, evaluate it, and see how they can help you. They’ll come back and tell you what they can and can’t do. If you thoroughly explain your expectations, they’ll strive to meet them.

I am the president of Discount Water Softeners, Inc. We sell water treatment equipment and water softeners.

What challenge were you trying to address with LuccaAM?

We wanted a more interactive website that was more user-friendly for the shopper and one that had a simpler backend for us to work with.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They brought us on to the Magento platform, migrating our site. They did an entire redesign and rebuild of our site. They customized our product pages, implemented blogs, and added different features we didn't previously have.

Also, they took over our social media. They handle our Google Ads, our Amazon store, and our blog management.

What is the team composition?

We originally worked with Kevin (Founder, LuccaAM) and Sally (Author, LuccaAM), but as our business has grown our needs from them have also grown. Because of this, they brought in additional people to help with things like social media.

How did you come to work with LuccaAM?

I was referred to them by someone who made videos for us. They put us in touch with Kevin in order to help facilitate a better user experience for our website.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend a few thousand dollars a month with them. We have spent somewhere under $50,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in December 2014, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In 2013, Google changed its site so that 80% of our advertising was no longer viable. Because of Kevin, we realized we relied too much on Google and refocused our marketing efforts towards social media. That helped us keep going and improve our overall sales and ROI.

How did LuccaAM perform from a project management standpoint?

They are a strong team. They’re focused on getting resolutions to whatever you need. Their ticket system works, everything is finished in a timely manner. They get things done quickly, never leaving anything incomplete.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their teamwork and their ability to make me feel like they’re part of my company make them stand out. They share our excitement in our wins and they take our losses personally. They’re fully invested in us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There really isn’t, I just wish I went to them sooner and listened to them earlier.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’ve sent multiple people to them, and I tell everyone that if somebody wants to grow their e-commerce business then LuccaAM is a phenomenal choice. Nobody else can do a better job from a cost and teamwork standpoint.
