Design and develop a talent a database for actors and casting directors, with unique logins for all users:

• Actor users are able to build out their profile and resume, including headshots and special skills.
• Casting directors are able to search for actors by criteria in their resumes, take notes that are stored in their profile, and organize actors using tags.
• Admin capabilities to manage all aspects of the site. Design and develop a Services Director for Actors. 
• Service Providers are able to submit an entry for the service directory.
• Site admin are able to approve or deny the entry. If denied, the service provider receives an email that their entry was denied and a reason. If approved, the service provider receives a confirmation email and the entry goes live in the directory.
• Actors are able to search for different services by service type (tags) and keywords.

The project was very well managed. The team was in constant communication with us and truly worked to understand the "why" of our product, making very apt recommendations for features in our build, some of which we had not considered. Sigma Solve delivered on time, every time (sometimes early), which made for a very smooth and dependable process.

They also strive to be timely in our responses and to meet deadlines. They strive to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency, but also with a focus on quality and accuracy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive and unique thing about SigmaSolve when they were developing my application was their responsiveness and dedication. They worked quickly and efficiently to ensure the application was completed on time and to the highest standards.

They provided regular updates and feedback, and they always listened to my ideas and suggestions. They also gave me detailed advice and guidance to help me understand the process and the best way to achieve my goals. Overall, they provided an excellent experience and delivered a great result.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were unhappy with over-priced, frustrating US-based developers. SigmaSolve was recommended as a preferred developer by our ecommerce all-in-one CMS.

We’ve been using SigmaSolve since 2016. Originally, we switched to SigmaSolve from an expensive, US-based web agency where we had a great PM but a bad-attitude 'no can do' development lead. Projects took forever and were always over-budget.

Since switching to SigmaSolve, we've likely saved $100k+ in development costs, while enjoying a productive relationship with responsive, highly capable SigmaSolve staff -- most of whom we've been working with one-on-one for years (low turn-over). Our relationship began with basic services like ecommerce website updates. They were one of the few firms versed in Shift4Shop (formerly 3dCart), our CMS.

SigmaSolve has saved-the-day on so many occasions when 3dCart support was unable or incapable of helping with serious errors and problems with two ecommerce websites. With SigmaSolve, I can send them drafts and mock-ups and they’ll generally have smaller changes made on our dev sites by next morning, and live within days. SigmaSolve has performed a huge amount of custom coding, design changes, templates and integrations on both of our sites.

When Sigma added Salesforce development services to the mix, we ended up switching to Sigma for Salesforce development, custom integrations, API installations, etc. Considering the large volume of work we give SigmaSolve, we have had relatively few problems over the years. The owners and staff are hard-working, accountable and always keep their clients best interests in mind.

Sigma Solve is a fast-growing, family-owned business. Leadership has always made sure we are well taken care of. They are happy to jump-in and help resolve the rare issue quickly and effectively. More recently, we have communicated directly with our project managers and developers. To get the most out of working with Sigma Solve, it is important to communicate your needs effectively.

Their programmers are primarily based in India. There may be some minor accent challenges for North American english speakers -- but I’ve found that if you are patient, kind, thoughtful and clear about your project goals, you'll build a great rapport and highly productive, cost-effective relationship with team Sigma.

My personal approach is to provide complete, detailed instructions, sketches, mock-ups, etc. directly into their CMS, always Cc’ing the PM, developer and (occasionally) owner on emails -- and meeting via phone or Zoom when necessary to clarify objectives and make sure projects run smoothly. If you can do this -- and be grateful -- you and your company will be very well-served by SigmaSolve.

Nice people. Humble and eager to exceed expectations. They were flexible, friendly, and able to handle almost any development challenge across a wide range of Saas. Please see above.

We have had very few issues with SigmaSolve. Occasionally, there are miscommunications, -- usually because we did not describe / map out project goals clearly enough. We only had one PM who was not a super communicator. After voicing our concerns to the principals, he was replaced quickly with someone who better understood our company and needs.

I started working together with Sigma Solve in early 2018 when I had a small Web Agency. My previous co-worker had known Sigma Solve before and we started working on App/Web Projects.

We created the mockups and screendesigns for our Apps and Web Solution and made a documentation of the features we want to have. After discussing the scope of work, Sigma Solve used their expertise in choosing the right technology and added their ideas on our planned functionality. During development phase we are in close contact and Sigma Solve always come up with ideas to make our planned product smoother.

There are two people who are the main point of contact. One is responsible for the financial and legal part and the other one is the project manager who leads the development team. We also have at least 3 to 4 developers, based on our product we are currently working on (App or Web).

As we are offering different Apps for B2C and B2B it is very important that everything works smoothly together and is easy to use for our customers. After the go-live of our first version, we had a great feedback from the market in terms of UI and UX.

Our communication is very simple and done via skype. We are in touch almost every day and our Project Manager and development team is available to talk/chat on every hour. The simple way of communicating with Sigma Solve saves us so much time and makes work easy. Timelines will be defined when the project/sprint is estimated. It is also no problem to have additional Change Requests during a development sprint.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their whole team is working very hard and has very good knowledge in everything they do. The reason that everyone is available for a quick chat at any time makes it so easy to work with them. It is always a pleasure talking to them as they are all super nice people and very passionate. The biggest point is that you can trust them in every way, because they really care about your project and most important they care about you.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not sure if they could have done anything differently - if so, then me and my co-workers might also should have done anything differently. When two or more companies are working on a project together, there is something on each side that could be improved but for this project there is nothing to point out.
