Perfume Price is a wholesale supplier for fragrances, name,  brand, and private label. We work strictly with B2B companies. I’m the systems admin as well as IT support and web and any other related work.

What challenge were you trying to address with Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers?

We were not satisfied with our previous partner’s work. They were too busy to give us any time or attention and every time we followed up, they got back to us after 1–2 weeks to respond to our questions or concerns. 

As a result, we started contacting companies, and one of the firms we reached out to initially was Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers. We engaged with them in creating a special form for us using NetSuite SuiteCommerce. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first project involves developing a special form for our B2B clients in order to enable them to order faster from our website as compared to other e-commerce sites where you just keep on adding to your cart and looking at the next item.

With our system, we asked the team to develop a custom page view where everything is in a row, similar to an Excel spreadsheet where you can just list down as many items as you want and include their quantity as well. After that, our stakeholders can get quotes from their order. We used JavaScript, NetSuite, SuiteScript and some SQL databases for the first project.

Currently, we have another small project involving a special registration form that we can also offer to our clients . It’s approximately a 30–40-hour job. 

What is the team composition?

We are working with Caleb (NetSuite Developer & Account Manager) and we’ve also been introduced to two other individuals who are developers. We also collaborate with project coordinators. 

How did you come to work with Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers?

We had a difficult time with our previous vendor and we knew that we had to find another company that was capable of meeting our needs. I spoke with about 5–6 different partners but one of my co-workers found Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers. In the end, we were convinced that they were the best fit for our project after speaking with them.

I was brought on to help manage them and help the project progress. I came on board once they signed the contract with us. 

How much have you invested with them?

Since we’ve kicked off, we’ve spent $15,000–$20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed the contract in September 2020 and we continue to hire them on an ongoing basis.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For their first development, they built a nice platform for us. They were able to follow our vision. Not a lot of people really specialize or deep dive into one specific area and that’s part of their strengths. Some companies are good with multiple platforms such as Magento, Drupal, and more. However, our project is so specific to NetSuite and we appreciate that they are experienced in what we need from them. 

Furthermore, they always give incredible insights and don’t blindly follow our approach. They give us varied options on how we can get the functionalities we want based on our budget. 

How did Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers perform from a project management standpoint?

From their side, their project management is great. The usual problem is on our side, so we tend to go back and forth a lot. It’s good they can keep with us. They’re also very responsive. Moreover, they always find ways to make our project more cost-effective. Above all, they are able to reach all of their deadlines. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like that they stay in touch. They also respond to my emails and they get back to me in the same day. Additionally, they added me in their Slack group so I can direct message them if I have a question or any concern and they get back to me right away, usually within 10–15 minutes. I also think they’re pretty good all around and they have our best interests in mind. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think they have any areas they could improve on. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If they already discovered Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers, they’re already in good hands. Don’t second guess, don’t doubt, and just hire them. I’ve worked with a few development companies and web firms, for some of them the price decides how much they’re going to build and how much they’re going to bring in. 

The great thing is Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers don’t give me that feeling. Instead, they make me feel like I’m in safe hands. I’m more excited working with them than anybody else.

Our website was outdated and we had the pleasure of working with Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants and Developers to walk us through all of our needs to upgrade, implement a new user-friendly interface for the website, and answered any questions or issues we had on the way.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have a user-friendly website that offers the new features from the Aconcagua NetSuite update in order to be relevant and up to date.

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed a few vendors and looked at pricing, quality, and timeline. After speaking with Anchor Group, they were great listeners and wanted to fully understand our needs while making recommendations that were useful to us. They delivered on time and communicated very well throughout the process.

They designed, developed, and configured our requirements needed to upgrade our system, design accordingly to our guidelines, and tested to make sure glitches were fixed promptly.

What was the team composition?

I spoke with 2 people throughout this project. One was my main point of contact and one was available as I needed any technical support or had questions that were beyond the original scope of work.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Their work had a huge impact on our day to day sales. Our website is the hub to our sales and what makes our business. Without a functional, user-friendly website with all the upgraded functions, we wouldn't be maximizing our efforts with our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their project management was very precise and organized. They started with a kickoff call and schedule regular follow up calls during each milestone. Additional calls were made if there were any questions or clarity needed before hours are spent on something. This was especially helpful to us to budget accordingly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their communication, understanding, and willingness to learn our needs and implement them was most impressive. It is common for clients like us to be concerned and ask a lot of questions but Anchor Group was professional, patient, and listened through our needs each step of the way. The prices were fair.

Are there any areas for improvement?

My only suggestion is to continue helping others and creating courses so that more people can learn about the ins and outs of Netsuite.
