R1: CodersLink provides us with technical resources, specifically software providers, who work with us as part of our team. In particular, there's one software developer from CodersLink who has been working for us for many years — he was here when I joined the company.
When I joined, CodersLink was well aware of us as a company, what we did, and the type of resources we were looking for because they already had this long-term developer working as part of our team for many years. Now, we're already in talks with CodersLink about getting a team from them to do other projects. We're in the middle of asking them for a couple more resources to add to our team on a full-time long-term basis.
If we need new resources, we can have a small conversation with CodersLink — even with the CEO — and let them know what we're thinking and looking for. Then, they start searching for the resources we need. For every request, we put together a job description.
A big part of what CodersLink provides us with are .NET and C# developers. We also use JavaScript, especially React, as well as Python and Node.js. Although we currently don't have resources from CodersLink working with those technologies yet, those are the possibilities we have.

R1: We currently have one developer from CodersLink who has been working for us for four years. Now, we're putting information together to request 1–3 new developers. Additionally, there are two main people on CodersLink's side who help us with finding candidates. One of them is the CEO, and the other is a sales representative/customer liaison who works a lot with us as well.
R2: I've also been talking with another teammate from CodersLink in charge of the scheduling. She's responsible for organizing and facilitating the developer's meetings with me. In total, there are three teammates from CodersLink communicating with me.

Moreover, whenever we have quarterly sync-ups, Jesus is the one who sets them up and makes sure we're on the same page about what they can do for us and where we're going. This way, we van all brainstorm possible futures.

They’re willing to work with whatever I need. I’m completely inundated with stuff on a day-to-day basis. Coderslink is there for me when I need them, but they’re not there all the time. We meet once a week to stay on top of the candidate pool. The person I work with is new but hungry to learn, and having that brainpower is huge. I can talk to him about what’s worked and hasn’t worked for me in the past, and he shifts accordingly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When COVID-19 hit, Coderslink was one of the first vendors to offer us a discount because they wanted to continue working with us. I really liked that they reached out to us right away. I felt like they would be our partner forever because of that.
They also have really nice people on top of it. From every part of the experience, I’ve just had a good feeling.

We hire junior and senior developers from CodersLink that work under our developers. They’ve worked on dozens of projects for us, using whatever technologies we need. We’re currently building an extract, transform, and load (ETL) solution.

We’ve hired five individuals from them in total. We currently work with only one.
How did you come to work with CodersLink?
We were referred over to them when our company moved to San Antonio. Once we were introduced, we hit it off with their leadership. Once we hired two people, we saw they do great work.

We’ve spent between $100,000–$250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The partnership started at the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017. We still work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CodersLink’s developers are loyal and extremely dedicated to what they do. They’ve done a great job with all our projects; we’ve never had an issue with them. There are sometimes delayed deadlines, but that’s common in tech and development. We haven’t had a failed project of the many dozens we’ve done. Our CTOs are pleased with their developers and quality of work, especially considering the cost.
How did CodersLink perform from a project management standpoint?
We have our own project management tools like Azure, Atlassian, and Jira. CodersLink has been comfortable with all of them without issue. We never hired anyone as leadership to fill positions; we hired them to work under our individuals. They’re always willing to train, to listen, and execute what we need.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The individuals from CodersLink work hard. I don’t know many people who work as hard as them. They’re extremely dedicated, loyal, and excited to work on specific projects. Their younger developers are creative; not only did they do what we expected, but they also provided insights and suggestions to make our solution better.
It’s always a pleasant experience to work with their leadership and resources. We’ve never gone a single month without a developer from CodersLink.
Are there any areas they could improve?
CodersLink is good at doing exactly what we want, but what we want may not be what’s best for us. We’re not super tech-savvy and could us their insights on how things can be better. I’d encourage them to step up and become leaders this way.

I’m the VP of business operations for a network security company. We have an array of consumer business solutions that deliver secure, open access to files, websites, software, and media.

What challenge were you trying to address with CodersLink?
We’ve had an ongoing relationship with them. Over two years ago, we identified some strategic initiatives in Guadalajara, and that’s how we got in contact with them. Since then, we’ve grown from two to over 35 employees in Mexico, almost entirely with the help of CodersLink.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
There have been two main segments. In the beginning, it was HR, recruitment, and overhead services. They sourced candidates for us, coordinated interviews, and worked with our team to identify great candidates. Once we were satisfied with a candidate, we extended an offer. From there, CodersLink handled monthly payments, payroll, and HR-related activities. After 18 months, we converted the employees to full-time employees and CoderLink has continued to provide recruitment services.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The main outcome is growing the team so much in only two years. One of the best things has been their ability to adapt to our business needs. Obviously, when we got started, it wasn’t exactly a great fit, but they’ve worked closely with us to understand recruitment needs, what hiring managers need, and other things. It’s been a learning process, and they’ve done an exceptional job at learning.
How did CodersLink perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good. In some ways, things have slipped, but we’ve hit it in other ways so I would just say good.
Communication has been excellent. The CEO is ready to jump into communications at any time. We do a quarterly business review with him as well. Their team leads and recruitment leads make sure we’re up to do date on information for and about candidates. We exclusively speak over email or in-person.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their personnel distinguishes them from other companies. They’re dedicated and committed to recruiting and the individuals they work with. They’ve gone above and beyond multiple times in helping us covering HR processes, whether with payroll or timelines.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’ve shared information with them in the past, but I don’t have anything to say now.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be as transparent as possible. As you go through the recruitment process, be brutally honest with their recruiters about what you’re looking for. Learning is one of their best traits, so you need to give them information to learn from.
