Here Now created a storyboard and met with us virtually, a number of times before the shoot day. They listened to our ideas and contributed their own to make sure we reached the full potential of the project. Here Now gave us casting options and organised the actors/models prior to the shoot day. We were impressed with their enthusiasm and work ethic to ensure everything went smoothly during the project. They produced and edited a brilliant high-quality short film with versions for website, YouTube and social media.

We wanted to create a video that represnteted the 100 year history of J A Brooks that would be relatable to peers in the industry, relatable to our staff and retirees and also have a factor that would attract new talent by expressing our values. Herenow worked with us on creative workshops and then filmed around multiple loctaions with some difficult accesiblity in places.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This is a difficult one to measure as it was aimed more as a brand video internally than it was for any marketing use. But I can say for a fact that it was a success, the atmosphere at our 100 year party was electric after showing the film on the big screen and that was the main goal.

Here Now were flexible with our moing deadlines, they adapted to situations out of our control and were fully on board with the most specific of requests, whether that was suggetsing new ideas or re-shooting content numerous ideas until we were happy with the smallest and most specifc details.

The understanding Ed and his team bring, when you are trying to hit some really specific areas and niche points it can be hard for someone to understand if they're not familiar with your industry or niche. The Here Now Team listened until they understood each component completely and then managed to provide some really impressive ideas that were completely aligned.

There are no obvious improvments here now could make to have improved our experience.

I’m the CEO and co-founder of AimHi Earth, a live online climate and sustainability training company for enterprise businesses. We offer data-backed immersive experiences to drive lasting alignment and engagement across the workforce.

What challenge were you trying to address with Here Now Films?

We needed to create a client testimonial video to showcase the work we’d been doing over the past 18 months. The video would tell the story of the problem our client was seeking to solve when working with us, how we fixed it, and their experience working with us. The goal was to establish trust and credibility for anyone looking to learn more about AimHi Earth and the sustainability training we provide for complex organisations. We wanted the video to be slick, professional, and have a relatively swift turnaround.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Here Now Films developed, managed, and delivered all aspects of the customer’s upcoming testimonial video production. The film was a fast-paced, engaging testimonial about the ongoing partnership between AimHi Earth and their enterprise client. It included key interviews with the main stakeholders from the client's team. The film also showed animated stats and workflows from AimHi Earth’s process. Details were outlined and developed in a pre-agreed script signed off by AimHi Earth and their client. During preproduction, Here Now Films worked closely with AimHi Earth on creative direction. They planned the interviews, the storyboard, the shot list, and other aspects. During production, the team conducted in-person interviews with the stakeholders. They put them at ease, handled lighting, and filmed everything. They also interviewed stakeholders who couldn’t be around in person via Zoom. In postproduction, Here Now Films handled editing, animation, colour grading, and sound design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received great positive feedback. The video was shared widely on social media, not just by our team but also by the client’s organisation and stakeholders. We also used it as the foundation of an outreach campaign for new business and to support fundraising activities. We also noticed an increase in leads.

They were a dream to work with. They had such positivity, professionalism, and support. We mainly communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was extremely impressed with the final product. It looked slick, and the team had great attention to detail. I was also impressed with how quickly and easily they were able to put stakeholders at ease and how they led interviewees through the questions. They had an amazing way with people (not just with cameras!)

We needed Here Now Films to create a beautiful TV advertisement that enraptured who Whistlefish is and the true beauty of the stories behind greeting cards.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Here Now Films created a 30-second TV ad shot exactly how we pitched it. This included clear project planning, storyboards of each shot, and budget management. After we received this deliverable, they created 35 variations of the ad for social ads.Here Now Films handled everything from the first meeting. They filmed everything, including scouting for models and onboarding, and edited everything. They went externally for their color grading but communicated all the feedback we had from that step. They animated everything in-house and then, when the film was complete, they even sent it to the advertising body and placed it through Clearcast for us. We didn’t have to lift a finger other than provide feedback.

We saw an increase in traffic and area spikes. We also got an incredible amount of verbal feedback saying how much they loved the ad. Some elements are still in testing, but we’ve seen a slight increase in all areas.

We received positive feedback from investors and supporters of the project. The films helped us close a funding round and provided media for our website and social media channels that we didn't have before, generating more interest in the project and more credibility for what we are doing.
