I'm an ecommerce attorney. I represent clients primarily in the areas of (i) legal documents for ecommerce websites, portals and marketplaces, and (ii) online marketing compliance.

I am Of Counsel to a law firm that represents corporate clients; however, the main law firm did not present my services to the level of specification I needed. My challenges: I needed a separate website that addressed the specific services that I provide to ecommerce clients. My challenges: the website needed to appeal to ecommerce companies and entrepreneurs. I engaged e-intelligence for this project.

I searched for website developers online and found 3 that appeared to be able to offer what I wanted. I was fortunate to have a discussion with the CEO of e-intelligence. He really impressed me with how e-intelligence works closely with their clients and generally regarding pricing, services, and their general approach, and that's what convinced me to engage e-intelligence. It turned out to be a very good decision for me.

First, we had a kick-off meeting with the Project Coordinator. Based on a discussion of my goals and objectives, he introduced me to the Project Manager who was a great fit for my project. After several discussions with the Project Manager, their team designed and developed the new website that incorporated among other things several calls to action (Book a Call) and online contact forms in strategic places.

I don’t know how many team members were involved with my project. Most of my discussions were with the Project Manager who introduced me to specific team members as needed for specific elements of the project. Each of them was very professional, prompt, and helpful. It was very easy and a pleasure to work with the team members.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website is precisely what I wanted. E-intelligence didn’t just produce a template website for me. The site loads very quickly even for mobile users. Several clients have stated that they were impressed with the design. I’m very happy with the result. My law practice has increased substantially as a result.

We had Zoom calls on an as-needed basis with the Project Manager and specific team members for specific elements of the project as needed. At every step of the project the Project Manager advised of the critical path for completion and next steps, particularly for input from me for content for specific elements. Their management style was very organized, prompt, and on time with the critical path. Overall, the project was very professionally and timely managed. Overall, the entire process was smooth and very-well done. It actually exceeded my expectations.

I was impressed with how well and efficiently the team managed the entire project. They really knew what they were doing and worked as an efficient team. They were responsive and supporting with my questions and concerns I had during the project. They really cared about my project.

I really can't think of any constructive criticism. I got precisely what I wanted, on-time and on-budget. I'm very happy with the result and the process. I highly recommend e-intelligence.

Pricing is a key factor for most startups. EI gave us a package for development which I am confident would be 1/3rd the price of any other organisation. First, e-intelligence quickly set up a campaign to get us going. They have created an SEO campaign, primarily with keywords, half of that is focused on disinfection, and half of that is focused on janitorial work. In addition to making some content adjustments, they performed both on-site and off-site SEO for the cleaning department. They went through and used Google to run some reports, identifying the areas with extremely high usage. The keywords were then developed around that.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In three weeks, the team managed to move us up to the top spot for disinfection. For us, this meant that the two months during which the pandemic's first wave peaked were also the most prosperous of our lives. That had a direct bearing on the SEO work they completed.

It has been good and organized. e intelligence has been good with reporting, and they use a platform called Nightwatch, which I really like because it gives me a more granular view of how our site is performing through a daily report. They also do weekly reports and I believe there is also a monthly report. I haven’t had any trouble getting through to Asad if I need to speak with him directly, which has been really helpful at certain times when there have been issues. We use email to communicate.

I tried to ask if they could help us with Google Ads, but they only focus on SEO, which I think is a benefit. A lot of times, people try to branch out too much in this space, so it’s been valuable to only do SEO.

Their communication has been awesome. They do a really good job of keeping in touch and keeping me in the loop, and they’re active when I have requests. Additionally, when the pandemic hit, we needed help because we lost one of our largest clients and unfortunately that was a big percentage of our revenue. We had to cut down on some things and part of that was SEO. Asad just jumped right in and said we would cut down where we needed to and come back up when we needed to.

A lot of times people try to get you into contracts and agreements and they’re just not really friendly, so it was refreshing to see this with Asad. The experience has been really good compared to other ones that I had in the past. This is probably the fourth or fifth SEO company we have dealt with, and they seem to be more organized, professional, and proactive than any of the others.

No, I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head. They just got on Nightwatch, so they are trying to improve. If anything, they could be more granular with where the backlinks are and exact about what they’re working on.
