Sanelo is a new company, roughly around 4 years old. As a new relocation company amongst competitors who had decades to their name, we needed to launch our social media platforms. Atomic Clock added us to the map with a Facebook, Instagram and TikTok account, creating both organic and paid posts. The Facebook advertising stretched across different countries, which were key focuses in the business. They managed the advertising, coming up with new ideas and creatives to inspire our audiences. 
Organic posting consisted of new ideas, covering TikTok and Instagram influencer videos as well as unique videos created by Atomic Clock inspiring customers to move to a certain country. These were well put together, included original audio and always stayed on brand. We've seen a steady increase in both organic and paid traffic, increasing our likes and follows across all social media accounts.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have seen an increase in followers and likes across all of our social media platforms. Our Meta advertising was definitely a work in progress, as this was a new account and brand. So, Atomic Clock was on hand to advise and change adverts quickly, to ensure they were a success. We saw a positive CPC and in turn CPA across all of our adverts.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Atomic Clock are super easy to work with, responded quickly and adapt to the companies needs seamlessly. They always offer their guidance where needed and instantly become an extra member of the team that you can turn to when you need help! Our audience was a learning curve and a particular advert wasn't bringing in the right leads for us, but Atomic Clock were quick to adapt and we have seen quality leads ever since.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to adapt and accept every challenge! Nothing was ever too much, they never complained or pushed back. If something wasn't working, they were dedicated to make it work and adjust the advert and/or post to ensure it was successful for you as a client.

No, the overall experience was really positive!

Social Acumen supported our re-launch of a local brand social media handle. Providing a detailed plan and approach to bring back consistent and engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. This would include recommendations about topics to post about, copy development and supporting creatives.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our aim was to bring consistency back to the social media handles, after some dormant activity during some changes. The project was a success because we demonstrated the importance of regular activity on the handles, to drive engagement and more exposure to followers.

The Social Acumen team were excellent at project management, always keeping to deadlines, providing a clean format for approvals of content and regular communication with us

I was impressed by Social Acumen's knowledge of the different social media platforms, what type of content they are favouring and how a social media strategy should be developed and executed in line with that.

It's always useful to look at the tone of voice and language used by the brand in order to align the content with a similar style, but this is something the team were able to adapt to quickly.

I’m a director at an online wine retail company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Social Acumen?

We hired them for digital marketing, predominantly paid social media, and also paid search and creative.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we provided Social Acumen with a brief to professionalize our social media. They gave us information on what they thought was best at every stage, allowing us to make decisions and approve what they did. The team created most of the ad copy with occasional amendments from us, and they managed the ads. Sometimes, we sent them creative assets, and they also came up with some assets themselves.

What is the team composition?

Sam (Founder) was our main point of contact, and we worked with two other people.

How did you come to work with Social Acumen?

They were referred to us by another startup. Social Acumen was also relatively active on LinkedIn, and we had engaged with them, so I was aware of them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent £10,000–£15,000 (approximately $12,000–$18,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from January–September 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Social Acumen was very professional and clearly had experience. They were flexible regarding assets and proactive in asking for what they needed. Overall we were really happy with them. 

The results were generally positive even though they were battling against a changed atmosphere with things opening up after lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the tough times, we saw improved metrics like cost per click (CPC) and click-through rate. Although our needs changed and we went in a different direction, we’re still in touch with Sam and may work with Social Acumen again in the future.

How did Social Acumen perform from a project management standpoint?

They always met deadlines and stayed within the budget. The team was really clear in their communication through video calls and phone calls. We used Google Workspace to share documents and spreadsheets. Social Acumen presented what was coming up in terms of scheduling, and we had no problems with back-and-forth communication on creatives and reporting on KPIs. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with Social Acumen’s personalized service and high professional standards. They were super easy to work with and delivered good quality of output. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there was nothing they needed to improve.
