When I came on board, they were already part of the business. As far as I know, GESCON CONSULTORA provided the best cost and benefits ratio for our company.
At the time, my company wanted someone who could dedicate more of their time to the collaboration, who was more than just a well-known name in Brazil's accounting field. We were more concerned with getting a good service than a good name.

What is the status of this engagement?
I started with the company in November 2017, and I believe their team started that July or August. The collaboration is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
GESCON CONSULTORA is always available when we have a doubt, need an additional report, or want to change something. For me, it’s important to have someone available when I need them because that’s usually when we have a problem.
We have to follow some rules on having third-party auditors, and we usually go to one of the big four firms in Brazil for this.
During the three years that I’ve been here, they’ve become responsible for providing information to the final reports' auditors. I’m the one responsible for feeding information to them, so this has been a collaborative effort.
The best evaluation I can give GESCON CONSULTORA is that none of the reports we’ve gotten from the auditors pointed out any problems. This means that they’re doing everything correctly.
How did GESCON CONSULTORIA perform from a project management standpoint?
We have straightforward communication through phone, email, and WhatsApp. The connection with the high-level people in the office is very easy. We’ve never had any issues with communication.
I believe they’re using a local system required by the Brazilian authorities, but I don’t have access to it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Availability is quite important to me, and I’ve never had any problems. GESCON CONSULTORA also stands out in terms of the accuracy of the information in the reports they send to our group accountants.
