Nico and Paula from Glam Creatives took shirts from my clothing line to Tokyo Japan, and did several content photo shoots in different locations. The pictures came out so cool and unique, I am more than pleased with the results, and would love to work with them again in the future.

The content is high-quality, and the photos performed very well on Instagram and other social media channels. I was able to use the photos for promotions and ads, which drove converting sales.

We hired GLAM for a production of online videos to sell in amazon and other online platforms. We are trying to migrate clients from the traditional selling chanels to onlie, and the videos had to be for an older target age and for online. Huge dificulty level that was met by the GLAM team

We looked in a couple of sites and with our usual providers. Our decision was based on the creativity to engage with the target and the real live vide material offered.

Please describe your company and your position there.

The company is a locally based sunglass company in San Diego, we offer apparel and accessories as well. We have amazing fun, playful and chic styles to fit anyone's look. The company was founded in July 2020 by the owner and creator Steven Ozbun, our brand is making waves and has been featured on celebrities from Paris Hilton to Steve Harvey just to name a few. My position of Sales Consultant allows me to engage directly with our clientele, styling them in some of our eclectic looks. I love my position because it allows me to be creative with different sales opportunities and innovative marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Social Kick LLC?

We wanted to create content for the brand that is lifestyle based with an eclectic view of our brand on various people. The particular project was for a booth for San Diego's Gay Pride Festival. Social Kick created a theme for our booth with their team of performers and booth workers, as well as email content to follow up with the participants.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have previously worked with Social Kick on prior content marketing campaigns of photography of models in our products for our website content. The deciding factors of working with them again was the professionalism and promptness of finished projects. They deliver each and every time, so it was a no brainer to choose them to work with again.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The project consisted of creating an experience for our 10x10 booth at San Diego's Pride Festival. The impressive part of it all is that we were late in joining the event, which meant they had less than a week to plan it all out and get from Miami to San Diego to execute. Paula was instrumental in bringing it all together having things already lined up and booked in San Diego that very day! Social Kick provided us with a since of security in knowing that we did not have to worry about anything, they took care of all of the fine details.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

They arrived with a team of six people which consisted of two dancers, three workers who executed the Magic Mirror photo booth ( a huge hit) and the amazing Jose who flew in with Paula from Miami to produce the entire experience.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome we've seen so far is the growth in people tagging us in photos on social media of them in our brand from the event, there were also great sales at the event.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between their team and ours was very fluid, the communication was consistent and the work ethic of their team to get the job done was very prevalent.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing was the purpose driven actions and intentional interactions between their team and ours. We were constantly abreast of what was happening and the unique style of the energy the team brought. They dove into the work head first and only came up for air when the job was done. It is good to work with a team that takes on your brand as their own to ensure the vision comes to life.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement in any executed event, however, I will say that in their defense it was a short notice job to which they did the best that they could with the time and resources available.

Our goal was to sell our Holiday Collection online. During the pandemic, a successful launch was more important than ever to our business. We hired Social Kick to create a sales page that would convert and to create a coordinating email campaign for our Black Friday Cyber Monday promotion.

How did you select Social Kick and what were the deciding factors?

Paula and her team were recommended by Smart Marketer. We really liked Paula's personality and her willingness to create a campaign that would match the tone of our brand. While extremely knowledgable, Paula has no ego. She was willing to think outside of the box and create something that suited our brand better than a classic e-commerce funnel.

We had a meeting outlining the scope of the project. After that, Paula put together a calendar of key deliverables that were met in every category. We used Zoom, phone calls and emails to craft the perfect promotion for our business!

Paula Navarro was our point of contact. She was a true pleasure to work with! Paula directed her team to execute our vision within our timeframe and budget. Paula is extremely knowledgable about the psychology of selling. Her background is infomercials and funnels, but she can also custom tailor the project to create something that will better suit the client.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Social Kick knocked it out of the park! They delivered the framework for a sales page that turned out to be the best sale we ever had. With fine tuning on our end, we created a successful promotion during a critical time for our business. Our clients were happy with the shopping experience and will definitely be coming back for more!

Paula made her self extremely available to us. The team was willing to do whatever it takes just t deliver a successful project to us.

Paula's ability to think outside the box and to collaborate with us in a very tight timeframe, keeping the end goal of success in mind at every turn.

The Social kick team is mainly located in Columbia, so sometimes things would get lost in translation. We didn't mind polishing the text and inputting our ideas in the creative process along the way.

What challenge were you trying to address with Social Kick?

