Justin Jenkins Designs helped me create my logo. Initially, they took a look at my artwork to get a better understanding of how I wanted the logo to look. From there, they proceeded with the creation of my logo and gave me a couple of options to choose from. They also made some business cards for me.

I’ve shown the logo to a few friends of mine, and they all liked it. The logo is used on my website.

Justin met all deadlines and stayed within budget. For communication, we mainly interacted via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really liked the fact that Justin would always surprise me with his ideas.

I don’t think so — Justin did a pretty good job, and the entire process was seamless.

I researched designers as well as their price point, experience and portfolio. Justin Jenkins Designs just had an eye catching portfolio that stood out. Once we spoke on the phone, I was very confident that Justin was a great fit for what I wanted. He listened to my ideas and immediately started envisioning my logo. I liked the creative spark.

Justin and I have been working together on this project in stages for a few weeks starting with the logo. He provided several designs for my consideration. He would offer me great pricing options as well as many options for marketing my products that I did not think about. After the logo was finalized, I hired him to design my website to match. We are still currently working on the website. He has done a phenomenal job so far.

I have only worked with Justin over the phone.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The logo is beautiful and has been submitted for Trademark status from the USPTO. I have seen the first look at the website and am looking forward to seeing the final product.

The workflow was smooth and every time I needed to communicate with Justin, he was there. I don't have to chase him for anything. He communicates with me through various mediums to discuss ideas.

I am very impressed with his creative thinking and the way he grasps the concepts that I was trying to convey.

There is always room for improvement and growth. What was created was done organically and I am very pleased with what Justin has done so far.

I needed help with logo design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Justin Jenkins Designs has done logo design for me, but as our partnership evolved, they’ve made materials for business cards, flyers, website development, and SEO.

Regarding the process, we started by letting them know the colors we wanted to use and basic imagery for them to get an idea of what we were looking for. Consequently, they researched our market and competition to develop several draft designs for us to provide feedback on and ultimately come up with the final products. In addition, they looked up keywords that we could use among our branding materials.

For the website development part, they’ve created it from scratch. I let Justin Jenkins Designs’ team run off with the whole process for this part, but they’ve built everything based on our requirements, including color schemes, the number of pages, and how I want to feature my demo reels.

Currently, they’re hosting, updating, and maintaining our materials.

I’ve noticed more engagement from potential clients — people are now reaching out to me thanks to Justin Jenkins Designs’ SEO and branding work. Overall, they have clear and professional ideas to help me improve my business and take it to the next level.

They meet and even deliver before deadlines, are responsive to all of my requests, and ensure we’re happy with the deliverables before putting them live. We use email, PayPal, and in-person meetings regarding tools and communication.

They’re committed and engaged in the project — they researched my business and industry to try and understand it.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. Whenever we have an issue, I can contact them, and they’ll take care of it immediately.

In phase 1 the designer provided 20 options for our logo. Many of them looked great. In phase 2, we switched the color scheme and he came back with 12 options with different color combinations of our choice of design. We are very satisfied with the final product and the speed that it was delivered in.

Focused brand design based on book analysis and colors. Also wanted to create an edgy and dynamic energy to the logo representing Susan's resilience and adversity as a Chess Champion and the way she battled a game and environment that looked down on women who were talented over the board.

As a PhD student challenged by deadlines, submitting revisions is part of our everyday lives. However, it can become frustrating to look for graphs and charts that capture your findings. I am no expert, and I needed the expertise of someone I could connect with for this project.

My journey as a PhD student, often overwhelmed by deadlines and revisions, took a delightful turn when I discovered Justin Jenkins Designs. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Event attendees appreciate the art the logo JJD created; they love the colors and the overall design. Justin was able to capture the Ghanaian heritage in the logo on the first try; all of the initial options he gave us were beautiful.

They deliver ahead of time, which was awesome. We primarily communicate through phone calls and email, though JJD uses all forms of communication well. Justin always has time to speak to us over the phone in an organized way.

Justin is very personable and always has time to schedule a call with us. Since he’s very organized, he’s never overworked and always responds to our emails.
