They conducted an initial audit which took about a week. Their product development lead made decisions about which areas to improve first. We met weekly, and we'd discuss various hypotheses that they had come up with. If there were changes that had been put into production, we'd also discuss the results of these changes.

Extremely pleased. My mobile app has vastly improved across the board. I'm very happy with all the hypotheses they came up with.

Very effective. They invited me to their Slack team and created a channel just for my project. After each weekly sync, they'd write a follow up message where we could discuss any further thoughts.

Their UI/UX suggestions were top-notch. I'm already seeing higher quality reviews and higher revenue.

Not really. I was extremely satisfied.

Applica helped to prepare design & product for launch. During testing stage Applica performed 2 launch:

1. Retention&Engagement launch on Tier 4;
2. Monetisation launch on Tier 1,
3. After collecting data, Applica team helped to analyse results and provided instructions for tech team.
4. The last step - launch on the main geo, where Applica collected quality data through paid marketing (Facebook) and tested winning ad banners. Final report enabled us to find our bottlenecks and improve the product.

Everything was fine. We interacted through Slack. All tasks were accepted immediately and passed on to the work

Human Resource. I was impressed with the Applica team's systematic approach and professionalism.

It was fine, but maybe I wish my contractor would have collected all the service accesses himself, registered to my emails, and passed them on to me. But it's not that important, we were great as it was) Well done guys!

"Applica's ideas helped us improve our install to free-trial ratio from ~10% to ~15% over the course of our short time working with them, which resulted in a 50% improvement to our user LTV, which enabled us to scale marketing spend and growth."

Applica was timely with their recommendations, and had a fresh batch of ideas for us every week. They presented their ideas cleanly in presentation format. They were also easy to reach over Slack as well if needed.

Their ability to deliver insights from our competitors and others in the space was amazing. We now have a large list of potential ideas to improve our product, probably enough to last us for the next six months in terms of development work.

Nothing on Applica's end. I only wish we had more software development bandwidth on our end to incorporate more of their ideas.

We had prepared a prototype of our app and needed help to review and fix the product & design side. Also, after release, we needed help with paid marketing launch and product assistance. We hired Applica Agency so that they can provide us with product&marketing support. Our goal was to optimize on the product side and, achieve benchmarks + become profitable after finding the best market fit.

We searched on Linkedin and in our network for Product managers with an experience in Health&Fitness, Meditation niche. We came to Applica representatives whose skills fit our needs.

Their team is data-driven and organized which helps to understand quickly what needs to be fixed and optimized. They use a couple of frameworks to analyze the product and give a precise task for our developers or some other teams.

They’ve suggested main changes that will help to increase ARPU/LTV and covered the ideas backlog for us, so the only thing we needed is to develop and implement changes with our CTO. We had weekly syncs to discuss results and plans for the next run.

We work directly with the Product growth manager and Senior Designer. Also, there’s a Marketing Team. Each team covers our product separately, so there’s always an expert we can talk to + a project manager overall.

We reached positive ROI 3 months after launch. Since then we keep scaling our Marketing. On the product side, we conducted more than 20 A/B tests and developed/designed four new features suggested by Applica. We’ve seen:

- Trial Conversion improvement over four months;

- Activation improvement over 2 months;

- Retention improvement over 1 month.

Communication was easy; over Slack, we used a limited number of tools managed by Applica (MMP, RevenueCat, etc.)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They kept things simple in terms of communication. They provide only valuable data, so it saves lots of time figuring out the exact process or result. Also, I liked that only people who worked only on relevant projects were assigned, + some of them worked in Senior roles (Product and Desing).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It took a while for them to start creative production and save our time. Eventually, they covered this part as well, so we could scale more aggressively.
