I’m the business office manager at Epiphany Assisted Living, an apartment building for seniors.

What challenge were you trying to address with iComp Payroll & HR?

I’d run payroll in other systems before, but I was new to iComp Payroll & HR. My supervisor was too busy to teach me the system, so I reached out to our contact.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Marie (Payroll Specialist) has taught me how to use iComp Payroll & HR’s software. I’ve learned two parts of their system: their time card and payroll features.

Marie first walked me through time cards, showing me how to ensure that times were correct. Then I uploaded the time card into the payroll side of the system, and she walked me through payroll, teaching me how to make corrections and add bonuses or on-call time. With that done, she showed me how to print reports and give them to my supervisor for approval. Lastly, she taught me how to submit payroll so my supervisor can prepare the checks.

How did you come to work with iComp Payroll & HR?

My supervisor gave me Marie’s contact information, so I contacted her to ask for help.

We set up a time, and she walked me through the whole process.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve worked with iComp Payroll & HR since February 2022, which is when I began working here. My company has used them for payroll for over a year and continues to use their services.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I wasn’t familiar with iComp Payroll & HR at all, but Marie has made it really easy. I wouldn’t be able to do my job without her — she is exceptional.

How did iComp Payroll & HR perform from a project management standpoint?

Marie is very quick to answer all of my questions and help me with everything I need. She’s very attentive. We communicate via email and Google Meet. When necessary, Marie is also able to remotely access my computer to show me things.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Marie has just helped me so much. She has gone the extra mile to make sure I am successful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I see no areas where they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking for a new company to do your payroll, iComp Payroll & HR is very efficient and competent.

I own couple of childcare centers and have been doing business for 10 years.

For what projects/services did your company hire iComp Payroll & HR, and what were your goals?

When I took over Lighthouse Learning, they were using big payroll companies and weren't very personable. I used to be on phone for hours until I got the simple answer I was looking for. Every time I had to do Payroll, it was stressful for me. The whole process was very challenging.

SOLUTION

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

I was given this company's name through a friend. I met with Rob and he introduced their procedure in details. I was little hesitant in switching due to the bad experiences I have had in past.

First, I met with Rob and he explained to me the process that they will be following to switch my payroll. He also explained that I will have a dedicated person who will answer my questions anytime I need. He also showed me his website and how a submission will look like.

Very reasonable prices. They charge us according to number of employees.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the engagement or general feedback about the services?

I ABSOLUTELY love Icomp. They are professional in their approach. They answer my questions right away and find solutions to any issues I have. They are also really great with following up.

The onboarding process was very smooth and well organized. Our Payroll experts are easily reachable and answer any questions that I have.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are Professional, personable, and well organized. I don't even think twice to call them if I need any clarification.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't think so. I have been super happy with them and have recommended them to three other companies.
