I am a designer and office manager at a construction company. We service homeowners through their remodeling projects and gain most of our leads online.

For what projects/services did your company hire Advanté-BCS, and what were your goals?

Upon looking into our older website provider, we noticed their cost to service ratio was outrageous. We looked for a local company and BCS was one that was suggested to us from one of their competitors. Our old website was manually made and we needed to have it transferred to a WordPress site for easier editing capabilities. Along side this we wanted to have our social medias back up and running.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Upon getting a great quote directly from the owner, we realized that working locally with BCS was a no brainer.

Transferring from an older provider to a new one was very stressful for us. We did not want to have any downtime as to lose any potential customers. We set up cancelation dates with the older provide 2 months from signing the BCS contract and the new website was ready and approved in under a month, blowing away our expectations. Throughout all this we gave access to our socials and they started drafting up post for us to approve.

We worked directly with a project manager who oversaw everything. Given we know nothing about web development and asked many questions, his patience through the process was unmatched. Alongside him, we had a personal social media manager that helped us with account access on all aspects.

The site launch was flawless and we are already seeing our socials getting engagement again.

With a project manager that communicated our questions and concerns with the development team, it made feedback super easy. We probably emailed him a couple times a day with questions and he always responded quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really enjoy their client portal. We worked with a multi-million dollar company before, and their tools were not as available to us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had no clue how to use WordPress, and there are some items on the website that can be hard to edit. All the questions asked about editing were quickly answered.

With over 35 years of applied experience, Tech Imaging Services combines its vast imagery knowledge with today's most advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art high-speed cameras, hyperspectral cameras, and infrared camera products for a wide variety of problem-solving engineering tools.

Throughout the years, Tech Imaging Services has been the leading United States distributor of high-tech imagery instrumentation, and has represented several camera manufacturers including Eastman Kodak, Redlake, NAC, AOS Technologies, Photron, Shimadzu, and InfraTec. I am part owner of Tech Imgaging. 3-time Emmy award winning provider of TV and Broadcast Services over a 20 year span.

For what projects/services did your company hire Advanté-BCS?

Needed to move from our current hosting provider and website consulting company. Found Advante-BCS and that provided hosting and worked with Joomla.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Did some web searching online for Joomla administration and website hosting. Found Advante-BCS in the Joomla recommended partners on their website. Did some searching on the history and that BCS has been doing website hosting and care for a very long time. Comments and customers on the webpage showing current work looked professional and well maintained.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Needed to move from our current hosting provider and website consulting company. After examining our current website, Advante-BCS provided hosting options, general maintenance plans, and also digital marketing options. After a few meetings to come up with a customs plan that suited our small business, we felt that Advante-BCS was a great option for our company.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Frank , Founder of Advanté-BCS, gave a detailed history and background of the company to ensure our concerns of finding the correct replacement for our needs. After a few days of inspection of our site, a very detailed plan of services and price options were given. Once we selected out plan, Rizwan-Project Manager, spearheaded a seamless transition from our current host to the BCS servers.

During that time, he coordinated with his team to upgrade our site version, component upgrades, do much needed upgrades, and troubleshoot any issues. Project was estimated to take 20 days, was completed in 12. Sophia, Executive Administrator, got us all set up in payments and customer access panel that was simple and painless.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We change hosting and did updates in a two week window. New site seems to be running/ loading faster than the previous host. Knowing that all support tickets submitted during the process we answered in fixed in less than 24 hours. Going forward with Advante-BCS as hour host and provider, the partnership of a business we can rely on and know we are in good hands.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Every question was answered or completed within 24 hours. During the migration process, I was in communication well beyond normal workplace hours. They understood the best time to make these changes are when our customers or potential customers would not be using our site. Even close to midnight, they work to make the changes that were needed and I was more than welcome to work that late knowing a service provider was going above and beyond the expectations we expected.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood I knew some parts of how the website worked and what my capabilities were. When certain administration functions were beyond my capabilities, BCS employees were able to explain and navigate how things were done in a way I was able to understand. Most companies would not explain how it was done and just do it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish there was something to write for this question, but am left with nothing but a blank. Advanté-BCS has done everything we expected.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had know Frank since our collaboration in the early 2000's in the ACH processing business. At that time we were both building our sites while running our businesses. We had always shared knowledge in the past.

