We needed help with UI/UX design for our platform before we hired developers to create the product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with UX and UI design for the initial version of the web platform. They worked with us from the ideation stage. They used InVision. They also did internal AB testing for everything to ensure the interface is usable and the experience is optimal for our user base.

We worked with several designers, a creative director, and a few other people who did the user interface design.

I found them while I was researching for a  user experience company when I was an advisor for another tech startup. That startup hired F1Studioz. Since I liked the work that they did for that tech startup, I reached out to them for my company.

We invested over $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–April 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s too early to tell. We’re still on the beta version of the launch. Our official launch will be next month. The current beta version is very simple and easy to use. The user experience was delivered in a very smart way.

How did F1Studioz perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is really good. We communicated at least once a week. They cared about delivering the right kind of user experience for the product. I find that rare in comparison to other companies I worked with in the past.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Have a good idea of what you want to develop and who you’re targeting. They will be able to build the user experience accordingly.

What were your goals for this project?

Since the launch date was very close, we had a very aggressive timeline for completing the UI/UX of the application so that we can launch on time. We wanted to work with a team which not only understands the UI/UX needs but also empathizes with users.

Once we started working with F1Studioz, we had a few meetings to nail the optimal flow for application. F1Studioz team did a wornderful job of understanding requirement in a short span of time & coming up with innovative solution for it. One particular thing which resonated with me was their ability to listen, empathize with users & work on weekends to deliver the project on time. I really liked working with Jyoti at F1Studioz.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

F1Studioz delivered a pretty complex application flow in a short amount of time and with great design. The end-to-end process took about 6 weeks from discovery to delivery. At the end of it, we had some great design for our application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The collaboration between F1Stuzio and Workaya was great with three syncup calls every week. F1Stuzio team was also open to get on call whenever there was any need.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Three things stood out for me:

1. Understanding user needs in detail.

2. Continuous process of taking input and modifying approach based on that.

3. Innovative designs which match user needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes as entrepreneurs, we get swayed to do more which might fall outside the scope of project. I polite 'No' early on, rather than late, can help make things better.

The project onvolved the redesign of the campaign management tool. It involved interactions with end users to document their needs. F1Studioz helped define the conceptual model of the product and refine the workflows.

3 designers from F1Studioz were working wth 3 products managers at Capillary.

The live product has up to 60% self serve users who have been using the product on their own.

Very efficient. It was 100% a collaboration.

The designers were able to help breakdown the complexity and bring all stakeholders to see the problems. They brought the entire team together to deliver on the final design.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to minimize the bounce rate of the customers coming to our website. Another challenge was to make the website search engine friendly and ensure my products were listed properly. Also, Google was penalizing us because of the mobile responsive version of the website.

Our design is currently being implemented, but, visually, I can say it adds value to our existing property and is surely going to make my website stickier for customers.

Scope of work was to develop a user-friendly and intuitive UI/UX design for a comprehensive financial planning website. The website aims to provide individuals with tools and resources to effectively manage their finances catered to their specific goals. It also included a set of standalone and comprehensive range of calculators.

The key deliverables included creating wire-frames and visual designs for the entire user journey for financial planning starting from goal planning to their investments, creating a dashboard output and connecting screens for making a portfolio analysis tool & the complete buying journey for a user. It also involved creating interactive prototypes & a complete style guide for the project.
