For what projects/services did your company hire Intend, and what were your goals?

CarUSell is a mobile sales support application for car dealers and private persons. Main features - possible to take photos and videos of the car, and the system creates an interactive 3D model of the car. This 3D model can be uploaded to any site where cars are sold. As a result, the customer can see the outside of the car from all sides in detail and can sit inside to review all in details from any device.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I chose the Intend team based on a recommendation of my partner, who has already successfully developed a project with them and recommended to implement my idea with them.

First of all, we held a series of meetings in which we discussed the idea, implementation methods and technologies. Intend analyzed the market, target audience and possible technologies for rendering 3D models. Following these meetings, we documented a conceptual model of a mobile application, prototype, chose technologies for development, and the made a preliminary assessment of the development of the application.

In the second stage, the team developed the functionality of the application in more details. During this work, we received a ready-made design of all screens and elements, a specification with a detailed description of all the functionalities of the application, as well as an accurate evaluation of the development of the application (the estimate differs from the preliminary by 10%).

In the third stage - started developing the application. Intend developed the application very quickly, completely within the planned time. The guys also helped me create and set up Google Play and the App Store and helped me make a series of presentation materials for investors and customers.

I work with the project manager and all communication with the team was built through her.

Project leading was very comfortable for me. We had face-to-face meetings in the office and via Skype. The project manager at the meetings demonstrated the work they done on every stage, we discussed the result and further development of the project. During development, every two weeks I was shown the work done, and after a while I was given a test application with updates to test on my phone. Also, we had email correspondence, where the project manager recorded the status of each of our meetings and every Friday sent the status of the project. All letters were very concise and I was always know what was happening on the project. For convenient tracking of the development schedule, I was provided with Timing, this document contained all the information on the development plan put on the calendar.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very involved in the project. They showed the desire to find the most optimal implementation option for me. Also, it was nice when I was offered help in creating materials for the investors.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, everything was fine.

We needed to update the site marengo.ua, because our old site is very outdated, we have new products and a new idea for setting the mood that we wanted to convey through our site

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected the Intend team to develop the Marengo website following a tender. The team provided the best design concept, understanding our task exactly, and the price for the development of the project was also optimal for us. Also, we already had a positive experience of working together on another project.

First we developed the design. From our side, it was very difficult to quickly agree on the design, since there were many additional third-party factors (photography, copyrights). But the designers quickly worked with new inputs. When we started developing the site, it turned out that we had very little time left before the start of a new marketing campaign.

The project manager, having entered our position, developed a plan for how to invest in a very short time. A week before the start of the marketing campaign, we already had the MVP version of our new site ready. The project manager helped to process all the photos, prepare them for the site and fill them with content as a bonus for us. Thanks to this, we got a working new site on time. Now the team continues to work on the site, building up new functionality even under martial law.

At the moment we do not have statistics due to martial law.

We communicated in Google Meet and at personal meetings in our office, and we also constantly received the current status of the project by mail. All task setting on our part was through the mail, the manager quickly processed all our requests. We enjoy working with a team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most of all, I liked their ability to solve difficult situations and adapt to any circumstances. No matter what the problem is, they are always optimistic and come up with a solution. I really like that the project manager is always in the project, knows the answer to any question and will always help, even if you need to do something non-standard in the form of help with content or an additional specific report for management.

Intend developed the website going step by step. They interviewed me and my colleagues, made an analysis of my competitors and the target audience, created a UI design, and after that developed a site. In total, they spent 2-2,5 months on work.

There was a Designer, a Developer, a DevOps, and a Project Manager on the team. But I communicated only with a Project Manager.

I do not have measurable results. But they developed a good website for me, and now I have a tool for comfortable alignment of sales. All my clients come by recommendations or by personal acquaintance, so I use the site as a presentation with all objects in our complexes.

They've performed exceptionally well. Usually, we've had stand-up meetings every Monday morning via Google meet. Our primary method of communication was Skype. Intend team was not afraid to speak their minds and we’ve built a close relationship.

I’m most impressed with their timeliness in completing project sprints and specific tasks. I know that my project is small and simple, but they worked on the project with full responsibility, as if it were a big and complex project.

No, I’m really pleased.

We hired Intend to develop the Biomonitoring custom software which includes a web application and CRM. Biomonitoring - it is a convenient control of greenhouse crops using a smartphone or tablet. Pets monitoring, planning of protective arrangements, dynamic financial accounting.

We held a competition and selected Intend company based on their work at the discovery stage. The team delved into our business processes, understood the problem, and worked out in detail the possible options for digitalization.

All work with the team was divided into stages. The first stage was the development of technical documentation (prototype and specification). In the second stage, we identified the scope of functionality included in the MVP. The team planned a clear action plan according to the Scrum methodology. All development was according to plan. After the development was completed, we continued cooperation and are now gradually developing new functionality for our software.

We do not have measurable results, as we are now activating our software in greenhouses and agricultural holdings. We have already activated the software in 50 greenhouses and we are training the staff now. We will have the first statistics sometime later when the season ends.

The project management style was built with high quality and our cooperation was comfortable for us. All communication with Intend team was remote via video chats (Skype, Google Meets) and by email. At the meetings, Intend team showed us the work was done, and we discussed the next stages of development.

As a result of the meetings, we received a letter by mail with a detailed plan and everything that we discussed. All process was built by Scrum methodology with 2 weeks sprints. Every 2 weeks we received the developed part of our software.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated how they demonstrated that they were on our team and wanted the best for our company, and with their ability to connect with us on a more personal level. They really took the time to get to know our company, what we do, and what our vision was. Any time we had a question or problem, they worked hard to find an answer and make improvements. The workflow was very well organized.

