As we transitioned from working with a Webflow freelancer who had a medium-level understanding of Webflow's capabilities, Flow Ninja became our innovation partner for everything web development related. 

In addition to maintaining the website and implementing small iterations, Flow Ninja spearheaded a use case initiative which involved building a CMS for over 200 case study cards, tagging the cards based on use case keywords, and building a use case filtering tool to make the case studies easily searchable. The team also built a take-over navigation which emphasized A.Team's use cases — as well as built dynamic use case category pages.

From the beginning, we were deeply impressed with our communication flow. Everything was very organized, and every detail was really thought of in the process from the very first communication touch point to the end of the project. I remember thinking the name Flow Ninja was a bit quirky, but there has rarely been a more fitting name. It's important to add here, that every member of the Flow Ninja team was absolutely delightful to work with as people and as professionals. 

Working on a project together for that long, that really matters. We used Slack, Notion, Zoom and a few other tools to coordinate our work asynchronously and it worked smoothly all along. We got frequent updates and the whole team was very responsive and very hard-working.

People, process, project - they truly delivered on all three, and I think that was the truly unique part. It was a great collaboration with great people who we really felt were there for us and cared about the project. The streamlined process and frequently used tools of communication meant that there was rarely any confusion or delays that weren't natural. And finally the product - we love the design and we love how easy webflow is to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Flow Ninja doo could have done differently?

Throughout the process, we worked to find the best way to bring our feedback to the team, and Notion was the tool we settled on working the best for both of us, so that was something we solved together. This was our first time developing a website with an external partner, so we weren't quite sure how much to bring to the table from the beginning, but this was also something we manage to work out in conversations with the team. All in all, just details that will always occur when two teams collaborate for the first time, but the trust and care from both ends made it easy to solve.

Currently, we meet every week with a full stack developer that takes care of our website requests. A project manager sends us updates and reminders in a common channel between Hive and Flowninja. A business development manager checks up on the relationship every now and then.

Our website looks great, and the page load speed is extremely fast, which is always a crucial factor for us. We've usually had a very tight timeline. FN has always been very responsive and tries their best to fulfil our requests on time. There were some minor bugs and web design issues now and then but they've always been quick to fix them immediately.
