I found Betta Creates via google search and once I found Rebecca's site, knew I'd found the right person to work with. (We had already tried unsuccessfully with a few other folks.)

Work with myself and the founder to co-develop a logo and branding kit that spoke to our vision for the space. We will be using it for our social media, website, deck, and other materials and paraphernalia. We had a lot of back and forth and we were very particular.

Rebecca was EXTREMELY accommodating, communicative, helpful, and gave us many options to work with. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and did a GREAT job with the project.

We only worked with Rebecca. I think she is the owner and designer. She was lovely to work with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a great logo we absolutely love and a branding kit to match. We even paid for additional options because we couldn't decide between the ones she sent us. We are so happy with the final product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective. Rebecca was super responsive and communicative and finished the project quicker than expected. Her intake system (a form) was also a great way for us to get her up to speed on what we wanted from our experience working with her and certainly is part of the reason she is so efficient.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

She is really talented, communicative, patient, and flexible. She did excellent work.

I am the operations manager at a packaging company. We are a full service packaging company that specializes in custom shipping and product boxes for eCommerce companies.

We are a subsidiary of another company, therefore we needed a logo for our launch. We hired Rebecca from Betta Creates to design our logo from scratch.

As a new company, we needed a brand identity as well as a logo for our website, business cards, promotional products, samples and so on.

How did you select Betta Creates?

We found Betta Creates through her Instagram page. She was highly recommended by several artists and after checking out her instagram and portfolio, we knew that her style is exactly what we were looking for.

Describe the project in detail.

The process was very seamless with Rebecca. We provided her with a general direction/art style that we were looking for. In addition, we provided her with several colors and example pictures that we liked.

Based on that, she was able to create a mood board with mock up drawings and color palettes. After narrowing down our options, Rebecca started her final illustration.

She used feedback from us during this process to add/remove certain features and minor changes until we reached the final design.

On our end, our team consisted of the owner of the company and myself. The only person we spoke to at Betta Creates was Rebecca.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have received an overwhelmingly positive response to our new logo through our website, email signature, business cards, and so on. As a new company, we feel that this logo has given our clients a fantastic first impression of our brand and company.

Rebecca's workflow was outstanding. She would frequently send us daily updates on her progress, she would regularly ask for feedback and implement it that same day. She was always extremely quick to respond via email and there were zero issues as far as communication goes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The responsiveness of Betta Creates is what stood out the most to me. Rebecca regularly responded within a few minutes via email, with the latest responses being 1-2 hours later.

She was extremely professional throughout the whole process, very kind, welcoming to suggestions and corrections, and very accommodating to requests.

I am Jessica Vittorio, the owner of Lexi Agape Soap Company. I create small batch, hand crafted soaps that are produced using the cold-process method. The focus of our brand is marrying the sense memory associated with language and fragrance.

I wanted something unique and that would tell a story for our company. The goal was to have a logo with text and an icon that could be used together or separately and would work in a variety of mediums.

I found her advertised on Upwork. After looking through many designer portfolios I felt as if her aesthetic spoke to me and what I was trying to achieve with my brand.

Betta Creates laid out in great detail what the design process would look like. We started with an in depth questionnaire that helped to educate her on my goals and branding. Next we created a mood board together that would set the tone for first round of design. After all was discussed at length we moved onto the creation phase of the logo sketches. Once an idea was settled on we polished it up and finished with color.

We are launching our business in the next month or so. So far the feedback on the design has been very positive. nI already have potential customers excited for what is coming. All based on a stellar logo design.

Betta Creates set forth a very easy plan of attack and followed it so that you knew what to expect and what each step would entail.

I appreciate her patience and understanding that she isn't working with designers. She took the time to send examples and explain clearly how she would be able to achieve our goals without talking down to me. Together we were able to do just that and I am thrilled with the results.

Restore Justice advocates for fairness, humanity, and compassion throughout the Illinois criminal justice system, with a primary focus on those affected by extreme sentences imposed on our youth.

We create and support policies that allow those who are rehabilitated to go home, and that ensure those incarcerated, their families, and victim families have opportunities for healing and justice. We engage currently and formerly incarcerated individuals and their families, victims and their families, communities and concerned Illinoisans in advocacy and service within the criminal justice system.

She created a design to help support a current campaign to increase the number of individuals being released early from prison due to COVID-19 in Illinois.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase knowledge and support for early releases. This project helped bring awareness to the issue.

She has done amazing work in the past and we felt that her design style would align with the ideas we had in mind.

I provided her with ideas, and within less than 24 hours I was provided with a first design. It already looked amazing, and just needed a few minor changes within the font design. She was easy to relay this information to and make the changes quickly.

It was just Rebecca and I working on the project. I was able to share the design with the rest of my team once it was completed and they loved it.

Her design helped spread awareness on our campaign and we were able to get more signatures to the Governor of Illinois.

My IT consultant helped me search online for an experienced designer with a proven track record. After looking at several candidates we selected our top three and posed some questions about their process. We were impressed with Rebecca’s prior work and her process.

Rebecca sent us a short questionnaire asking about my style, and color preferences, and what I wanted to convey. She promptly sent a series of draft logos and solicited my input. She made modifications until we got the right one. We went through the same process with each deliverable.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I will be opening my new law practice on July 1. I’m very happy with the design work and I will be able to start with confidence that the design work met my goals.

Rebecca produced her designs faster than I expected. The entire project was finished quickly. The only delays were caused by me not responding to her equally as promptly.

There was an accounting hiccup because I made a payment based on an email from Rebecca showing her charges before an invoice was sent. The payment was initially treated as a bonus, but was rectified quickly.

Very organized and detail oriented yet not, overwhelming at all. Communication method was up to whatever I preferred and I never felt as if there was anything I didn't understand throughout the process. Timeliness was also spot on, as long as I submitted my feedback during each round of the process my project moved along very quickly.

Brand identity, logo creation and website development are all things I know are needed, but even have a marketing background the physical thought of the creation processes is overwhelming when you don't employee an in-house highly skilled designer!

After initially getting in contact with Betta Creates, we hopped into a zoom call and I was able to describe the project to her in detail. We then received a design board where we were able to pick and choose the style, color, and font. Within a few days, we received the concepts and we were extremely pleased. After choosing the logo we liked the most, finalizing the project was as simple as a few emails back and forth to tweak minor details.

The limited number of revisions made us a bit nervous to change any design aspects, however, we ended up not needing more than the initial 3.
