BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of marketing at ClaimBuyout. We’re a post-accident solution; we buy damaged vehicles at pre-accident value. We partner with insurance providers who extend our services to their policyholders after an accident.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Authority Partners?
We launched our brand in January 2021, so we wanted to engage a creative partner we could trust to put our digital health first and teach us about ranking, authority scores, SEO, and purposeful content.
We had a decent website that met our needs as a startup, but as we evolved to bring on more insurance providers, we wanted to redevelop our site to make it more user-friendly and tech-forward.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had several meetings at the beginning of the project to go over our vision and what we expected from the partnership. Digital Authority Partners worked to understand our brand, conducted digital health reports, and delivered a plan of action. They initially provided us with three design options, and we provided feedback and selected our favorite.
Digital Authority Partners has redesigned and reformulated our website to improve the UX and give us a more tech-forward feel. They made the site more user-friendly, informative, and compatible with mobile and desktop. They changed the site to have a black background and included elements of our branding throughout. They gave us creative ideas to improve the site and taught us about SEO and generating purposeful content. The new website will launch later this month.
Additionally, they’ve assisted us with copywriting and created white papers. They’ve also streamlined the resources we provide to insurance carriers and vehicle owners. They’ve included educational pages that outline what users can expect post-accident and how our process can work to help them quickly. We primarily use InVision, InDesign, and Google Docs to share content. We plan to engage their other services in the future.
What is the team composition?
We primarily work with Michael (President), Garrett (Content Manager), and Pranjal (Head of Product Management). Digital Authority Partners also has their own team of designers working behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Digital Authority Partners?
I was looking for a local SEO partner, and one of my colleagues recommended Digital Authority Partners, so I reached out.
Michael and I actually had several conversations about ranking and SEO months before we even signed a contract to engage Digital Authority Partners. They focused on building a relationship with us and understanding our goals, which we admired, so we moved forward with the engagement.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with Digital Authority Partners for a different project in December 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I have a web development and design background, so I’ve been very direct about our goals and specifications, and Digital Authority Partners has done a stellar job with the website. We are a digital platform, so our site needs to be accessible and navigable for our insurance partners and individual vehicle owners. They did a good job breaking down how our service works to give consumers a solid understanding of our business.
Our customer experience team is ecstatic because they feel like the website effectively and transparently shows users how we generate pre-accident value. Digital Authority Partners has made it easier for insurance partners to log in to our portal to view customer statuses easily. Users can now submit their information and get offers back within an hour when they visit our site. We have a 70% acceptance rate on our offers and purchased $30 million worth of damaged vehicles to date.

We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback, and our team is pleased with the content's quality and attention to detail. Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve met our deadline, which we’re delighted with, but things can always move more quickly, so I’d say the only room for improvement would be with regard to response time.

I advise going into the project with a solid understanding of your overall goals and what you’d like to achieve. It sounds simple, but you must start with a solid foundation so that Digital Authority Partners can deliver effective results and help your business succeed.