We wanted Social Kick to help us bring in more revenue, sales, and traffic to our website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They perform digital ads and email campaigns. The digital ads are on Facebook and Instagram. So far, the team finished developing our Black Friday funnel which was launched during Thanksgiving. We have yet to debrief about the funnel itself and I’m not sure if my clients can still see that or if they are already looking at a different thing. In addition, the Social Kick team also told me that we are going to change the funnel, but I'm not sure if it has changed already. 

During our engagement, there was a time when certain garments were $10 off, but then external stakeholders would click on them and they couldn't avail of the discount. After that, they asked me how they could avail it. I brought it up to Social Kick's attention since I received random messages with different questions from potential clients.

Some of them were getting free gifts, but some of them weren’t. I was confused and you can just imagine my third-party clients. I went ahead and tried to make the purchase myself, but there was no way that I could give them the $10. I’m wondering if there is a way to hide those things from our third-party clients so that we don’t confuse them. There was also a garment and its price got doubled for a customer. However, the other customer got it for a regular price. Overall, there are just things I need to discuss with them once they are able to get back to me.

We work with two people, Nicolas (Co-Founder) and his wife. 

How did you come to work with Social Kick?

I happened to comment on their sponsorship ad and they contacted me. They told me what they do and how they were able there to succeed in our businesses. I just trusted them, and here I am. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent $2,500, maybe a little bit more than that. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began collaborating in November 2020, and we’re still working together. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m waiting for more results because it’s been up and down. I pretty much got the money I spent, but I’m still hoping and seeing that this is going to work out okay. 

First, there was the election and that entire week was just dead regardless of the ads we ran. I feel like I’ve spent a lot of money, but it's still fairly new. I can’t give a complete review because the funnel is still in the works. I was very excited about it, but there were no sales or not very many sales when we launched it. I think maybe just 1–2 people went through it and used it.

There was also a day where I didn’t sell anything at all, and Nicolas told me that Facebook reported to him that we sold around $200, and I asked them how is that even possible. At this point, I’m just full of questions right now. I guess as soon as I find out more about their services, then I will be able to really rate them, but right now I can’t really rate them because I have so many questions up in the air.

How did Social Kick perform from a project management standpoint?

Nicolas has stayed in contact and he sends me emails every day on what’s going on. However, I want to see what the funnel can really do for my company and if it’s going to be able to do anything for my company. Nicholas did explain that my garments are very expensive, so that’s one of the issues that we are having. However, it’s not like they can really do anything about it. We’re still in the process, but at least things are moving right now.

Overall, their communication is good and I have no complaints about it since they answer all my questions. Nicolas also reports to me frequently. However, with all the other errors that I’m seeing, I can’t really recommend them yet. I want to know if changing the details of their work is going to cost more, but I've already paid for the funnel for the Thanksgiving Black Friday.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They report to me and they communicate very well. However, I need to be debriefed for me to be able to tell them what is working out for me and what’s not working for me. I’m still waiting for that. I was hoping it would happen right after the break, but I haven’t been able to meet with them yet. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know if they could improve on anything because I would have to see and wait how our collaboration goes.  However, it could've been better if they had given me a list of things that I needed to get together and send to them at the start of the engagement — I needed to send them different things at different intervals and it's one of the issues we have. I didn't know I was supposed to send them those things and I'm just surprised every week that I have to send something.  They really have to work on that.

Just ask a lot of questions — that’s helping me out in the process right now. Whenever Nicolas sends me emails and I have questions about something, I return the email or I’ll text them.

I’m the sales manager for Intermarketing Express. We do direct sales, mainly writing commercials for innovative products that we develop in various countries.

We track the interest and sales after an infomercial launches, and we’ve seen around 20,000 pieces sell in Europe so far. We’re satisfied with the results their work helped bring.

There was daily communication between our teams during production. They clearly communicated, made any changes we requested, and delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They truly cared about doing a good job and we had a positive experience. They included all the information we wanted in the infomercials. I’d be happy to work with them again.

We had a great campaign for Sauna. Our store grew by over 300% in traffic after the launch and it has maintained a steady sales stream since inception of project. We started with zero sales so the fact we sell over 60 to 80 units per day is amazing and has outperformed what we did on TV.

They had everything mapped out in Trello and called us at every stage to keep us in the loop. We had a standing call every Tuesday and Thursday to give updates.

They just do everything and deliver at a high level. We do not have that expertise and we are busy with running the company. We cannot take time away to deal with these projects but they are the backbone of our revenue. We trusted them to deliver and they did.
