• Enhance the property data management system by migrating the database to include property-related tables and developing SQL classes for data calculations, table mapping, and exporting.
• Improve the user interface with a side menu for navigating property data, a viewer for interacting with tables, and updates to the asset view page. Integrate new endpoints for displaying, exporting, and importing property data via an Excel add-in.
• Streamline architecture to reduce technical debt by organizing calculations into asset-specific calculators and enabling seamless data management across the database, backend, API, and GUI.

Our  B2C fitness app has been installed and used by over 800,000 people around the world.  We have done 2M 3D body scans.

Abto helped us to create CICD and MLOps pipelines. The CICD pipelines build and integrate our Unity project with a React Native mobile app, which is a complex architecture to automate. They have also built a scalable Docker environment for our backend services and machine learning pipelines. Lastly, they created internal tools for us to monitor and perform QC on our ML models.

We have successfully deployed much of Abto's work to production and have reduced significantly our costs related to maintenance or support issues.

ABTO took Size Stream's 3D avatar creation tool and utilized it to extract specific body topographies and estimated surface pressures. The data was then run through an algorithm to suggest a level of support and surface comfort for an individual OR a blended recommendation for two people.

The team was able to not only give me exactly what I wanted, they were able to fine tune and make aesthetic suggestions that made the product better than I could have imagined on my own.

I immediately felt like the team that was assembled was exactly what I needed. Roman is a very careful listener and able to sense nuance from my suggestions in extracting the data... he quickly picked up on what I was trying to accomplish... and simplified it without taking anything away from the outcome desired. 
Volodymr has been a great point person for communication and future planning - Alina is a savvy application architect and new how to keep my app fresh and easy to use... and Viktoriia is a great focusing project manager - always having the big picture in sight, while listening carefully to plan for our future refinements. When I meet with my potential clients, I tell them I have a TEAM.... and I mean it!

No. It's a great group of professionals that love what they do... and while they probably know everything? They don't act like. I'm not a technical person and they made me feel very comfortable working and creating with them without making me feel inferior.

How did Abto Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Abto Software’s communications are fantastic; they’re very responsive, and the collaboration between the two teams is great. We communicate using multiple channels and never experience any communication issues. 

Despite the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, Abto Software has delivered everything according to the originally established deadlines; they’re always on time.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Their flexibility, quality, timeliness, and creative approach to the tasks are impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Abto Software’s entire team doesn’t have experience in our business area, which has impacted the project and its cost. Also, more testing could be done.

Abto Software is based in Ukraine but has a legal presence in the EU and the US, so potential clients can generate legal arrangements in both regions.

Abto Software has provided technical resources to fulfill our end clients’ requirements. They’ve assisted us with the technical skills that are lacking in our company or when we don’t have enough staff available to work on a particular project. For instance,  Abto Software is currently working on four active projects; one of them requires Python developers, and we don’t have many specialists in our company. 

Moreover, Abto Software has helped us develop mobile and web applications. Some of them were already created and required an update. For other apps, Abto Software has developed from scratch, and a system architect helps us decide which technology to use. They’ve assisted us with system admin and DevOps. 

Abto Software has also assisted us in moving apps from on-premises architecture to the cloud and setting up and managing cloud environments. Abto Software manages the resources where our apps are deployed, and we’ve used Microsoft Azure and AWS.

We started working with Abto Software in March 2019, and our partnership is ongoing. I had just recently visited their offices.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Two of the end clients Abto Software is currently working with are really happy with their work. We constantly ask our end clients if there’s anything to improve, and they’ve never come up with an issue.

On IT projects, there are always unexpected issues, but we’re able to resolve them in a timely manner thanks to the long and personal relationship we’ve established with Abto Software. They help us keep our end clients satisfied.

How did Abto Software perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate with Abto Software through Skype, and I also visit them occasionally. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Abto Software’s work quality. They’re performing at their highest level in the time I’ve known them — they’re hitting the ball out of the park. I notice that Abto Software has grown as an organization, and I like to think this is partly due to working with us as well. Lastly, Abto Software’s upper management team is excellent, and their involvement makes a huge difference.

We hired Abto’s team to help us in distribution of financial services and products for small businesses in the DACH region. They were actively involved and helped us automate the sales’ process using a custom web solution and integration with the Salesforce CPQ. Also, their engineers worked on 3rd party e-signature integration for signing contracts online.

Abto Software was highly recommended to us by one of our clients. They had a solid experience in software development and payment automation. Also, their team had the needed technical skills and capacity to stick to our deadlines.

