What challenge were you trying to address with Fox Techies?

We outsource some of our work to other agencies. As for Fox Techies specifically, we hired them for web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Whenever we have a new web development project, we design the site internally based on our client’s requirements, using either Adobe XD or Figma. Then, we pass those designs to Fox Techies, and they translate them into a WordPress website. Once they finish the site, we go through some iteration rounds, after which they deliver the final product.

The projects we work on vary. Sometimes, we develop websites from scratch; other times, we redevelop existing websites. Still, most of the sites have been built from the ground up. Our clients typically look for clean and original designs for their sites, and they require those sites to work well.

We’re currently working on a website with Fox Techies. Additionally, past clients have asked for changes on their sites, for which Fox Techies is also responsible.

In addition to web development, Fox Techies offers a variety of other services, including SEO and Google Ads. Although we mostly focus on web development, we’ve also done some small SEO work. For SEO, we collaborate closely with their team because they might be unfamiliar with the market or certain keywords, so we usually give them some examples of what we’re looking for.

I work directly with one person from Fox Techies, but they have a team working on the project behind the scenes.

I posted a job offer on Upwork detailing that we required someone who could take Adobe XD designs and put them on WordPress. Fox Techies was very responsive, and we really liked their past work, so we tried them for one project. We really liked their work, and they were fast and efficient. Thus, we continued working with them on other projects.

We pay Fox Techies around $500–$800 per website.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

Fox Techies always understands our designs very well, and they excel at delivering websites that look the way we want. Additionally, their work is very fast and efficient, allowing them to make quick changes along the way. Our end clients have also been very satisfied with Fox Techies’ work, so we plan to continue working with them on other projects.

Fox Techies is great at meeting deadlines. We mostly communicate via WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fox Techies knows how to do new things. One time, a client of ours asked us to integrate some plug-ins into their site for real estate purposes, but Fox Techies hadn’t used those plug-ins before. Still, they managed to learn about them and integrate them into the website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything has been fine so far.

Work hand in hand with Fox Techies and spend time on the project. Still, Fox Techies has designers on their team, so they can take on complete projects if you need them to.

The job was to make a landing page based on a wireframe which we provided. The job included the HTML coding and designing the page + finding proper images to fit the page. So all in all from 0 to finnished landing page. They did what I asked which was to give me the HTML code with all the files which I can modify later to make all the forms work and host it in our site.

I talked with the head guy: Sanjeev Pratap Singh and he is fluent with english and he got what I mean super easily. Even the tricky proposals which are not easy to explain over text he got perfectly and understood what I wanted.

I got exactly what I wanted: A landing page HTML files which I can modify to work how I want and host it like I want.

We mainly communicated via chat. First we had a vid chat meeting where I explained what we wanted and after that all was done via text chat. However the team is very approacable so if needed they are available for a vid chat any time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with how they understood everything straight away. Even the complex requests that are hard to explain.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Just the last checkup before sending the finished results. There were very minor responsiveness issues which they fixed in 5min after I noticed them. So I suggest to the team to do a last minute checkup before delivering.

From there, the team delivered wireframes for our site and then we discussed how many pages and feature we want on our website after that they started working on a WordPress website the domain and WordPress login details I have shared with them, they asked for a week to complete the homepage, about, service and contact us, I was just impressed with the work they have delivered with a quick turnaround. we are looking forward to working with them again.

There are many things I would like to mention, they gave us a clean and professional website that's easy to update and maintain, I have never worked with WordPress and they took the time to teach us through screen sharing and let us know how to update the content and images ourselves and how we can make our website secure from hackers. We hired Fox Techies to redesign the entire website for the business, to make it look more professional and hopefully bring in more business. Adding some new pages, more content and pictures. I also needed an internet speed test added to the website.

They produced a clean and professional website, that is easy to modify and update. They also educated me on how to use WordPress and how to modify the website; content, pictures, links. I now have a good knowledge of WordPress and know how to make changes on my own.

I’m very grateful for the work they’ve done. My bakery is now live, and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without the Fox Techies team. Whenever I need any updates or bugs, they’re quick to solve any issues. For example, the site got hacked once, and the team worked tirelessly over the weekend to fix it.

The client on our side was happy that the website looked solid and is free of possible errors. Social media icons and web buttons were formatted perfectly to be viewed both on mobile and desktop.

We had to go over item almost on a weekly basis. Their responsiveness is incredible despite the time difference. They were very quick on delivery and asking for adjustments.

Their team is very proficient in many diverse tools like photoshop and Illustrator and more importantly, html coding.

There were some minor details they could have checked before asking for feedback like an alignment or consistency.
