Hired to help review the codebase and provide a report with what improvements could be made to make the application more robust and scalable as well as catch and potential issues before deploying to a production system for the first time. The application is built around the Rails Event Store which they built and manage so their feedback was invaluable.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Arkency facilitated our event storming discussions and worked on four separate projects:
1. Read model processing optimizations: Arkency improved our read model implementation to allow asynchronous and synchronous processing, which improved performance and usability.
2. Security review: The team reviewed our stack and performed Rails and Ruby upgrades.
3. Demonstrable version implementation: Arkency implemented a demonstrable version of a critical business process and integrated it into our new UI.
4. System Migration Proof of Concept: Arkency recomended and helped implement a proof of concept system migration strategy that we were able to roll out to other features and continuously deliver value to users.
