Convert.ai collected data on our ideal target customers, refining the targets over time, and then reached out to set appointments for our team to take. They ran the hard part of the cusotmer discovery process and delivered qualified, confirmed meetings to our team.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Booked and executed customer discovery meetings were our primary metric in evaluating the success of the program. While some early leads were not as on-target as we hoped, we were able to use their systems to see the how we were targeting wrong, and improve them over time. The team at Convert helped us every step of the way to get through the process as efficiently as possible. The early targeting really helped our company center in on the issues we didn't know existed in our prevous approach.

Everything delivered on time and accurately. Nothing fell through the cracks, ever. It was easy to get ahold of the team, and their response times were always extremely fast.

They were able to reduce the time and cost of our process by nearly 50% for our needs. They could also scale up and down or redirect efforts quickly when we needed to make changes. 

The ability to refine a pitch from meeting to meeting without being in the weeds constantly sending emails and LinkedIn messages really helped keep us sane.

No I don't think there is anything to improve, maybe post-mortem reporting of meetings or a centralized place where the data could be collected. We were using PipeDrive on our side, so maybe just an integration with a CRM? Either way our volume was not large enough for this to be an issue.

Meeting show-up rates started to decline as the program ages. Part of this was probably list fatigue, but they could've partnered with us closer or advised us better on what to do once the meeting was set. To be fair, they were great about getting meetings rebooked when there was a no-show, and those re-booked meetings did drive business.

We hired Convert AI to help delegate the function of reaching out to potential sales leads, who in this case are Marketing VP's and Senior Marketing Directors at 50-100+ headcount companies. Onboarding took a few days, where we outlined the exact customer segment we want as future customers. 

We also answered a detailed questionnaire providing more context about our solution and the pain points we address. They drafted up effective copy for us and used that to execute the outbound playbook for us. We received a regular report outlining their progress, which helped us learn what resonated with our audience.

1000s of new contacts engaged monthly, and a solid chunk of them agreed to Zoom demos with our sales team. We averaged a demo per day after a couple months of initial ramp, on the order of 4-6 per week. Some of the enterprise logos we closed are recognizable, which is a definite plus.

Convert has been a fantastic partner in terms of both quantity and quality. They fill our 3 person sales team's calendars with intro calls. The intro call held rate is significantly higher than industry averages for appointments set via cold outbound lead gen; the clients we have closed through this channel have been impressive - we have landed some of our biggest deals and most recognizable logos through this lead channel. 

The overall ROI on our partnership has ranged from 4x to 8x. They are proactive, took the time to really understand our business and target customer. They require very little management and are extremely responsive.

We brought this team on to spearhead our first foray into cold outreach as a company. We were nervous about our reputation and quite convinced the ROI wouldn't be there, but needed to try something, and Chris' team came highly recommended. Chris and his team established initial messaging for the campaign, and we then collaborated and refined it to reflect exactly what we were envisioning. His team then managed all of the outreach, appointment setting, and reporting, including the infrastructure to make that happen. 

Over the course of the engagement, I saw meaningful steps to improve their offering and service level with us, and a real intention to treat us well and deliver something solid. We've reengaged them this year, and it's quite impressive how much they've improved in just that time. And to be clear, their impact was already strong when we first engaged them.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While the full impact of the work remains to be seen, we generated ~$30,000+ in new revenue and much more in potential opportunities we continue to work on closing as sales cycles can be especially long. Chris and his team helped secure over 200 meetings between October and April, and I believe our ROI would've been stronger had our positioning/offering been stronger, and the conditions of the market more ideal, which we can't fault them for. We have also refined our targeting for this new campaign, and that seems to be paying dividends and helping us avoid unqualified or 'go nowhere' meetings.

This markedly improved with time. Deliverables were executed and delivered on time, and we were kept in the loop as the projects progressed. There were moments we weren't totally sure we were being heard or what was going on with the account, and Chris was quick to step in and help rectify those issues. Now that we've reengaged, it's VERY clear this has been an area of focus and improvement for Convert, as the service level has dramatically improved even beyond the 'good' level it was last time, and my confidence and satisfaction continues to increase.
