We are working on an internal tool for sales team members, to help them prepare their meetings with the right sales content.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for great engineers to augment our current team. Deciding factors were price competitiveness and quality of the work

As a part of our scrum team, they created a huge value in building the product, by taking mainly care of the logic of the product and supported on the front end. They are really good in scrum/agile and were creating a lot of value in our grooming ceremonies for instance, flagging dependencies and potential risks.

I wasn't part of the recruitment team at that stage so I can't really comment on this. But I know that it was pretty smooth and they are always showing a lot of flexibility

We delivered the expected features on time, with an amazing quality.

Really good, they were part of our team and it didn't feel we were working with a vendor. They very quicky adjusted to our ways of doing things

We are impressed with their engineers' high-quality work.

Sometimes showing a bit more flexibility in dealing with the end clients and their tech team.

I'm a technical lead at IT services provider, where we work on creating mobile applications for our clients. We are a global company with locations across the globe.

For what projects/services did your company hire Cloudsail Digital Solutions, and what were your goals?

We hired Cloudsail to build a mobile application for one of our clients, which would increase the productivity of their salesforce team. The application leverages content approved by the compliance team with an additional system of permissions for sharing content. It integrates with an internal, custom CRM application and provides additional analytics to the client.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

My company has worked with Cloudsail on another project in the past. We chose them because of their technical expertise, experience in Cloud development, and their business-oriented approach.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

This project included a mobile application written in Typescript with the framework React Native. It has been build 'the agile way' in 2-week sprints, which also included smaller deliverables in form of partial functionalities.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Two Senior Software Engineers from the vendor's team were working on the project. Both were world-class engineers with great business sense and were able to provide consultancy in other areas of the project. The team focused on working with us and our end-client to understand the core issues, that the application was trying to tackle. Their technical expertise and business-oriented approach were the key factors in communication.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The deliverables and the project were done on time with additional time for changes. The team was very open to changes, even to content, that has been first approved in design sprints/reviews. We had the feeling, that the team was focused on our success.

Cloudsail works in a very business-oriented way. Their approach is based on their technical expertise mixed with a business-oriented approach, which focuses not only on the technical solution but also the problems of the business, that the solutions are trying to address. We worked together in an agile way with additional mid-sprint calls to react to unexpected requests from the end client. The team communicated clearly and expressed their concerns openly, which resulted in smooth communication with the end client.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team approached everything very humbly, but not too humbly. They were not shy about communicating directly with the end client, being one of the biggest investment banks in the world. They spoke their minds through the collaboration and quickly understood the issues we're trying to solve.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was ok and definitely, we will work with them in the future.

We hired Cloudsail because we needed short-time support in the software development of a web platform. We needed support building features for an existing project asap. Their task was to support us in the backend team using AWS.

We selected Cloudsail because they provide exactly the tech-stack we needed (AWS CDK). The onboarding was fast because they use the tech-stack all the time. We found them using LinkedIn.

The project was part of an existing customer project. We needed to provide several features within a strict deadline. To achieve this goal, we divided the project into smaller parts. The goal of Cloudsail was to support us on the backend side. They implemented features in the API using infrastructure-as-code on AWS.

They provided two backend developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Together with Cloudsail we could implement all features within the defined time. Our customer had a management presentation and they were really happy. The management decided to continue the development and in the future, they may also want a mobile app as an addition to the web platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It felt like they were part of our team. I was surprised by the excellent communication. Cloudsail Digital Solutions was professional and reliable.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They could not only work as a part of our team, but they also provided additional skills which were extremely useful. They refactored AWS code and helped us to improve the skills of our team.

Cloudsail took time through a Discovery call to understand our current situation and needs. Once they understood what was required from us, they got to work immediately to make changes. In this process, Cloudsail were very responsive, customer-focused and professional.

The backend upgrades were successful. The changes were important for 360 and the user experience we create for clients. So, we are very happy with the execution by Cloudsail.

I found this vendor through the referral.Deciding factors were: quality and vendor's portfolio.

First I was asked a series of questions, so vendor will be familiar with the work I am usually doing, I also walked them through how I have my environments set up. After that I was offered recommendations on how to improve certain areas and was trained of the functionalities and AWS products I was not familiar with or not used them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I definitely feel more knowledgable than I was before, I got to know new areas of AWS and how to use them effectively to meet my clients' goals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

What was great it was their availability and readiness to work on unregular timeline, it felt less like doing business with the other company but more like learning from the more experienced colleagues. Every deadline was met and there were no issues with how the project went.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Regardless of the team being small, they were very experienced and they leveraged their previous experience by providing recommendations and backing them up with real-life examples.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, as far as my project went I was extremely satisfied.
