We needed to build a high-quality mobile app for iOS and Android.

What was the scope of their involvement?

HotShots Labs handles all aspects of design, UX, development (front-end and back-end), analytics dashboard, beta testing, and general tech support to be ready for launch. The team has provided designs through Figma and a completed app.

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from HotShots Labs.

How did you come to work with HotShots Labs?

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, and they had strong sample work.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

HotShots Labs provides regular progress updates and consistently meets deliverable goals for new development features. While the app hasn’t launched yet, the UX and features developed by HotShots Labs have delivered on my expectations. We’ve received great feedback from the initial beta test that we’re currently running. The positive feedback relates to the intuitive usability of the app, the overall look, and functionality.

How did HotShots Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is top-notch. Their communication is clear, timely, and consistent. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

HotShots Labs’ team cares deeply about delivering the best work possible. They serve as a partner more than a vendor. They’re proactive in making suggestions and are comfortable pushing back respectfully when they have better ideas than what is being presented to them. They deliver high quality across the board.

I hired HotShots Labs to create a social travel mobile application based off of designs I created. The requirements were as follows: 

1. Understand my design requirements.
2. Develop and test an application based on my design requirements. 
3. Assist me in publishing my application to the App and Play stores.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was able to download test builds to inspect quality of work. Several additional milestones such as publication in the App and Play stores, along with additional infrastructure and analytics work which I inspected personally.

Project was delivered in a timely manner, especially considering the large scope, the team worked well to respond to unforeseen hurdles when they arose.