No, I really like to work with Intend team.

We held a tender and selected a team that offered the best technical and design solution for our future product.

Intend proposed to work in stages. At the first stage, they developed the site design, after agreeing the design with us, they developed the site, prepared us instructions for use and taught us how to use the admin panel so that we could fill and edit the site.

At the final stage of site development, a problem arose, our management wanted to radically change the design. They quickly adjusted to the new requirements and made changes. In the future, we returned to them more than once in 19 and 20 to finalize the site and add new functionality.

During the discussion of work on the site, they always analyzed the site and offered additional work to improve the quality of the site's performance. The team often had to work in a stressful mode and with tight deadlines, but they met us and always gave a high-quality result.

We mostly talked with the project manager, but the CEO of the company was also present at the main meetings.

The work of the project manager was comfortable for us. Our communication was built on the basis of personal meetings and email correspondence.

Having done a certain piece of work on the appointed date, the project manager came to our office and conducted a demo of the project, and we discussed the following list of works. Upon the meeting, we received a letter in which all the details were discussed.

When there were difficulties on the project, everything was clearly recorded in one document, and once a week we received the status according to the list of closed tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were amazed by their ability to deal with critical situations, adapt easily to new requirements and the fact that they have adapted to our tight deadline requirements.

We hired Intend to develop the Parkshare mobile application. Parkshare mobile application helps to the rational use of parking spaces in residential complexes. Each residential complex has a problem with parking for residents and tenants. To make life more comfortable, we have created an application in which owner can rent their parking spaces to other people.

Parkshare is a startup that includes a mobile application and simple CRM for administrators. All process was separated into stages. The 1st stage was prototyping and creating documentation. The 2nd stage was development. They created the mobile application using cross-browser technology and PHP for CRM.

I worked with the Project Manager, and she demonstrated all the work done by Intend team once per two weeks.

Intend performed very well in terms of project management. They were excellent at managing my expectations and keeping me on track toward the outcome that I wanted. They regularly checked in with me to make sure that we were always on the same page. Every week on Friday I had an email with the project's status. Every 2 weeks we saw the developed part of our software at the meetings and discussed the next steps of development.

The Intend team was flexible, easy to communicate with, and exceptionally friendly.

Already in good relation this company required a solution to reduce admin work and actually bring more efficient workflows.

We reconciled the scope of work and within this process we received a lot of good ideas about modern UX. Bugfixing was very fast. Even complexed usability issues within the frontend were fixed very fast. Comprehension for the end customer was very good.

The solution saves overload work and money and an improvement of round about 30% faster procurement.

The project management was great. Bi directional communication processes were always in time. We were able to use different communication tool, e.g. WhatsApp, Skype, Messengers, etc.

We needed to develop a website for b2b partners. We wanted a new modern site where we can talk about the company, provide information about products, and also talk about all the social aspects of the work of our team and the company as a whole.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the decision factors?

Our company held a tender and chose Intend to develop our site based on the work done during the presale stage. Intend provided a new site structure and design concept that we liked, and we also liked their structured approach to reviewing and preparing project information.

The guys suggested that we build a step-by-step process. First, we developed and agreed on the design of all pages of the site. Despite the fact that there were many stages of approval, the guys did an excellent job, quickly made adjustments and all our wishes. 

The second stage was development. The guys developed the site in three months, the whole development went quickly and without problems. Every 2 weeks we received developed new pages of the site. Upon completion of the development, the team helped us fill the site with content and transferred all the products from the old site to the new one. They also prepared instructions for us on how to use the admin panel and repeatedly came to our office to train our staff. This is what we got as a bonus. 

Today we continue cooperation with Intend. The guys keep our website up and running. we are developing new sections with interesting functionality. We also developed an additional site for a group of companies for the guys. When developing the second site, all our wishes regarding the design were also taken into account, and the development was completed as soon as possible.

Working on the project was comfortable. Once every two weeks we were shown the completed work and we discussed which pages they develop next. Also, if we needed to change the order of work, the guys always listened and promptly made changes. Once a week, we received a report on the work done for the current week, a plan for the next week, a list of open questions and blockers in the work. We always feel involved in the process.

Most of all, we liked the openness of the team and their ability to quickly adapt to circumstances. Also, it was very nice that the team always tried to help us, did a lot of extra work, which always made life easier for us.

We were familiar with Intend team before development began. Intend successfully developed several projects for us before. Tasks were always completed with high quality and on time.

Intend developed a custom product with contains CRM and mobile app. They began by walking us through a discovery stage where we told them about what we wanted our product to do. They then helped us visualize our idea in a prototype. Once we figured that out, they helped us design our platform’s architecture and design what the full stack would be which involved the front- and backend development, APIs, and more. After the discovery stage, we received a working prototype and all the necessary technical documentation for our product. The second stage was development. After that we received the developed project which contains:

Intend delivered our product ahead of schedule. Our clients really liked what they created. Clients use the product, see real processes optimization in complexes, and recommend our product to others. However, we don’t have any metrics.

Intend has been performing great from a project management standpoint. They’re good communicators, and they have a good process in place so it’s easy to follow exactly what they’re doing and understand their progress. We communicate by phone, email, and Google Meet. Every week we have status on email, where we can find out the relevant information about the project.

Intend was always available. They always knew what I need before I said it. They create good and clear documentation. The product development is very easy, I always get a quality result on time.
