We asked Avy to redesign our brand in line with a new approach to our services as a SaaS base solution. We wanted our legacy colours to stay as part of the transition but needed a fresh modern design to reposition our brand for the future. In addition, we then required new product literature, presentation templates, business cards and quotation templates to be designed as part of the new brand package.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a brand that aligns with our future business goals and that leads the way in terms of its look when compared to peers in our sector.

Avy was very responsive and set clear deadlines for deliverables which were met. We had regular weekly updates where there was always clear progress to review and actions always followed up in a timely manner.

I am the director of Latitude IT. We are starting a new venture called TechSalaries, an aggregate salary website where users can look for salaried jobs in Australia.

What challenge were you trying to address with AVY Consultancy - Design & Digital Experiences?

We hired another agency to do branding for us but didn’t like the logo they developed. So, we hired AVY Consultancy to redesign our logo.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AVY Consultancy utilized our existing brand guidelines to draft a logo design that properly represented our company. We had an idea of what we were looking for: a technical-centric logo that reflected the technical salaries we showcased. From there, we provided them with a brief that highlighted the target market, the product, and other logos that my team and I liked. AVY Consultancy then provided us with an initial set of logos. We went through several logo variations until we decided on the final design.

I’d seen AVY Consultancy’s work on LinkedIn. From his portfolio, I could see that the AVY Consultancy team was creative and could think outside the box. They could take a good brief and translate it into a logo, which was exactly what we needed.

I worked with AVY Consultancy from October–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

AVY Consultancy created a simple and elegant logo that reflects our role in the IT space; it’s been well received by the IT community in Australia. The feedback from our clients has been very positive — everyone loves the design because it is intuitive and clean-looking.

AVY Consultancy had great project management. We usually communicated with them via email, and they were very responsive. They were never frustrated when we had design edits — every piece of design feedback was met with encouragement and enthusiasm. Avy was very good at guiding me towards what designs would work for my company and what wouldn’t. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

AVY Consultancy’s ability to evolve our logo was impressive. They didn’t just provide us with a few designs to choose from; the logo evolved over several iterations. Avy understood what we wanted, and if we weren’t 100% happy, he worked with us to reach an end goal we were happy with.

I don’t have anything for them to improve.

AVY Consultancy’s success rests on the customer’s input and research — I’d advise customers to provide AVY Consultancy’s team with a lot of information about their end goals.

We’re changing our department's name, so we needed someone to do branding for our it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AVY Design & Digital Experiences created logos along with other branding and creative work in our whole department. We initially met with them so they could understand what we were trying to do by learning our vision, story, and background to do what we needed — I respected their creative ability to come up with ideas.

After a circle of providing feedback and choosing designs and content, they made the final adjustments and ended up delivering the final product for us.

We worked directly with Avy (CEO), and he had the rest of his team working behind the scenes.

We chose them because we saw examples of their work online, and they seemed very creative.

We worked together from August–September 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to their work, our team was better positioned to take on our new changes and represent our team in a better way — our team’s brand and logo can now show who we are and what we do. Also, the final product was well received by stakeholders and other functional internal teams.

They were very professional and provided within the expected timelines. In addition to that, they were transparent when they came across some issues, which helped set our expectations right. Overall, they managed the project well, and I was happy with its outcome — they did what they said they’d do. In terms of tools, we only used emails to chat and share files.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

The will to go above and beyond our expectations was outstanding. They were focused on helping us and providing everything we needed to make it a successful project.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they were overall outstanding.

I mainly needed a logo and branding done for my company, both to use online and also in my grazing boxes.

I have seen Avy’s work before online and wanted something that was sleek and sophisticated for my branding and marketing.

Avy arranged a phone call with me to discuss in detail exactly what I was looking for. I then explained what Wild Honey will sell and how I wanted my logo to look. He asked me to send him some companies I found inspiring and other logos I liked to get a feel for what I was looking for.

I explained that I wanted something simple, sleek, sophisticated with a bit of fun, and who my target market was. After an in depth conversation, Avy designed several different logos for me, aswell as box designs, stickers and greaseproof paper to use inside the boxes. He gave me a lot of great choices and worked with me to design exactly what I wanted and what I felt worked best for me.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I haven’t fully set up my company yet so no.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great, Avy was fast with his responses and listened to everything I asked for. I was quite fussy with what I wanted but when I needed something adjusting, he would have no problem doing this for me. He tried many different fonts to make sure that I was happy with the end result. I was able to email and text him if I needed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed that Avy worked with me continuously until I had the exact logo I wanted. They listened to what I said and adjusted as much as they needed without any complaint until I was happy.

I’m a business support administrator for a company called Skewb, and we work within the utility industry to enhance other businesses.

We were sponsors for a British Water event, so we used AVY to design our marketing collateral.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AVY helped put together an A4 digital ad that described our company in a nutshell, and why we were excited about hosting the event. They also designed our rollup banners that were to be displayed near our stand.

We worked closely together with the founder of the company.

