Our company is in the natural gas odorization business. I am in Marketing and am currently helping grow web presence among other things.

For what projects/services did your company hire Draper Studios, and what were your goals?

We hired Draper to take headshots and shoot video biographies to use on our website. We wanted to elevate our presence online in a credible manner.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After researching partners in the area and reading reviews I called Draper to discuss our project. I immediately received the information I was asking about from Matt and was impressed by his credentials.

We discussed what the purpose of the video and photography was, we talked about style and scripts, do's and don'ts etc. It was a very easy process and Matt provided valuable tips from his years of experience. From there the date was set. Being remote, I was not personally at the location for shoot day but heard from both parties it went well.

I worked with Matt himself.

Matt always responded within 24 hours if not sooner. We thought we may have to change dates due to a flight delay but Matt was able to suggest ideas to accommodate and everything went as expected.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Matt took the time to learn about our goals and it was important to him that we were happy and that he did a good job.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish I could of been there in person for shoot day, but that had nothing to do with Matt.

Creating, shooting, and editing videos to promote products and services and build our YouTube channel subscription and views. In addition, drive traffic to our e-commerce website.

We selected Draper Studios via referral and have continued to work with them because of their exceptional videography and editing skill as well as creativity in developing video concepts and story telling.

We start by concepting video and shoot ideas, then plan production. For there we shoot video content then collaborate on the edit. In addition, Draper Studios helps us with content planning for future video projects.

As video content director, I work with Draper Studios directly through every stage of a project—content creation, planning, shooting, and editing.

Since working with Draper Studios our Youtube channel subscriptions have more than doubled, our views are up, and we are driving 40% more traffic to our website.

We hired Matt with Draper Studios to shoot an offsite event, as well as a video interview for our North America CEO. Matt also created a recap sizzle video of the event, and we have since worked with him to create a video using footage we supplied discussing our quarterly earnings.

Matt was helpful in providing guidance around shoot setup and execution, coordinating with an international team who would be taking the exec footage. He had a good POV when it came to getting the shots and the end result was high-quality footage of our CEO.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The CEO video footage was included in a more comprehensive video of other global leaders and was shared worldwide during our annual company celebration. The quarterly earnings video Matt edited was shared with our 6,000 North American employees.

Matt is incredibly flexible and communicative; goes above and beyond to provide a great service.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For video editing, I am not sure of Matt's design experience so to match look and feel of existing company collateral, it may be helpful to also work with a creative designer who better knows brand guidelines. (This is what we did.)
