Ideal Tax Solution is headquartered in Orange County, California, and is licensed in and provides tax resolution service to all 50 states. Position: Salesforce Developer
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Cyntexa?
Help with reviewing our requirements to create an automated process which would touch every department in our business.
What were your goals for this project?
To automate a mundane task that took a person 30 minutes to complete one task and reproduce in seconds.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
Through a vetting process, we chose them from other companies at the time.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Our requirements were to automated task records upon the creation of an opportunity record. Several complex automated functionalities, which included native Salesforce notifications for both mobile and desktop, were utilized when a task record was to create.
At the same time, since using the task record for this function, it involved the creation of various record types, not only at the task level but the parent object and child objects.
Each record needed to be precisely linked to the correct page layout, path settings, and sales process. A one of a kind custom Apex trigger was developed on the opportunity object to create tasks which helps facilitate the triggering on the activity to update the functions and notifications.
This also involved process builder for those actions where it deemed appropriate in using less code for easy System Admin updating or general management ease of use.
Though process builder may seem simple, this piece is responsible for setting up and sending the Salesforce notifications to end-users, so it was essential to be highly functional but easy to use. To wrap it all up and automate this process, the utilization of a scheduled Apex batch was developed to handle thousands of records with multiple users online.
What was the team composition?
The team was structured with a project manager and two salesforce developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We this new process, we have seen 100% efficiency in many areas of the business. This process was a bottleneck beyond belief and it seemed very difficult to even think of creating an automated process with its human complexity.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Informative, always asking questions, making sure we were on schedule and ensuring anything we might have missed, were brought to our attention
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their desire to work on a new project that was complex was very impressive. They brought new ideas that we quickly approved into the original scope.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We all learned from one another, and we became a team of some sorts. Some time differences were a bit to get a hang of in the beginning but then after a few sessions meeting online, it almost became second nature.

Cyntexa built a Salesforce based platform for an application development firm. They rewrote the functionality a previous vendor failed to complete from scratch and redeveloped it to complete the project.
Cyntexa's efforts have been met with positive acclaim. The team is professional, committed, and invested in their projects. Customers can expect an efficient team that excels at problem solving.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the owner of the project. We do small to mid-size business application development and application implementation and application across cloud solutions across platforms.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyntexa ?
We hired Cyntexa to build a cloud Salesforce-based platform for nonprofit organizations.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I originally contracted another company to complete the project, but they weren't able to deliver all of the necessary customizations. They rewrote a lot of the functionality from scratch and redeveloped it to complete the project.
What is the team composition?
We had 2-3 developers on and off, including one project lead.
How did you come to work with Cyntexa ?
I found them through a freelance site. Once we found a lot of roadblocks with the less expensive company we hired before them, we went ahead and hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested approximately $10,000 – $12,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in August 2019, and wrapped up in February 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
From the company perspective, the impact has been tremendous.
They had a lot more clarity and did a lot more homework than the first company. They didn't have a depth of experience but used their resources to achieve the project. From the company perspective, the impact has been tremendous. They've helped us do some expansion and customization to meet the operational needs of nonprofit organizations and make it more adaptable for different styles of organizations.
How did Cyntexa perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated with Trello, and through daily SCRUM calls. We used Google Hangouts as well to go over requirements. We shared documents through G-drive or email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were highly committed and loved to work closely with us. They worked hard to problem-solve, but if we didn't have the right answer they'd turn to their senior developers. Their clear understanding of the requirements is what really led to our success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could work more on their delivery timeline. Sometimes we had to push them to be able to understand what the critical deadlines and timelines are. To be fair, our timeline wasn't exactly solidified.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to have daily interaction with the development team and to address concerns. They're copious note-takers, so if you meet with them often enough they'll know what's important and be able to deliver.

Cyntexa provided staff augmentation to assist in the re-architecture of a platform. The platform is currently going through beta testing.