My colleagues previously worked with AVY, so they’ve got a great reputation — which is why we decided to work with them.

We were very satisfied with the final outputs that AVY delivered.

They performed well. They always made sure to meet every deadline that we set. We mainly communicated through Microsoft Teams.

We were very impressed with the level of care they put into each content. They cared about our company so they put all the information that was relatable to what we do.

I can’t think of anything they could improve on to be quite honest with you.

I would suggest going for it and trusting their service and delivery. I would highly recommend AVY because they understand what needs to be done and they communicate very well.

I am the Global Marketing Manager at tna solutions.

For what projects/services did your company hire AVY Design & Digital Experiences, and what were your goals?

We were holding numerous tradeshows across the world to launch three new products to the market. One was physical equipment, the others were of a virtual solutions. We required a breadth of branding and creative support.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I sourced three companies and had lengthy conversations with each. AVY Design & Digital were by far the best at providing concepts and ideas. I had also received positive feedback from others in the industry of AVY's work.

I was applying a completely new strategy, which was "less is more" and a more simple approach to the customer experience that we wanted to provide to those visiting our stands. The information and content also needed to be tailored by region and market. We discussed these with AVY at length.

The team at AVY's were always happy to have calls with my stakeholders at various time zones and were able to tailor their branding and creative ideas to fit the market, communications and the stakeholders needs - and continue to apply to new positioning approach and strategy. They really wanted to get into the depth of our equipment, the customer, the buyer and the culture within the region. That helped in them delivering the brief on point.

I was fortunate to work with the Director and he was not only available, but approachable at all times.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Efficiency and creativity were the two key things that stood out for me. A creative approach, delivered with efficiency. AVY also project led the tradeshows - managing the process from coordinating requirements, local suppliers and liaising with event organisers directly on the branding requirements. All delivery was ahead of deadlines.

The team are very adaptable and approachable. I was able to have spontaneous meetings as they worked around me very well. They were also flexible to ensure any of my stakeholder calls out of office hours were achievable. They exceeded all deadlines, delivering ahead of time - and allowing for ample contingency planning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ability to understand our complex solutions and equipment so very quickly. Conducting their own in-depth research - so they were armed with the right questions and viewpoints during the project development. Asking the right questions and making such impromptu creative suggestions. Providing solutions were there quality of our raw files and images were poor.

I am a self employed Content Writer and User Researcher. I work under the company name RKR Content Creation. I provide written copy and audience research projects for all types of organisations and businesses. Project vary from writing websites, proof reading, and social media posts.

RKR Content Creation has been upgraded by Avy Design, in terms of quality of logo, image and branding. Avy captured my values and ideas and since my rebranding I have become more confident and established as a professional copywriter

We needed help to adjust the landing page for our website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AVY Design provided a new WordPress site, including the design, content, and the publishing of the webpage. They also redirected the landing page to the new website. We worked together to create the look, feel, and the functionality.

The project lasted from April–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Anecdotally, people who accessed the website found it very easy and simple to follow. In terms of metrics, we used Google Analytics to see the click-through rate (CTR) and it was high.

We communicated mainly through WhatsApp and phone calls. It was very easy to communicate with AVY Design; they managed the whole process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AVY Design was personalized and the service provided was tailored toward me as an individual.

There’s nothing AVY Design could improve on. The experience was very pleasant.

Any advice for potential customers?

I recommend being very specific about the brief and have good communication. If the brief is accurate and detailed, it would prevent a lot of time waste.

Consultancy services and design and print implementation required for an upcoming event. Quite a tight deadline however the AVY team were able to deliver a variety of solutions during this critical time

We contacted AVY as a consultant for a project in Germany. Quite an intense project which required him and his team to be hands on deck within such a short tight period of time. The AVY team provided us with great insights and expertise in the areas that we needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Every supplier played a key role in ensuring that the outcome of the exhibition was a success especially during a time where we have to pivot and be able to adapt during such a difficult time due to Covid. The printed materials that were produced by the team were received well and the digital versions were definitely a good asset to have especially for attendees that were not able to visit in person; and a contingency was needed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Just like any project, you work with suppliers that have a different approach or style of working. AVY were able to adapt according to our needs which certainly helps.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

AVY were able to quickly pick things and hit the ground running with limited support required. They went above and beyond which we found very impressive, as they saved us a lot of time and hassle. At first, we were sceptical about using a small overseas team, however, after the first interaction, I could clearly see that we had made the right decision. Small, yet their experience and overall quality speak volume.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None that we can think of. If they were located near us, I think we could have got them or found them alot sooner. Hopefully, AVY will have more of a presence here in Frankfurt/Germany. Look forward to a fruitful relationship.

Avy went through the original design options and discussed the possible options for my books, As I had commissioned him to design and complete layouts for 10 books, we started the project on trello: with all books laid out and completing each in turn. I uploaded the content, Avy ensured the images were of good enough quality, and arranged the text to all be formated the same between the 10 book series.
