We wanted to create a mobile application for our customers in addition to the web service. Main target was to have a tool using which a person can see all the expenses and bills in one-two clicks. We contacted a number of potential contractors and had several meetings with them. We decided to work with Echizh as during the first 1-hour meeting with their team we received more answers and solutions to our needs than during a week of communications with other contractors.

Our backend engineers created Mobile App Requirements - a document that describes the work of an application and its integration with the backend. Then our frontend contractor with Echzh team participation created the design of the app.
The Echizh team developed the app during 6-8 weeks. As well they integrated it with our backend and frontend during that time. Finally, all together we tested all the features, fixed bugs and made a release in the App Store and Play Market. We used native languages for mobile apps for iOS and Android.

There were two developers, the Head of Mobile development department, and some participation of their designer. Their Project Manager and CEO were involved too.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have ~1500 users of iOS and more than 1000 of Android after two months. That's really good. We also see that this channel of communication is much more effective than others.

The main goal was to create an app in short terms because we wanted to launch it by the beginning of a new season. We also wanted to use our corporate design in the app and connect it with our online store.

After receiving feedback we had interviews with each company and finally we took into account experience and price of the project of every company. We liked Echihz company the most. At the moment we have more than 100 000 active users of the application. We increased the average check of the purchase. We chose the company very carefully, as we needed to find a web studio that would have an extensive portfolio with recognizable brands, the competence of specialists in the work and, of course, adequate deadlines.
It was also important for us that the ECHIZH company has 9 years of experience and approaches the creation of a web product in an integrated manner: from creating a website layout to promoting it with the help of a SEO.

The project implied the creation of a web service and a website for the campaign, which would help our company to attract more users and improve interaction with them on social networks. We set clear tasks for ECHIZH, which included: creating a unique website, a web service for uploading photos, a convenient system for publishing photos on social networks and the ability to choose a frame for a photo.
In addition, our company Kinder had a goal to preserve the original color and style, which also became a requirement in the development of design for the PC and mobile version of the site. It was important for us that the site was not only beautiful, but also workable, so that we set the task of performing a general optimization of the site. In the process, we got a website that has a simple, intuitive interface.

We made a research of app development companies and sent all of them busines requirements and technical specifications of our application. Then we selected several of those who offered the best price and had 1-2 live meetings with them to see if the team is really interested in our project.

We provided a detailed technical specification, which described all the functions and their details that we wanted to see in the application. In turn, the company Echizh suggested how to improve the interface, and what can be added.
While developing the app we had several changes in the project itself and faced some difficulties with API implementation but both our teams worked together and found solutions.

We have contacted three people from their team. CEO, project manager and designer. We didn’t work with developers directly. However, of course, we had accepted all the results at the sprint reviews and were always able to communicate with the software engineers when necessary.

The best outcome is our mobile application BeM2M. It is simple and easy to use. Everybody of our teammates likes it. And our customers are satisfied as well. Frankly speaking, I think we have one of the best apps for vehicles monitoring in the world nowadays.

It was really quick communication. We had scheduled meetings in our office and also calls at any time when it was really needed. In addition, we had Telegram and Skype chat to solve issues asap.

Apps were launched within 3 months. Since then we have increased number of our clients and users of our app. We had feedback from users and even have made an update of the app based on it. I can admit that our users and our team are fully satisfied by app usability and design.

It was extremely easy to communicate with project manager, team members and even CEO when we want to discuss any question. Mostly we used phone and messengers but it was not a problem to visit their office when we needed it. We used online services to track the project development. So I can tell they were very open to communication and our engagement to the app development.

My name is Anna, I`m CEO assistant and I am responsible for business development and spreading in Khvilya zdorov'ya. Our company provide water delivery service for homes and offices. We have more than 40 000 corporate and private clients.

What were your goals for this project?
The main task was to create an application that will allow our clients to make an order for water delivery making only one clic in the application. We also saw the possibility of reducing staff expenses, and several other business issues. Some of them are already implemented and some we still work on.

First of all, the project is ongoing. We have started with minimum of functions to understand what our clients want to have and would the app itself suitable for us. During a year we`ve made several updates of the first version of the app. Step by step we add and improve functions that are important for our business.
What was the team composition?
Usually, we work with project manager. We also had several meetings with their CEO, designer and developers when it was necessary. 6-7 people all together.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
From the very beginning we saw that more and more our clients prefer to use app for ordering water instead of using website or calling to our managers. At the moment we almost fully automatized the whole order-delivery process. During a year we lowered our staff expenses into 60%. We also implemented bonus system with rewards for inviting friends to use our service and it gives first new clients.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We worked using short splits to provide a new version of application to our clients, collect and process their feedback and create an improvement plan for next split. They were ready to start as soon as were finishing our part of work.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We got offers and recommendations from them not only about development, but also about promoting the app and promoting our services in common and about implementing the app into our business processes. They were fully involved in the cooperation, sometimes even more than our side.
