How did your relationship with your partner evolve?

After a rocky start with Incrementors, I am pleased to say that our relationship has significantly improved. Initially, my experience was far from satisfactory, leading to a very negative review. At that time, I was also not satisfied with their initial refund policy, which was very slow. However, they eventually processed the refund and took a commendable step by starting to work for free to prove their good faith.

The company has since undergone a complete overhaul and restarted from scratch. Following this restart, we had another initial meeting, and the change was immediately apparent. The team was professional, and attentive, and demonstrated a deep understanding of our business needs.
After a couple of weeks of impressive work, I decided to reopen a contract with them. Overall, the evolution of our relationship has been remarkable. The agency showed a genuine commitment to turning things around and providing value. I am now confident in their abilities and look forward to continuing our partnership.

One area where Incrementor can improve is in their onboarding process for new clients. During my first experience, I had the impression that they used a standard procedure for every customer without paying enough attention to each client's unique needs and expertise.

Enhancing the onboarding process to be more personalized and tailored to the specific requirements of each client would be highly beneficial. This would involve taking the time to understand the client’s business, industry, and specific goals right from the start, ensuring that the strategy and approach are customized accordingly.

I strongly encourage clients with similar needs to clearly explain the specific requirements and nuances of the sector they are involved in. While many SEO activities are standard across different industries, every business has unique aspects that must be understood and addressed to ensure the service is truly worthwhile.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In evaluating the outcomes of the project undertaken by the SEO company, it's apparent that the measurable progress and success were not fully aligned with expectations, despite a structured approach to reporting and deliverables. The weekly reports, while consistent, often highlighted updates and changes without demonstrating a clear and significant impact on the key performance indicators (KPIs). 

The reports were too generic and lacked a tailored analysis specific to my website's structure and scope, hindering my ability to accurately assess the real-time effectiveness of the implemented strategies and making it difficult to justify their continued deployment. The monthly summary reports aimed to provide a broader perspective on the project's achievements and shortcomings. 

However, these too sometimes fell short of delivering the depth of analysis needed to fully understand actionable insights for substantial improvement. While they aggregated data, the connection between actions taken and results achieved often remained unclear. Furthermore, the performance tracking dashboard, although a valuable tool for real-time monitoring, frequently presented data that was either too generic or lacked the granularity necessary for in-depth analysis. 

Although the deliverables provided were designed to ensure transparency and accountability, they were rendered useless due to the lack of understanding of the project-specific activity.

The project management was entrusted to a team member from the company who always responded promptly to my requests, including through virtual meetings. The reports were always delivered on time; however, the process felt automated, lacking a genuine understanding of the project. After three weeks of working together, they sent me a press release for distribution that was completely inaccurate, not at all reflecting my company's activities. 

This led me to believe that beyond the facade, there was no real personal engagement or appropriate attention to the project and its specific needs.

Each time, I was told everything was in order and to just wait a few more days.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an initial consultation with Incrementors Web Solutions, where they laid out their strategy for our company and website. They shared how they were going to optimize our website. For context, the old website was a mess partly because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we had to develop a new one. The Incrementors Web Solutions team didn’t handle the new website’s development, but we asked them to clean it up and optimize it for Google. 

So far, we’ve been working with the team for about six weeks. They’ve helped me set up my Google Business Profile. We’ve worked together on keyword research, competitive analysis, and backlinks, and they’ve set up our Google Analytics. We have a blog, and they’re optimizing that, too. Their other tasks include correcting 404 errors, fixing 301 redirects, and adding missing alt-texts. 

Moreover, the team has implemented some tweaks on the website. For instance, we’ve had a lot of videos that they’ve put on our website. They’ve also been collaborating with me to get more business reviews.

We’ve seen greater traffic on our website, and our Google Business Profile has been straightened up. We still have much fixing to do, but the quality of Incrementors Web Solutions’ work is excellent. The report they generate every week has been thorough, so I’m getting a lot of visibility into what they’re doing.

Their project management has been excellent. We don’t have a big budget, so we can’t overspend. As a result, they’ve focused only on SEO, even though they also provide consulting services for our social media campaigns. I’m happy they do this for our small company. 

In terms of deadlines, they’re so much more responsive than me, so I’m the one who usually holds things up, and they’re the ones who are extremely on time — they do things swiftly. To communicate, we use WhatsApp and email. Our shared documents are on Google Drive.

They had to work on some website issues to make it ideal for SEO work. They performed Keywords based on Competitor Analysis and recommendations. The have Check For broken links, 404 errors and dead links as well as different webpage implementations.

I needed help with SEO to maximize my keyword rankings. My goal was to improve my website and generate more leads through it.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Incrementors provides me with SEO and a little of website development. For example, they've helped me move certain pieces around my website for users to actually enter submissions. I also had interesting content on my site, which was misplaced, so they've helped me relocate it. Their team has also taught me certain things regarding URLs, backlinks, and other aspects of SEO.

When we had our first call, Incrementors provided me with a roadmap detailing every single step of the process while working with them. As soon as I signed up with them, we set up a meeting, and they assigned Mohit (SEO Team Lead) as the project manager to work directly with me. Then, they shared a Google Sheets spreadsheet detailing everything they wanted to do, including a list of all the possible keywords. All I did was accept the scope to move forward.

Incrementors doesn't create content for me. When they shared the spreadsheet, they included some ideas on blogs to write about. Therefore, I've had one of my employees write blogs based on those. Once we complete a blog post, we share the link via the same spreadsheet. Then, they go over it and apply it to the website wherever needed. They've also set up Google Console and Google Analytics so that we can go over the improvements.

Since working with Incrementors, I've seen an increase in leads and Google page views. Although I don't know the exact numbers, the increase has been between 50%–80%. Overall, their work has definitely met my expectations.

Incrementors offers very good communication. They're always available and answer my queries as if they never sleep. Initially, we communicated via email, but then Mohit gave me his phone number. Since they're based in India, we started communicating via WhatsApp messages. Every time I send him a message, he always responds within 10 minutes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m happy Incrementors Web Solutions has revised all our page names and URLs. They've changed the pages and made redirects that will rank much better in search engines. This task has been very important and wasn't done by our prior provider. 

Additionally, I appreciate that there’s no keyword limit in our engagement, and the team focuses on the best keyword for each website page. Website speed is always an issue, and Incrementors Web Solutions has helped us improve it without having to go to a third party, which we’ve done in the past and never fixed the site’s root issues. Overall, Incrementors Web Solutions is a true partner helping us succeed.

Ensure you understand SEO enough to know what you want and need. In the past, I’ve felt like I didn’t have the skills to explain what I wanted. I’m very happy with Incrementors Web Solutions’ performance. We measure Incrementors Web Solutions’ work based on their results; we're happy when everything on our dashboard looks green, including the bounce ratio. If our end client is satisfied with the performance, we also consider that success. Our clients are happy to hear from us whenever we present monthly reports.

About 2–3 times, some items have been lost between meetings. However, this is a human error, and I have no overall complaints.
