Few's team aided in the rebuild of our Autism Supervision product. This included weekly meetings, delegation of duties, and writing all the automated test.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The engagement ended before the product was completed. This included reports and a wide variety of user data entry pages. These were shared between the junior and senior resources we worked with at Few.

The team was responsive, but I think we missed each other regarding appropriate resource availability. The first 5 weeks of the engagement were disappointing, but after a meeting with their leadership, they moved resources and realigned back to what we needed.

Their team's diversity and willingness to work on all aspects of the project - Front-end, back-end, design, and project management.

No company is perfect - I think they should have taken more time before the engagement to really understand our deliverables and then staffed accordingly. Not having the right people and then not doing what we asked in the beginning was a huge miss.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Design and build a website related to an art exhibition to present in-depth research and scholarship that had been undertaken in preparation for the exhibition. The site was built around an existing body of long-form content, but was to be scalable as additional material was made available on an ongoing basis. The deliverables included overall site design, project management, initial site development and integration into a client friendly CMS, and deployment on a very short timeline.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Met a very short timeline for launch without sacrificing project goals. Met user analytics goals both at launch and ongoing. The site's content was successfully updated and expanded on the client's side after the site was handed off.

One of the many reasons I keep going back to Few over and over again is their focus on project management and communication throughout the project. Most of the time I felt like Few was driving the project forward and any delays were from their team waiting on input and materials from us. I had constant access to a project manager on Few's side throughout the project and they were very quick and thorough in their response any time I had questions or feedback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How quickly and completely they are able to build a positive relationship with the client. I have worked on many projects with outside contractors and often feel like the project manager on the contractor's side is more of a gatekeeper. 

But with few their approach to project management is to facilitate the communication in both directions. I have always known exactly who was working on my job and felt like I had direct access to them to ask questions or discuss feedback. They are thoughtful, responsive, and come across as being genuinely invested in the quality of the final product.

Honestly and without reservation, no.

We first began working with Few around 7-8 years ago when we hired them to completely redesign our website and to add an e-commerce section. They executed the tasks perfectly. They're web design was so good that despite our website being ancient (in terms of web design) it has stood the test of time. 

While looking at other museum and zoo websites to get ideas for the new site, it was hard to find one that looked better than ours, despite many being fairly new. For our current sight (not yet launched) they were charged with creating a dynamic experience to set the expectations of the guests who plan a visit to the museum. Their final product exceeded expectations.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For the website 7-8 years ago, we saw an increase in web traffic and in return visitors. Additionally, we saw an increase in ticket and membership revenue due to the ability to purchase items online. Although our new website has not launched (I am updating verbiage and transferring content before it goes live) Few created a product that has exceeded expectations and on time.

They are extremely timely, organized and responsive.

They have an extremely talented staff with little to no turnover. Many of the individuals we worked with on the first website redesign are still with the company. That is such a rarity with an agency.

Attention to the customer’s questions, patience with the design strategy, which occasionally changed and needed adjustments. A very friendly team. We met several times in person for meetings and the team was always available. Few will stay as a partner once the company kicks off and we were very satisfied with the timing of completion of the product, the comprehensive analysis of the possibilities within the software.