Customers are giving great feedback about the product Cyntexa assisted with and has resulted in more revenue. They work seamlessly with the client's team and have integrated resources into their project management tools. It has been a good experience so far.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of product and customer success at PointCare. It’s a healthcare software company that provides revenue cycle management to hospitals, revenue cycle managers, and qualified health centers, mostly in the U.S.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyntexa?
We were looking for peak-time staff augmentation to work with our team on a platform re-architecture project.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They worked collaboratively with our team to re-architecture the core platform and add new features to a product that’s in the marketplace in another version. They’re now developing within this architecture and allowing our team the space to get a handle on how to properly architect the product, as well as understand the technology and the functional redesign that is being put out to customers. The platform is currently in beta testing.
What is the team composition?
We’ve had up to three resources working with us at one time: two developers and one QA-oriented person. There are currently two people working with us. The project manager and scrum master are in-house.
How did you come to work with Cyntexa?
Through Upwork, we were searching for offshore resources to work on a project via staff augmentation.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $250,000–$500,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2019 and it is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Customers are giving great feedback about our new product. In this new architecture, some of the delivered features create a more appealing product with more satisfying use cases, resulting in more revenue.
How did Cyntexa perform from a project management standpoint?
Cyntexa's resources are integrated into our project management and communication tools. We use all the standard Agile processes for project management, including GitScrum, GitRepo, GitHub and supporting infrastructure. We also use ProQuest, Slack, Google Drive, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re good at focusing on what their customer wants and being flexible and adaptable to the customer’s needs over the course of the project. They work seamlessly as part of the team, which is a powerful asset.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To benefit their business overall, they need to embrace Git and the Agile process. In my experience, it isn’t common for offshore developers to work in the same way that stateside developers work. Cyntexa didn’t necessarily work with Git and Agile the way we do when we started this collaboration; however, they were willing to learn quickly and follow our standards.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get to know the individual resources, not just the company. Make sure they’re a culture fit to you and your project, they have the skills, and they use the tools you bring to the table.

Cyntexa designed a web portal for an employee benefits company. Integrating Salesforce and security systems, they were able to automate several processes, provide live feeds to clients, and automate emails.
Clients provided positive feedback on the portal. By streamlining processes, the benefits company can take on more work. Cyntexa’s development team worked closely with partners to meet all project requirements and made changes when necessary.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of DGS Employee Benefits based in St Albans, UK. We consult on a range of options for our clients setting up employee benefits packages.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Cyntexa?
We hired Cyntexa off the back of a smaller project which went really well and decided to give them a go on this much bigger project. We asked them to build an online platform for us whereby employees would be able to access their benefits online and make changes to those benefits.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to create a product that was simple to set up and reasonably priced so that our clients would have no objection to implementing the system and paying for it. It needed to be really easy to use and easy to develop in the future.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We used Cyntexa for a different project which went really well, so decided to give them a go on this one. They are experts on Salesforce and this is what we wanted to develop and they told us that they could do what we were asking.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They designed our online portal and worked from a detailed spec we provided them to create the portal. There were moments where we needed to work around something that wasn't possible to develop, but they were all good work arounds and these guys really do like to deliver on what they have promised. There are things that Salesforce can do that I didn't even dream would be possible - automating processes - providing live feeds to the client - automating emails under certain situations and integration with security systems.
What was the team composition?
