We hired them for multiple E-Commerce based projects (Magento to be more specific) that we needed their help in development and maintenance. Those were projects from scratch and maintenance type of projects.

We had an intro meeting to discuss the scope of work which was a standalone project for an existing Magento-based client. They needed to integrate their website with a 3rd party API (Cloud ERP) from scratch. We did their due diligence to uncover the details and professionally put together a scope of work. After that we received a quote as well as the timeline which was fulfilled in its entirety.

As we had a decomposition document with the estimate after the scope discovery, we utilized the line items as tasks and then, kept track of everything the PM tool called Asana. Weekly meetings were included.

We have interviewed several developers and designers, and we ultimately selected the Kosak Group for their professionalism and understanding of the current assets and our future needs using the Magento platform.

We worked in collaboration with our internal team to provide the artwork and user interface needed for the team at Kosak Group to implement. The Kosak Group developed most functionalities using native Magento extensive features and integrated just a few additional third-party modules in order to keep the coding as clean as possible.

A project manager was our main point of contact and we had a full time back-end developer and front-end developer working with our internal team.

Our website has received great feedback from our customers as they love the easy user interface and very appealing look of the website.

We used Jira as a project management tool, but also collaborated via Skype for real-time interactions. With Kozak Group, the project was completed and delivered on time.

Honesty is at the core of all the people that we hire along with deep knowledge of coding and the latest technology trends, and the Kosak Group did not disappoint.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were satisfied with their services and timely delivery of tasks and projects. However, improving the speed of delivery is something that all agencies should always strive for as it is something that most clients would appreciate.

Magento, Custom PHP - we have various large clients with complex development needs and often need to outsource for skilled developers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've crossed paths on projects in the past and had insight into the capabilities of the team. We looked of course for Magento certifications along with other certifications held by developers on their team and worked together over time on various projects to build up a working relationship based on trust. They have always been fair from a cost perspective and also had an impressive portfolio of past work when we were brand new working together and didn't have the historical context of working together yet.

Here again, I want to share a general review of working with this company. We've worked together on dozens on projects at this point, primarily focused on Magento and custom PHP work. The projects we take on are always fairly complex eCommerce projects, so functionality related to user shopping journey, custom checkout experiences, search functionality, product configuration, various payment configurations and setups, sites with complex security requirements, etc. have all been a part of various projects we've worked on together.

We've consistently worked with 4-8 members of the Kozak team depending on the size of whatever current project we're working on and have had the pleasure of working with team members who are developers, project managers as well as members of the admin and management team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

For us the ultimate measure for any project is being able to deliver an eCommerce site to our end clients that works according to the project specs outlined and that supports the client's customer traffic and volume of sales. Amongst all the projects we've worked on with the Kozak team, we've never had an issue delivering a final product the client has been happy with, and often clients stay with us for ongoing maintenance and improvements which we often call on Kozak for support with as well.

Professional, timely, detailed and to the point. Project managers work to help make sure specs are clear for the developers and timelines stay on track. We focus on online communication and actual work being done, but the team has always accommodated when we've had more complex projects that require stand-up or status update calls - sometimes weekly, sometimes daily. They've always been willing to adapt and accommodate client needs in accordance with what it will take to get the job done efficiently and at the highest of quality standards.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The sheer talent of their developers. Highly skilled, efficient and creative. The quality of the development has been hard for me to find elsewhere in almost 20 years in this industry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that stands out in my mind. It has been a pleasure working with them now for a few years on many different projects and I look forward to continuing to work together for years to come.

We use several communication and project management tools. Kozak Group works state of the art, which greatly facilitates communication and makes just in time meetings possible, exactly when we need them.

Kozak Group can also draw on a broad repertoire of experience outside of the project team. They have an outstanding response time and they promptly attend to the issues that arise to provide solutions. Even during the current crisis situation at their site in Ukraine, Kozak Group is always at our side as our partner and maintains the quality of work that we have come to expect from them!

We have absolutely nothing to complain about at this point.

I’m founder of web-store specialising in classic football shirts and other sports clothing. Our store started its history in 2014 from a small ebay account, and now we can present one of the largest vintage jerseys stock on the internet. We are dedicated to finding an exclusive t-shirts for our customers allowing them to stand out from the crowd. Many people want to enjoy their childhood memories, and shirt with favourite player or from historical season should please every football fan.

Give the project a lot of thought before you reach out to them because it makes the process more efficient. Have a dedicated liaison on your end. As the founder, there are times when I’m so swamped that I can’t get back to them right away.

The team is very helpful and flexible. They have an experienced management and software development team. Additionally, our cooperation and teamwork with them have been good.

Our collaboration with them was good and very productive. They were always in touch about any technical questions, helped to fix issues and I was really impressed about the level of assistance. Thanks to that, start of my store was successful!

In the beginning, it was challenging to find the right people with the right skills. Management was open to helping us get new resources with the required skills.
