Development for the front-end of a mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MobyteLab Solution engineered the front-end of our mobile application by natively developing for both iOS and Android.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Binh (CEO), a project manager, one iOS engineer, and one Android engineer.

How did you come to work with MobyteLab Solution?

They were referred to us by a friend who had worked with them in the past. After extensive due diligence, we decided to work with them because they were the most knowledgeable and cost-effective developers we engaged with.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $25,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The Mobytelab team is very knowledgeable, easily understands our needs, is able to help identify and creatively solve any technological challenges, is open to communication, and is fast at implementation. They were able to deliver a working app within the aggressive timelines we agreed upon.

How did MobyteLab Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They are amazing. Our project manager helped us keep on track and clearly communicated timeframes, expectations, and project flows between us and the engineers. We have weekly scrum meetings over Zoom, are in constant communication through Slack, and utilized JIRA to manage our tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their deep knowledge in building mobile applications. Their ability to understand our vision and to help brainstorm creative solutions. Their English, especially written communication. Their hustle. Ultimately, we had so much fun building, collaborating, and working on the app with the Mobytelab team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As English is not their primary language, verbal communication took a second longer at times, but it wasn't anything we couldn't overcome.

Any advice for potential customers?

In our specific experience, even though we had our own backend engineers and UI/UX designers, Mobytelab was able to work quickly and efficiently with our team to develop our frontend. I am confident Mobytelab can do the same for you.

I am the head of Technology of Madlogic with our Head Quarter in Eindhoven, the Netherlands

For what projects/services did your company hire MobyteLab Solution, and what were your goals?

We have developed a Motivation Measurement tool which we would want to be developed into a mobile app. The users would be using a mobile app or a website to measure their motivation score. The Animo system calculates their motivation profile and generates a comprehensive report which allows the user to act upon their motivation profile.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have selected MobyteLab as we've had done multiple IT projects with them before. All of which were done with great satisfaction. The price, quality and speed of MobyteLab is great. But most important aspect is that MobyteLab acts as a partner and really wants to help you succeed. MobyteLab goes the extra mile!

We were looking for FTE to execute on the development work.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have hired 2 FTE's which did the frontend and backend developement. We've used React as our main techstack.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was delivered on time which allows us to continue selling our product to our clients. To date, the tool is being used by multiple change management projects within both SME as Enterprises.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

I've requested 2 FTE which will fall under our own project management. We use Agile SCRUM. This means we do (virtual) daily standups and have sprints of 2 weeks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

MobyteLab Solution has great developers with the right mentality. Their Developers don't just 'execute' but they also provide you with solutions and suggestions to improve your product based on the developers exerpertise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Improving a bit on speaking English. Just a bit more confident on speaking would just be sufficient! It seems as if the developers are a bit scared of speaking English while they have a good level of vocabulary. But then again, they make it up with their enthousiasm!