The range of skills required meant that Cyntexa had to use a number of people from their team to successfully deliver the project. In the end there were at least 5 developers that worked on this project, each with their own skills to bring to the project. They certainly had a range of skill sets to offer which really helped when we faced an obstacle. They could ask their team to chip in.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project completed on time. We have showcased the portal to our clients and it is going down really well with our clients. The cost of building the portal was not excessive and so we have priced the portal lower than we thought which is also going down really well. The portal allows us to cut out a lot of process for us and our clients and so we can now take on more client work without needing to recruit extra staff. The costs of the project are likely to be recovered within months.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The hardest part of the project was specing out what was required - this can't really be delegated so it takes a senior person to come up with what is needed (which was me) and to give this really good thought to ensure that you son't trip yourself up later! The developers are well equipped to build anything you like but if you get the spec wrong then that part might need to be re worked. There were a couple of areas where I went down the wrong path, but we could easily undo this. So literally I would send a spec to the developers and within a few days that spec would be completed, I would then check that it worked make changes and then move on to the next part of the project. I would ask team members to chip in from time to time to test that the system was doing what they would want.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Definitely the range of skills - it is not like all employees just know Salesforce - some were able to solve other problems that were not related to the project that I hired them for. In addition, extremely dedicated to the project - they worked on this project just as hard as I did, so it felt great that progress was made at such a pace.
Are there any areas for improvement?
None that I can think of - really happy.

What was the team composition?
I mostly interfaced with Vaibhav Vyas, Business Development Manager for Cyntexa. Sometimes I would speak with Sonyia (developer).
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Our customers came to us wanting VerifyTX to integrate with their Salesforce org. Instead of doing custom integrations for each customer, we decided to build an app on the Salesforce app exchange, and allow the customer to implement it into their org. We will subcontract implementation when they customer does not have someone in-house for implementation. Cyntexa provides Salesforce development services for a mortgage lender. They write code and develop custom solutions. Now, they’re engaged for the next phase of building sequential flows.
Internal feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Cyntexa's expert team inspires confidence throughout the project by communicating clearly from the start. Responsiveness and the ability to turn constructive feedback into implementable, on-time deliverables are hallmarks of their work.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of AccoLend. We’re a mortgage lender and broker. We operate in a private lending space for short-term loans for real estate developers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyntexa?
Salesforce is the platform for our lending business. We hired a person that has experience in Salesforce programming to lead the effort, but then we also needed to hire developers.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cyntexa provides developers to help us with our Salesforce rollout. What we wanted to build isn’t a standard Salesforce solution. They pretty much coded the whole thing for us. They build all sorts of interfaces and establish how each of the different interfaces works and connects with each other. Nothing is off-the-shelf. They build pieces for us and then put it all together.
When we started the engagement, we thought we'd be done in two months. Cyntexa has been able to allocate additional resources as the project continued to grow in complexity. Now that the system is working, we're moving to the next stage. They’ll bring on different developers that specialize in building sequential flows.
What is the team composition?
We have one main person that coordinates between us and the developers. At any point in time, we work with between 2–4 people.
How did you come to work with Cyntexa?
We had conversations with 6–7 companies. Cyntexa’s clarity of communication made them stand out. They're very knowledgeable. If I had a technical question, they got the developer on the phone to explain it.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve probably spent $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Work began in March 2019 and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The system is spectacular. They delivered a prototype that functions very well. Right now we're rolling it out to our team. We're testing it and it's all working. That’s the number one measure of success for us. We could not be happier with Cyntexa’s work.
How did Cyntexa perform from a project management standpoint?
They couldn't be better. Cyntexa has been absolutely great in terms of delivering a quality product on time. They tell us how they can build custom pieces for us, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. They’re pretty much always right on target. Everything is incredibly transparent. It's been great from a project management perspective because it’s a surprisingly simple process.
In addition, Cyntexa’s communication is amazing. We use Zoom and Skype. Our main contact speaks absolutely fluent English, and the other developers speak quite good English as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Cyntexa can handle many different aspects of Salesforce. They can bring Salesforce database specialists or Salesforce administrators in addition to front- and backend developers. They’re also able to scale up and down as needed. They continue to deliver on time and their costs are very sensible. We can’t ask for anything more than that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To be honest, I don't think so. They’re doing exactly what we’re asking them to do. Cyntexa is the second developer team that we’ve used and the difference is staggering.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them a chance and you will not regret it. Cyntexa is honest if something doesn't work. You can give them complicated problems to solve, and they’ll come back with a solution. We really challenged them and they responded.
