They have provided to us an expert audit for our super app, which lasted for 3 weeks, Within these three weeks they've done a marvelous job including the following: 

1. Data Audit, in which they went deeper with analysis through all aspects of our Super App and ways to refine our tracking system. 
2. Design Audit, in this phase they pointed out the problems within the App's experience, came out with solutions to these problems, gave suggestions on how to make the experience even better, and developed a wonderful design concept.

We are a fitness platform offering a fully personalized training experience for pro and amateur athletes. I'm a product manager.

For what projects/services did your company hire HeyInnovations, and what were your goals?

We hired HeyInnovations for mobile app development. Our web version of the service couldn’t scale well enough to sustain user growth, so we decided that it was time to launch a mobile app. It was supposed to be a hub to give our users a smooth experience and attract new trainers as our partners.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found their blog, and the cases in their portfolio were pretty powerful. The guys seemed like they actually cared about what they were doing. That was critical for us since we needed to make sure that we would work with a contractor as one team.

The team took charge of the whole process. They designed UX/UI, decided on the tech stack, added new features, as well as developed, tested, and deployed the app for iOS and Android.

We were in direct contact with two consultants, Anna and Andy. Occasionally we spoke with their CEO when we needed a high-level view of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

End users have given positive feedback on the app’s look and feel. Business-wise, we managed to partner with more than 350 trainers, because they saw how easy it was for them to reach their target audience with the app. Even though we had to close the project in July 2022 due to internal management issues, we were fully satisfied with what HeyInnovations did for us.

We set up a weekly 1-hour meeting that was more than enough to communicate requirements and review progress. This worked seamlessly for 2 years due to the team’s diligence and commitment. The project managers we worked with used a variety of tools to keep everything on track, including Slack and Google Sheets.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

HeyInnovations communicated complex tech ideas clearly, unlike any other contractor we had worked with before. This helped us see what exactly they were doing in the project and why they suggested certain tech stack. Even when something wasn’t clear, the guys were patient enough to explain, and we were not afraid to ask simple questions. We really appreciated this.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They are not the cheapest developer, although it certainly pays off in the end.

We needed our own mobile app for grocery delivery.

We selected them because the team had some strong projects in their portfolio that were very close to what we wanted to achieve.

HeyInnovations designed our app from scratch. They did everything including research, app documentation, prototyping and wireframes, UX/UI design based on our visual identity, and development. The key app features that the team suggested and implemented were a built-in barcode scanner, a unified shopping cart, and so-called lazy registration.

We worked with an account manager Maria and the project lead Alex.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In 2018 we raised $2 million, and in 2020 our turnover doubled. We wouldn’t achieve that without the app, which brought us hundreds of new users after its release in 2018. Apart from the app, we had a website and decided to use some of the app mechanics on it. We saw that they were quite successful with our user base.

HeyInnovations’ team is efficient and highly professional. In our project, they stayed within budget and delivered every single stage of the project on time. We met with the team two times a week via Google Meets, and for an ad-hoc communication, we used Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail is unique. I’ve never seen such a thorough approach to every single thing, starting from the very first presentation they made to us, and ending with the full documentation on the app after the release. Another thing is the engagement and enthusiasm of the business analysts, who were there not just to do whatever we tell them to do. They came up with ideas on how to grow our business further, not just about the app. It definitely broadened our view on where we want to go as a company, and we highly appreciate it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There’s not much to be improved, our project went exactly as we wanted. HeyInnovations is a trusted partner with great coding and development skills.
