Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the communications manager of a nonprofit that provides programs and services to children with complex disabilities. I manage the organization’s social media, press outreach, and website.

What challenge were you trying to address with BCS Interactive?

BCS Interactive provides three primary services: digital strategy, website support, and analytics review.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We use BCS Interactive’s services on a monthly basis. For website support, they help us solve critical issues. They’ve also provided us with a comprehensive analytics review. We meet once a month to review our numbers and website analytics. They then offer insights and suggestions on how our website can reach more users and increase traffic. 

During our monthly check-ins, we also talk about how we can use social media to link back to our website and what we can do with our blogs to bring in new people to the website.

I’ve been in touch with 2–3 teammates from BCS Interactive, including Lou (Co-Founder & CEO). 

How did you come to work with BCS Interactive?

The organization was already engaged with BCS Interactive when I started working there. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $12,000 per year on BCS Interactive’s services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started around January 2014, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

BCS Interactive has been truly helpful to us. It’s great to have a team that can provide support, especially for our website maintenance needs. If we want to make minor or major changes, or if the website goes down, the team will support us. Overall, having their support services has been truly beneficial for us. 

How did BCS Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been on time and budget. Their teammates are truly responsive, particularly when facing a big issue. They get back to us quickly; if we give them a deadline, the tasks are finished by that deadline. To communicate, we usually talk through email and Zoom. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

It’s great to work with Lou. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

BCS Interactive goes above and beyond to support our organization. When given the opportunity for a new project, they put their best foot forward. Overall, they’ve been doing a great job. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an idea of what you want and set up parameters on what you need. Apart from that, be open to ideas from BCS Interactive. They have a lot of experience working with nonprofits and schools and can easily translate that experience into a partnership.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Learned about our center, community, history of existing logo. Prepared a number of logos taking into consideration history, colors, what a logo communicates. Finally suggestions for launching the new logo.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Multiple logo suggestions that we could consider and turnaround to produce a final product that took into consideration feedback given.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Prompt email reply, scheduling meetings was easy, they asked who the point person internally would be, clear expectations from the outset about their timeline and deliverables.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They first wanted to learn about us and know about the organization and culture before really talking about the logo. They really listen and are very creative, responsive, and a true pleasure to work with everyone on their team.
