I’m the CMO of Talcyon, a manufacturing company. We develop advanced Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry (APR) technology and software solutions for efficient tube inspection and data analysis, serving industries such as oil and gas, power generation, marine, and more.

What challenge were you trying to address with HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd?

We needed to be tractable and adaptable to accommodate our customer needs because a lot of customization would be requested based on our product enhancements.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd has customized foams inside our cases to ensure that our components or parts don’t undergo much vibration. Additionally, they’ve allocated space within the cases to place our main units and multiple accessories. The team mainly focuses on foam customization and how to keep it intact despite using the accessories multiple times.

How did you come to work with HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd?

Someone referred HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd to me. I chose them over other packaging providers because they were close to my geographic location, had a great culture fit, and offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd in April 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We do stress tests once HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd provides a prototype. If our in-house team finds it reliable and passes the stress test, we give them the go-ahead signal to continue with it. The pass rate is 95%. In 2024 and 2025, we found the foams weren’t intact. Upon investigation, we found the method they used to stick the foams wasn’t the same as in 2018–2023. Although it was more advanced, it didn’t work well for us. HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd immediately provided another solution, and it worked well.

How did HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Although there were lags initially, they’ve been apt at delivering within the lead time they promised in recent times. We’ve had in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we reached the stage where the material we used for foam packaging went obsolete, HiLe Packaging Solution Pte Ltd proposed multiple materials to meet our requirements. Their engagement throughout the journey has aided us in reaching our objective. That’s been quite amazing and impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their experience in packaging similar products but in different industries has helped us understand and tailor the packaging needs promptly.
