The key deliverables included a fully functional web application, documentation, and ongoing support during the project lifecycle.

Overall, my experience with Codeus was excellent. If I were to suggest any area for improvement, it would be to further enhance their internal documentation and knowledge-sharing processes to make onboarding new team members even smoother. However, this is a minor point compared to the overall quality and reliability they consistently delivered.

He also manages server-related tasks in coordination with our hosting provider, such as maintaining SSL certificates and ensuring overall site reliability, uptime, and compliance with best practices.

Codeus managed PartnerMATCH using a lightweight Agile process, breaking the work into two-week sprints tracked in Jira and reinforced by weekly sprint planning, daily stand-ups (via overlapping US–Montenegro time windows), and bi-weekly sprint reviews with live demos. All planned deliverables—UI components, API endpoints, matching-engine iterations, test suites, and deployment pipelines—were completed on schedule, and in fact the production release shipped two weeks ahead of the original timeline.

They were highly responsive to our evolving needs: change requests (like the unplanned administrative dashboard) were scoped, estimated, and slotted into upcoming sprints within 24–48 hours; urgent bug fixes were triaged and resolved within a business day; and architectural recommendations (caching strategies, service modularization, security hardening) were proposed proactively. Throughout, communication channels (Slack for real-time chat, Confluence for documentation, and regular video check-ins) remained open and transparent, ensuring that any question or issue was addressed immediately and without friction.

Codeus' project management is very professional. We asked them to formulate a timeline for the work we requested, and they've adhered to it. On a few occasions, there have been overruns, which Codeus has highlighted well in advance. The team communicates daily on their activities and progress, asks the right questions at the right time, and offers their opinions when opportune. We primarily communicate via Google Chat.
