BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Marketing Manager for a Bev-Alc brand that primarily focuses on the production and distribution of Hard Cider products among many others.

For what projects/services did your company hire Cintri?

We host an annual music festival on our grounds, hosting fans from around the country, right in our own back yard. Cintri was tasked with filming setup of the vent, various consumer and VIP elements of the event, as well as the core of the event being a music festival with food trucks, cold beverages, games and other entertainment.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with Cintri on two projects prior to this one, and were too impressed with their work to not reach out to them for this project. We needed an agency that knew how to film a festival and provide us with a night-of deliverable. Knowing Cintri's ability to properly scale their crew size and operation to the project size, it was really a no brainer for us. They brought in two experienced videographers along with one editor which allowed them to be nimble and fast acting throughout their entire time on site. We knew that they could produce a quality asset in the short time they were given.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

This event that we host is unique in the sense that there arent really too many other beverage brands, let alone bev-alc brands that have the capacity to put on a show like this. It's essentially become part of our brand and is something that our fans look forward to each year. With it being such a key moment for us, we need to capture content around the event to showcase it in the best light possible. Cintri was tasked with providing us with three specific deliverables.

Those being, a short recap to be delivered night of, a set of edited photos, and a longer-form recap video. These videos would serve as a thank you to the fans that attended, as a means of showcasing the event to people who did not attend, as well as a means of promo for the even in the coming year. Cintri arrived the day prior to capture event setup as well as welcome events for VIPs, allowing us to showcase every element of the event.

Day of, they had already showed up to the site with pre-built animated transitions that were derived from our event logo, allowing them to add their touch to the video while saving time in the editing process. What was asked of them was a 15-second video, and by the close of the event, we were handed a one-minute cut, allowing us to showcase the event day in its entirety- Cintri's typical "above and beyond" mentality.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Cintri brought a crew of three- Evan schwartz (founder) being our designated editor, while two other videographers captured and dumped footage to Evan continuously throughout the event. Evan was at the helm, whether it as asking for particular shots from his crew, coordinating timing over radio, showcasing the current video timeline to his key contacts with the brand, Evan never missed a beat, and neither did his crew of talented videographers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I can name a few- Cintri delivered a night of asset after hours of filming and editing. this allowed us to broadcast the video immediately the next day, which was our goal. Not to mention, this event recap was argualbly the best we've had throughout the six annual installments of the event. From the content, to the editing, animations and overall production quality, this project as a whole was a success, something can't always be said when tasked with delivering something within mere hours of the closure of the event they were tasked with filming. The video also outperformed most of our normal content found on the platforms that the event recap was posted on.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Seamless per usual. They show up with a plan, and like I said earlier, they took care of a lot of the digital elements beforehand to make sure they had time to really make a polished video that told the story of the day and not have to worry about adding textural elements during the bulk of the editing process.

Cintri is quickly becoming an extension of our portfolio of brands. They understand the look, feel and messaging behind our brands, they know who to reach out to with questions and feel comfortable doing so, and arent afraid to push back on things they feel strongly about as they pertain to providing us with quality assets.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their breadth and depth of experience in so many different realms stood out. All of this experience culminates into an extremely capable agency. They're not just a one-trick-pony. Not to mention, they're just down to earth people that communicate well from start to finish- something that may seem to be expected or to be a mundane quality, but it really does go a long way.

Their ability to adapt in live time is also a key component of their success. Time and time again, they come to the table with a full understanding of the project at hand and should things take a hard left turn for whatever reason, they know when and where to change things accordingly to ensure success.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While I think there is always room for improvement, I know that these guys understand this as well. Projects aside, I know from personal experience and conversation with these guys that they are always trying to learn more, trying to find ways to be better, and trying to find ways to become more capable as an agency while staying true to their vision.
