I am a Manager at Buildern and we have developed a construction project management platform that is designed for homes and commercial construction companies.

For what projects/services did your company hire CodeInno, and what were your goals?

We wanted to solve the issues of many construction companies by providing a software which will allow them to automate workflows by using our project management tool. Our main goal was to get a platform that will provide various digital solutions and tools to many construction companies and homebuilders to manage various construction process and handle the entire workflow.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have found Codeinno after long research. We wanted a partner that will understand our goal and come up with innovative ideas that will bring this platform to life. We wanted to hire someone who not only has a great professional team but also a company that will share the ideas and mission we want to deliver to our clients.

After a few video calls with the company representatives, we sure that we found the best company that would deliver the results we initially had in mind. And we were not wrong.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

At first, we had several team meetings with the project managers and the software architects of the company to define the scope of our project and understand how we should start everything. We started with the discovery phase and the project management team provided an informative and thoroughly detailed PRD.

After confirming the details in the PRD, the team has started with the design of the platform. We had the chance to choose from several options of the initial design and later improved the one we picked. The team was very helpful and insightful throughout the entire development process. The project was divided into sprints and we were updated about the changes and additions of the process every 2 weeks.

Throughout the entire process, not only we were provided by the information of the development process, but we also get a chance to have business-driven ideas thanks to which we significantly improved the features of our platform. Starting from the very beginning of the project, the team has shown exceptional approach to us and the platform.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team working on the project consisted of 10 specialists: PM, 2 Designers, 2 Senior software developers, 3 mid Software developers, and 2 QA. Along the way, we were also in touch with the software architect, who provided very insightful suggestions to improve the entire workflow.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We managed to launch the MVP sooner than we initially anticipated. Within the first few months we managed to reduce the errors and bugs by over 80%, which is a great achievement.

After around 6 months we already had the main features on the platform that we thought we could get in a year. So we were stunned to see that this kind of great results were achieved in a short period of time. We were so thrilled with the results that Codeinno gave us that we decided to continue working with them and develop the platform even further.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management was at its finest. We had our PM dedicated to our project. They regularly updated us about the changes and additions, and they were always in touch in case we had any urgent comments or remarks. They were very flexible with the communication tools we used, which made the communication process faster and easier. The main tools we used for communication and task management were Slack, Jira, and Trello.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were added to all the tools and platforms that the team used throughout the process for our project. This way we were in direct contact with the entire development team, which actually made it much easier to communicate and get the answers to our questions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There's nothing that I could highlight, which could have helped the team deliver better results than we already got. Their approach and skill set were exceptional, and we are happy with the quality of work they provided

I am the co-founder and CTO of an edtech company. As digital learning experts, we create interactive learning media and blended learning scenarios: From conception to development and implementation.

As teachers and experts in digital learning, we want to provide students with a way to easily and quickly sign up for various e-learning services. We hired CodeInne to support us in this project with their expertise and to develop the respective web app. We hope to build up a large user base by the end of the year, which will trust in our service.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for web developers and compared several companies. In the end we had 3 possible candidates to choose from. After an extensive evaluation process and interviews, we chose CodeInno based on their quick understanding of our product, their skills, their cost estimation and most importantly their suggestion on how to make the project successful.

We created extensive product documentation with flowcharts and screen designs in advance. Based on this document, we held a kick-off meeting to discuss our requirements and goals. CodeInno then defined the individual work steps and milestones. Based on this, the development process started in the form of two-week sprints. At the end of each sprint a demo version was deployed. Based on our feedback, work steps were then adjusted if necessary.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main contact is a project manager with whom everything is discussed during the process. His work is supported by a second product manager. Two full-stack developers work behind the scene.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The product is not yet fully developed, so we cannot share measurable results yet. However, tests have shown that the sign-up process for e-learning services is significantly faster.

We hold weekly or bi-weekly calls to exchange information on the current status, discuss the further roadmap and clarify any questions and problems. Our communication took place via Slack and Google Meet. For project coordination, we use Jira and Figma to share screen designs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The people from CodeInno have the claim to deliver the highest quality, and they fulfill this. They take our ideas and implement them as we wish. In doing so, they do not try to dissuade us from our path, but try to implement our vision as accurately as possible. However, they think along with us at all times and thus prevent the development of flawed elements and incomplete processes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My only request would be more visibility, like a tool to show status. But otherwise no.

I'm the Director of Supply Chain for FlashCo manufacturing. We are a roofing accessory manufacturing with 8 locations across the US.

We hired CodeInno to build a custom web based scheduling tool that integrated with our ERP system. We had a lot of user friendly requests to allow a quick intuitive interface to schedule production orders on our floor. This was used to support all 8 sites and needed to be able to operate with schedulers off site.

We interviewed a number of companies and looked for similar projects they built. CodeInno asked very relevant questions from the onset and led us to believe they would be a good partner.

We broke our project into 2 phases. The initial build and then integration into our ERP system. The initial build was timely, very responsive and adjusted based on our feedback. The integration was just as smooth- Good feedback, good communication, exceeded expectations.

We just worked with Hmayak as our project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

While we don't have specific KPI's to measure the success, our team is much more productive because of the tools built.

We had several conversations initially and then let them work. We touched based every few days to ensure timeliness and they communicated any issues. Overall, the team is great at meeting deadlines and communicating in the workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They rarely pushed back on our requests. They were very accommodating and built what we agreed to and requested. Several others continue to push us down their preferred path- this was not that case here.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My only request would be more visibility, like a tool to show status. But otherwise no.
