We started with a design kick-off call with their designers. They helped us determine color schemes for our website. Based on the first design meeting, we had a subsequent wireframing meeting for the website. They used Figma to design the layouts. Once the designs were ready, we met again to approve the designs. After the approval, they started coding the website. They did it on WordPress and Elementor. After the demo, we were involved in an extensive feedback process with them. Once everything was good, we launched the website.

We worked with two people on the design site and three on the project management site.

We recently launched the website, and our users are giving us positive feedback about it.

They were very consultative on each step. They used email and phone to communicate with us. Every time I had any feedback or question, they would quickly revert. They used slack and asana to keep the project properly managed on their end. We had to launch a part of the website for the conference we were going to attend, and they made it possible for us.

They are very professional in their approach. They are also very approachable on the phone and by email. They build the website in a way that we can manage it ourselves. During the process, they shared a MarkUp tool that made it very easy to transfer feedback and get it done quickly.

GrayCyan created a website for us that could also include our main company and our sister company. I zoomed with the head of business and sales and was provided information about pricing etc. Then, I met with Lorna, who inquired about what we wanted. She got all of the details. The initial phase was the design phase in which we went over what kind of look we wanted to go with and what not. After a few modifications in the design phase, we moved on to the content. They were very patient and accommodating and gave us suggestions that we ended up implementing into our website. The process took awhile because of how detailed GrayCyan is, but the website came out great, so we are very happy with it.

I worked with Armand from Sales, Lorna (operations lead), Nishkam (founder), Metchie (project coordinator) and Shrutika (graphic designer)

Site traffic has definitely increased and I can see the website on all search engines, whereas before, some search engines would not display our old website.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

My schedule was a bit different, so it was hard to arrange and give feedback when they required it. I have to admit, some times the process took a very long time, however, I know that it takes a while to code etc., so I remained as patient as possible. When I sent follow-up emails, I got a response the same day, so I appreciated that.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They knew alot about website design and what would help make our website stand out.I also really appreciate how the company added info to our website, even after the website has bene live for a bit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As noted above, I wish some things could have been done faster. Admittedly, some of it was my fault in terms of a delay in responding to them, but the project took longer than initially described in my sales meeting. As well, I noted some things in the initial design phase that were missed. That wasn't a big deal, they fixed them shortly after being noted.
