Caviar a few times did not explicitly follow instruction for the first draft of something, but they always immediately course corrected and put in extra (often late) hours to huddle-up, redesign, and ensure we stayed on track.

Caviar helped us move from a single "entitlements" product positioning to a multi product platform positioning. This meant a new homepage, 5 new product pages, and a drastically improved brand design. They delivered "dark mode" design, 3d rendered assets, animated graphics, and clean layout/typrography that 10x'd our brand.

We needed a website and branding that matched our aesthetic.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eatcaviar has designed our website and done some development. We didn’t contract them for development, but they’ve helped us a bit with it on top of everything. They’ve constantly monitored the staging link and walked developers through the process.

The team has applied the brand guidelines and worked on UI/UX to design components that bounce around the page. The entire website has videos, graphics, and moving elements.

Additionally, they’ve reworked animations to get them to work correctly with JavaScript.

Oleksander (Brand Designer & Illustrator) works closely with us as the project manager. Natalie (Project Manager & Director) focuses more on logistics and helps manage the project. They also have someone doing animations and more people on the project behind the scenes.

We’re happy with Eatcaviar and their designs. The website isn’t public yet, so we don’t have any metrics. However, their work with animation is incredible; they’ve done a great job.

The project management is excellent. They’re super well-organized, timely, and well-prepared. We communicate every day through Slack and have weekly meetings.

For 4–5 weeks, we had Zoom calls once a week. They presented a new improvement every week. Additionally, we used Figma to leave comments.

Additionally, having an embedded designer from the agency has greatly improved the efficiency of our design-related tasks. Overall, the agency's work has been instrumental in elevating our online presence and brand identity, leaving us very satisfied with their services.

Caviar was tasked with re-designing our landing page. Initially, we were hesitant that it was worth investing in outside design support for this project, because historically we didn't have great results working with design agencies over individual designers. Catalog was several cuts above anything we'd expected. 

Not only did they provide immensely improved directions almost immediately, their attention to process and detail was amazing, as well as their patience for our feedback cadence and pattern. We saw an uptick in conversion, and Catalog's "Sign up with Google" suggestion was super valuable for capturing more traffic from top of funnel.
