For what projects/services did your company hire Kismet Creative Co. ?

They helped bring to life a Mental Health Poster design.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I asked the local magazine who they used, and Stephanie came highly recommended by the staff.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

I met with Stephanie to brainstorm the idea and what content needed to be included. We looked at "themes" of the color pallet and layout. The draft came back with little to no changes. She even catered to last minute requests such as adding a QR code, and updating the contact list. I was more than pleased with the final draft.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Stephanie (Owner) I believe.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a huge success and has been a great conversation piece, as well as, sparked interest for more departments to use and create their own. This includes the Sheriffs office and other local departments.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Smooth and seamless. Especially being flexible with a hectic schedule made for it to be a lot less stress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

From start to finish, everything was so easy, and a lot of fun. Kismet Creative Co. understood the vision of the project and exceeded all my expectations. I love the family feel, and how she was always just a text or phone call a way.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing at all. I have shared her information with many different people. What a great experience! I WILL be working with her again on future projects.

I’m the founder and CEO of Roxxiedanz Productions, Inc, which produces commercials, scripted and non-scripted tv-series, and feature films that elevate humanity and re-define human excellence through impactful content.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kismet Creative Co.?

I wanted to revamp my old website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kismet did a fabulous job of redesigning my website. I provided them with my ideas - they executed them. They also re-worked numerous details like adding color to our logo, better integrating with  the new look. Currently, I still check in with them, as needed, when the site needs updates.

What is the team composition?

I worked closely with two teammates from Kismet: Joseph (Web & Support Director) and Stephanie (Co-Owner & CMO), who worked on the design and the overall concept. I also worked with Stephanie’s partner, who oversaw workflow and deadlines.  I believe a couple more teammates worked on the project to round out the needs of the overall vision.

How did you come to work with Kismet Creative Co.?

Kismet Creative was recommended by a colleague who’d hired them for another project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around September 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My site is highly stylized,  targeting customers  looking to hire one who works in the world of visual design and storytelling.  Moreover, the entertainment industry has a very specific quality standard because it’s marketed to people used to looking at high-quality digital work. My clients are largely  involved in the entertainment industry, one way or another – Kismet has done a great job of creating a look that also fit within the budget. Our click-through rates have improved, and we’ve brought in new clients through the new site. I love working with Stephanie and her team; they have an incredible eye for design and work  hard to translate our essence into the branding. 

Moreover, the team has great synergy and is comprised of warm individuals who are easy to work with. They’re committed to the project until they cross the finish line, unafraid to be creative in the process. . 
I love that Kismet is a woman-owned company. They’re thoughtful and work diligently to execute my vision within my budget.

How did Kismet Creative Co. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed very well in terms of project management. They’ve delivered  within my budget. We communicate via email and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Kismet’s strength is their customer service approach — their bedside manner, as it were. Additionally, I appreciate their eye for detail and willingness to go outside the box regarding design. Overall,  I really enjoy working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise having as clear of an idea as possible about what you want your site to encompass.  Have a sense of the style and assets you’d like to include while keeping your target audience in mind.

I’m the director of strategic operations at DSS Inc, a multinational conglomerate that has 40–50 subsidiaries and 10 business lines. These include direct selling, banking, securities, health and living, blockchain, energy, consumer packaging, and cryptocurrency. We have companies all over the US, Europe, and Asia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kismet Creative?

DSS didn’t have any real marketing or communications campaigns before. The conglomerate has gone through transformative years — in 2019, we had new leadership in place. We’d also been acting as an M&A company for a while. Given that, we had to agree about what our brand was representing. I solicited Kismet’s help to guide that branding process; we had to have a cohesive message for our potential investors, shareholders, vendors, and others. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kismet initially helped us with our website. It had gone through a redesign before, but something was missing and it wasn’t working for us. We needed Kistmet’s guidance on redesigning the website again. Beyond that, several of our subsidiaries also needed to completely redesign their website, so the team also helped them. 

Overall, we wanted the site to be a place where people would be impressed. We needed it to look and feel professional but welcoming. It should be user-friendly — people should be able to find information quickly and understand our company. 

Apart from web design, they’ve also helped us with our PR campaign, and that has been a huge part of what they’re currently doing for us. The team works on defining what each of our companies represents while also defining what DSS as a whole represents.

I’ve worked with everyone in their team, including Stephanie (Co-Owner & CMO). We’ve also worked with Joey (Web & Support Director), Jessica (Co-Founder & COO), and Jess (Partner). 

How did you come to work with Kismet Creative?

I was referred to Kismet by a friend. When the team presented us with some ideas, I found Stephanie to be well-versed and cerebral in her understanding of various business areas. That was important to us. She had a level of expertise in various industries, so we decided to hire them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

To measure success, we receive reports from Kismet. The team has created much more interest in our recruiting efforts. I’m also confident that people who are going to our website have a much more informed idea of what DSS is. In terms of social, we’ve gotten our press releases out to more people. 

How did Kismet Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Kismet’s project management is excellent. They keep track of their responsibilities, and they deliver. I don’t need to remind them about their tasks since they’re incredibly organized. Their resources are not averse to giving us a little nudge when they’re waiting on things for us — that’s great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their level of care is impressive. They always pick up the phone and give us attention and guidance. They also care about the quality of their work — it’s meaningful to them, and they want to know why we want things to look a certain way. In other words, it’s important for them to have all the information that they need to do their job well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to have more resources. As they’re growing and ramping up, we’ve been throwing them so much business. With that, we need more people and attention — we want to figure out the best way to maintain the engagement.  

It would also be helpful to have one project manager, who can divide the tasks among the team and decide who handles what. That way, we can avoid having too many hands in one project, and we’ll know who to talk to for what tasks. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an open line of communication. Everyone in Kismet is approachable, and they want you to know that. If you’re experiencing an issue, take it to them. Be honest with them; they’re completely client-centric and want to make sure that you feel good about what they’re doing. Give them as much information as you possibly can.

Kismet handles all of our website builds, website hosting and website development. They also run mini digital ad campaigns for us as needed. We have all 22 of our websites hosted with them as well.

The owners and their lead project manager. Fabulous to work with and amazing talent. Very responsive as well. I fell 100% supported by them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Measure is tough in regards to web development and web support but they always meet my deadline needs. We tend to have several firedrills each week too and they always manage to meet my needs!! Never fails. Even working after hours for when patients don't need to access sites!

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Great communication from all of the! One point of contact for me within their company. My point of contact then delegates out to the Kismet team from there. Keeps things very clean and easy on my end!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their kindness, communication and their willingness to help me no matter the project, even if tasks were outside their scope, they always figured it out in a timely manner!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at this time. Everything from proposals, communication, work quality, timelines, design, results has been amazing!
