Paolo helped me build and launch a fully functional, visually aligned Shopify website for my skincare brand, Tallow Glow. The scope of work included setting up the entire Shopify backend, uploading all product listings with variations, customising the layout and theme to match my black-and-white brand aesthetic, integrating shipping options and payment gateways, and ensuring the site worked smoothly across desktop and mobile.

He also assisted with custom features like homepage banners, discount code set-up, product filtering, and linking to my external coaching guide. Paolo handled all the technical aspects while keeping me informed at every step — which was a huge help as I’m not very tech-savvy.

We’re continuing to work together for future updates, including product photography integration, marketing features, and ongoing maintenance. He’s been brilliant throughout.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most measurable outcome was the successful launch of my Shopify website, which is now live and fully operational. It allowed me to shift from taking orders manually through Instagram DMs to a streamlined e-commerce platform, which has already saved me time and made the customer experience more professional.

Within the first few days of launching, I received multiple orders through the new site, and customers have commented on how easy it is to navigate and use. I was also able to integrate a 15% launch discount, set up multiple UK shipping options, and begin onboarding affiliates — all through the new website infrastructure that Paolo set up.

The site now gives me room to scale the brand, and it’s built in a way that I can manage it with minimal tech knowledge, which has been a huge success for me personally.

Paolo’s project management was excellent from start to finish. He communicated clearly, kept me updated at every stage, and was always available to answer questions or make changes as needed. Even though we were working remotely (with him based in Sardinia and me in the UK), the communication felt smooth and consistent.

I really appreciated how flexible and supportive he was, especially when I needed extra guidance or wanted to tweak things last-minute. I’m the CEO of SocialModelBook, a media company that connects influencers and brands in a way where they are protected and brands can promote their products through influencers on the platform.

We needed help designing and developing our platform with good UI/UX.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BearSolutions has helped us with the frontend and backend development of our platform. The team has also worked on the database, payment processing, email notifications for orders, and process development.

Regarding the frontend features, BearSolutions has implemented core pages and routes, including the home page, influencer management, user dashboard, orders, received orders, favorites, reviews, checkout and payment, chat system, admin panel, and content pages. The team has also worked on components architecture, including influencer components, UI components, layout components, form components, and chat components.

BearSolutions has integrated Clerk for authentication with protected routes, Next.js image components with Supabase storage for image handling, Tailwind CSS for mobile-first responsive design, integrated location autocomplete for location search, image upload functionality for file uploads, and chat and notifications for real-time updates.

Regarding the backend features, BearSolutions has worked on database models using Prisma, including profiles, influencers, packages, orders, reviews, favorites, chats and messages, admin users, site settings, payment transactions, and page views. The team has also worked on core functionalities, including user authentication, influencer onboarding, package management, order processing, payment integration, chat system, review system, admin panel, location services, and file storage.

BearSolutions has used Next.js 15, Prisma ORM, Supabase, Clerk, Stripe, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Zod, and MDX as part of their technical stack. The team has also worked on additional features, including a moderation system, analytics, internationalization, SEO optimization, type safety, and error handling.