The implemented sales system simplified sales processes in our partner’s two branch companies acquired and joined to the head company recently. The Abto Software team was responsible for the creation of a UI based web solution for end consumers and integration with Salesforce. Plus, based on the business analysis, their representatives pointed out that earlier gathered requirements didn’t include the opinions of each and every stakeholder.

That is why Abto initiated new interviews and, as a result, identified several problems that we haven’t seen earlier. Afterwards, they came up with the suitable solution. Technologies used in the project were: .NET, .NET Core, AngularJS.

Thanks to Abto Software we were able to simplify and automate the whole process of B2B’ sales of the financial services for small businesses. Additionally, the team was really proactive and could identify technology and business nuances we couldn’t notice. They made everything from their side to deliver the best outcomes in the project.

I’m the co-founder and CEO of Blinktbi, Inc. We make an FDA-approved medical device to test for various central nervous system diseases and concussions.

What challenge were you trying to address with Abto Software?

We created a neural network to analyze the eyes and hired Abto Software to help develop the software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everything Abto Software did was from scratch; the first project we had them work on was an AI neural network. The way the device works is that a camera takes a picture and then finds the eyelids; Abto Software helped to develop the neural network. 

The next project we had them working on was based on facial recognition software and looking at the eyes to see if the user was the same person. After that, they built two different mobile applications for us that worked with our medical device. The iOS and Android apps allow users to choose a patient and all their information, which gets sent to our medical device to produce the photos and perform the test. 

We also had them working on a few R&D projects that we didn’t know how to move forward with. They not only worked with us, they ended up creating the work and will be included in a few of our patents. They took care of all maintenance on the projects.

The first person we spoke to was Yuriy (Chief Sales & Marketing Officer & Co-Owner); beyond that, we worked with the head of each group, software engineers, and other project managers and developers.

We found them with a Google search; we chose them because they were the most responsive of all the companies we were talking to. We felt like Abto Software understood what we needed and thought they would work well with us.

We worked together between November 2020–August 2022. We plan on working with them again in the near future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The goal with our neural network was to ensure that the data from our device was correct; Abto Software hit that with our developers very quickly. We would set milestones for other projects like software development and mobile applications, and they would hit them. 

We started with only one project, but we were so happy with their work that we decided to expand that to a much larger scope. 

How did Abto Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was some of the strongest we’ve ever worked with. The engagement was entirely virtual, and we communicated via email and Zoom. We had an excellent working cadence where we would test everything and send them notes, and they would work on that overnight and give it back to us the next day. They always hit deadlines, and very often, they exceeded them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood our needs, and even if we didn’t know what we were looking for, they would help us clarify and figure it out. We would give ideas, and they translated them to their engineers effectively. They were able to turn those ideas into something tangible that we could use. 

They also did a great job choosing the right people for each project we worked on.

Various technologies are used in the project: Java, .NET 4.8, .NET 6, Scala, Node.js, Vue.js, Postgres, MySQL which makes it complicated.

We have a centralized command center that consumes data from workers that are on-site at client locations. The command center analyzes the data and determines how to disseminate the information. Our company identified the manner in which information was coming in, being processed, and going out was antiquated and manual. We challenged Abto Software to assist us in developing a custom application to deliver gains in worker efficiency, data accuracy, and process adherence.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When i joined the company the project was over timeline and budget significantly. Based on discussions with the existing team there was no salvaging the relationship with the existing development partner. As a result, an RFP was conducted across 5+ firms and 4+ regions of the world. Ultimately we chose Abto due to a history of success working with development partners in E. Europe, competitive pricing, company size, and presentation.

After evaluating the existing code base the team worked diligently to rewrite the application which utilizes python and vue jest framework. We were able to quickly get the application live and then re-write the bulk of the code. After stabilizing the product the team has been pumping out enhancements and developing new modules to support other lines of the business.

Over the course of the relationship, the team size has changed as internal and external factors influenced it. For the bulk of the project, the team consisted of a scrum master, Technical Lead, 1 frontend developer, 1 backend developer, a full stack developer, and a QA resource.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The delivery of the custom app has transformed our organization into a data-driven operation. Worker satisfaction has increased, and worker efficiency has increased.

The project operates in an agile methodology with daily stand-ups and weekly high-level meetings. Jira, Confluence, and TEAMs are utilized for primary communication and organization.

The level of dedication is second to none. Everyone on the team takes the project personally and the speed of response is unreal. Also, the talent level is tremendous. Everyone that is consulted or brought into the project is a professional and expert in their field.