We both sold parts of or businesses and continued with other parts. Frank had always built great sites and when the time came to upgrade our sites he did a great job. When it was time to add the eCommerce end to our business there was not any reason to look any further. I also did not have time to learn WordPress.

The first project was to upgrade all of our Joomla sites to get the security they needed. In 2017 I wanted the eCommerce end to complete our other businesses. This was a ground up build with shopping cart and Frank was the one to do it.

BCS built the templates for me to choose from and got the one up I liked. From there we had many tweaks to fine tune everything even though we were 99% happy from the start. Everything was done in a timely manner without any delays.

The eCommerce website for that part of the business has grown over the last few years and now is worth more than the original business. With their management of Google AdWords they got us up and running with allot of business

I would have a hard time evaluating their management style since everything wen to smoothly. Mostly communicated via email but sometimes it was necessary to have phone conversations. Nothing ever came in late and they never had to make an excuse.

Their communicative approach is impeccable!

I’m the director of results for the Business Owners Institute. I’m a strategic business coach, and we help small businesses become bigger while having a life. We have two divisions in the company. First, we work with associations to help them maximize their membership, and then we have a consulting side to help small businesses grow. When we started this company 17 years ago, it was just one of my colleagues and me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with Advanté-BCS by developing our first website, which led to the one we have today. As we’ve evolved, we’ve needed a new logo, and their team has put together various materials, such as brochures and sales presentation folders. They’ve done extensive research; Advanté-BCS has asked us essential questions that have made us think about who we serve, how we serve them, and how we’d reach them.

They do landing pages where we put our events. We want people to register on our website, and we can make minor changes. Additionally, we create content as a team effort, and they’ve put together a list of keywords for Google Ads.

What is the team composition?

Over the years, we’ve worked with at least 7–8 people, including Frank (Founder), Rizwan (Project Manager), Sophia (Executive Administrator), and Condé (Graphic Designer). We have two other people on the website team and a third on the Google Ads team.

How did you come to work with Advanté-BCS?

I used to run an organization that set up chapters throughout the world. I was the franchise owner for two of them in central Virginia, where Frank was a member. At the moment, my website person moved to bigger projects, and it was time for a website refresh.

I bumped into Frank, and my colleague and I sat down with him. He offered to help us build our brand and website. He saw where we were headed in the future and wanted to be a part of our success. We liked his approach, and he was professional and honest. His authenticity did it for us, so we gave him the contract.

We’ve spent around $25,000–$30,000.

We started working together in June 2014, and our partnership is ongoing. They continue to deliver exceptional quality in their service.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their team has been able to create the look and feel we were looking for. They’ve made us look like the national brand that we are. As a national speaker and coach, many speakers out there don’t make it, but I’ve had several compliments on how beautiful the website is. Also, I think we get more speaking engagements and consulting jobs thanks to our professional-looking site. In general, people love the brand and its look and feel.

Also, we’ve had zero issues with the site, which is pretty impressive.

How did Advanté-BCS perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. We didn’t know when the project would be done with our previous web person, which made us anxious. With Advanté-BCS, everything is delivered within scope and timeframe. We typically communicate through their support system, and they respond quickly to our requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is great at what they do, and they know their business pretty well. They tend to be spot-on with the look and feel, which is vital for us. Also, they have experts in different areas, so the quality of the team is impressive. Moreover, there are big companies that won’t give you this kind of customer service.

No, there isn’t anything.

We hired Advanté-BCS to design a website for us. I worked closely with Rizwan (Project Manager) for a couple of months to design the site precisely the way we wanted it. They’re also in charge of maintaining the site and running security checks on a monthly basis.

Advanté-BCS performed really well in terms of project management. We typically communicated through phone calls and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with Advanté-BCS’s responsiveness and quick turnaround time. They were also proactive in asking for feedback, changes, or additions to the site’s design, and the speed of their response time in terms of customer support was shockingly fast. They usually responded within 10-15 whenever I submitted a support ticket, no matter how small or big the issue was.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they could have done better. The value that we got for what it cost was outstanding, and their support team was just phenomenal.
