Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the proprietor of a specialist consultancy company, who advise and consult individuals, SMEs and trust companies, in UK estate and tax planning, retirement planning for UK citizens who are resident in both in the UK and overseas.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lambent Consulting?

As a new business, we needed to build from the bottom up the right business image and branding to attract clients who would benefit from our company services. This included brand and website design and promotion of the business.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Having worked with the Lambert Consulting team on many of other business projects in the past, it was an easy decision to make in selecting them again for this new protect. For me, the fact that, they really take the time to understand my business and what the business was trying to achieve was such an important factor, when working with them.

Quite simply they listen, develop, create and deliver the right solutions. They never cease to impress me with their expertise, innovation and quality of their work coupled with the service they provide.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

I have had several meetings to discuss and develop the design and look of both the branding of the company and the website. They have presented a number of different solutions, which they have adapted, with the change of and focus of the business needs, within our own business plan. We are at a stage now, where we are working on website content as well as discussions on how we can best effectively market the business.

Whilst I have worked indirectly with the a number of team, my main point of contact is Harry Fozzard (Director) our project manager, who manages the relationship and ensures that the right resources within their company work seamlessly to deliver the results we need.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their design and content work has been presented and where needed adapted, which now reflects the look and feel and has meant that we have been able to move forward in the branding and development of the business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have always delivered on time and when needed, pulled out the stops when I have needed something produced quickly. Communication is very good, with presentations and discussions done via video calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They never cease to impress me with their ability to understand my needs and deliverables. They have worked very closely with me to ensure they get the rights results. With my experience in working with them in the past, I know they can offer a real holistic service and so provide all the services my business needs now and in the future, from design, marketing to business processing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing that springs to mind in terms of how they could improve their service.

I was the cofounder of a Fintech consumer lender offering short term loans to consumers in the Phillippines.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lambent Consulting?

We engaged with Lambent to help set up our back-office operations. This included everything from strategy, budget planning, process design, and implementation.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

I had worked with Harry, Jen, and their team in the past on other projects and was extremely impressed with their work. One of the other key factors was the lack of turnover they experienced on their staff.

They've kept members of their team together for years now, which provided a certain level of continuity you don't get elsewhere. We were able to consistently work with the same people and didn't have to restart the process every time we wanted to evolve the project.

We had been lending to consumers in Mexico for a few years and realized that there were market similarities to the Philippines. Our initial engagement was to scope the market and determine if our analysis was right.

They helped facilitate conversations with regulators and lawyers as we scoped the regulatory landscape as well as oversaw the management of our legal and accounting firms that were required to get licensing. Lambent helped build-out and localize what we were doing in Mexico to the Philippines. This included building out a culturally acceptable collections process, credit model, and sales process.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with their entire team, from the executives down to entry-level folks who were helping out on the sales and back-office processing side.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Lambent helped us obtain our licensing in the Philippines as well as build out the business. This included work with the SEC and Central Bank. They took this project from concept to a fully functioning company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Lambent was an extension of the Finefectivo team. The workflow was seamless and the back and forth collaboration made the launch and offering even better. We couldn't have done it without Lambent.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to think outside the box. A big issue in outsourcing and BPO work is that the companies tend to want to follow a script and that's it. Lambent Consulting was on a whole different level and was a major value add to our work.

I’m the head of business development for Open Access BPO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lambent Consulting?

We needed a marketing consultant.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start the engagement, we gave them full access to our CRM, tools, and internal resources. Then, they took over our marketing strategy and consulting. 

At present, Lambent works on our lead generation campaigns and inbound processing. Their team helps us generate traffic to our website by handling our SEO, content writing, and advertising campaigns. On top of that, their resources handle our social media channels, including LinkedIn and Facebook. They’ve also collaborated with our internal team to do branding tasks. Part of that is modifying the design of our website. Currently, though, they focus strictly on marketing. 

What is the team composition?

Harry (Offshore Outsourcing Consultant) is our main point of contact, and he oversees the team on their side.

How did you come to work with Lambent Consulting?

They were recommended to us by a reference of one of our founders.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $240,000–$360,000. Our company spends roughly $10,000–$15,000 on their services per month. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began the partnership in June 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We have seen an increase in traffic generated through the website. Overall, Lambent has done a good job, and we haven’t had any issues while working with them.

How did Lambent Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

They do quite well in terms of project management. Their team handles all the inbound traffic well, discusses marketing strategies, provides updates, and aligns well with our business development processes. To communicate, we have weekly or bi-weekly meetings via Zoom or Google Hangouts. We also communicate through email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s easy to communicate with Lambent, and our team can reach out to them quickly whenever we have issues or questions. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If your company is struggling with marketing, then reach out to Lambent. Apart from that, remember that they provide many other service options.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lambent Consulting, and what were your goals?

Planning and execution of email marketing campaign to SMB decision makers. Consultant provided end-to-end solution including list acquisition, list hygiene, creative and copy including multiple landing pages, tracking, and flawless execution.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The CEO and I were colleagues 25 years ago at a teleconference company and have stayed in touch. Once I saw the quality of his work product, I was sold.

Only worked directly with the CEO with minot interaction with the CFO on budget approvals etc.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This would fall in the category of confidential. Suffice to say we were very happy with the outcome.

We communicated 2 - 3 times a week via Zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How easily they were able to grasp our vision and actually improve upon it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think we should have taken more time to source better lists. We went through a bit of trial and error which in fairness was my fault.
