The work was to collect and organize market pricing information, follow how it changed over time, and provide structured data that could be easily checked and used during audit review.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They supplied historical pricing snapshots with effective dates, which allowed to make direct comparison between market-facing changes and reported revenue trends. Output was provided in a structured format with timestamps and source attribution, suitable for audit working papers and independent verification, without reliance on management-prepared schedules. 

The data was used as corroborative evidence during analytical procedures and substantive testing. It became great supporting element of our assessment of whether reported revenue levels and growth were reasonable relative to observable market conditions.

We started with a short scoping discussion where they walked through our audit objectives and repeated them back in plain language, so it was clear we were aligned on what “market-facing pricing data” actually meant for our file. Are there any areas for improvement or something Datamam could have done differently?

First few datasets still required a bit of manual mapping between our internal product codes and Datamam’s pricing taxonomy, so we had to do an extra pass of clean‑up before it fully plugged into our audit tests.
