We hired Southwave to develop a webstore for a client. The task was very complex and involved in-depth customizaiton of a WooCommerce store bybassing many different templates involved in store creation. The store was course based and we required the date to organized and displayed in different manors. One task was the store was organized by categories requiring complex breadcrumbs. Also the store had various meta fields which were used to filter data into different tables. Courses were organized and single product pages had specific requirements. The single product page required heavy customization regarding the mutli select dropdown of the configurable product as well as the display of custom meta values.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Whatever our specific task required Southwave delivered. We needed heavy customization of every store page and it was so wonderful to have a need and have them say that they'd get right on it. I've asked other vendors for help and they said it was impossible. I never got that answer from Southwave. Things just simply worked and this very complicated store that seemed like it would be impossible to sort through wasn't. This was a giant task and being a coder I thought one that would require a giant team. Southwave and their point people were great during the whole process. The communication seemed very one-on-one personal. They really listen to you and offer solutions that you many have not even considered. They deliver things right the first time doing extenseive QA testing. This saves me time asking for revisions. I had a timeline and it was very reassuring that they updated me on their progress and delivered well before the deadline. I cannot say enough good things about this company. As a web developer myself I appreciate and understand the hardwork.

I look forward to hiring them again for more complex projects because they can deliver amazing results.

They delivered the project well before deadline updating me on different project milestones. They always kept me abreast about the timeline. They were very responsive if I had any questions or concerns.

The most impressive thing that I found was that no matter what task I gave them, they offered a solution. I compare this to other companies I've hired that have fallen short of this. Their solution was either what I wanted or an upgrade.

I really don't think there is anything I would have asked for differently from them. I just want to give them a glowing review here. Just class act through the whole process.

There aren’t many areas for improvement when it comes to Southwave. If anything, there were a few slight organizational mishaps along the way, but honestly, those were likely more on our end than theirs. Their ability to adapt and keep things moving smoothly in spite of those hiccups speaks volumes about their professionalism and resourcefulness.

The primary goal of this project was to create a custom CMS for managing our 30+ websites. The MVP involved a few basic deliverables:

1. a functioning admin panel in which we can manage pages, site settings, and the media library
2. a live version of the primary website (NYFTA) on the new CMS with full functionality and customizability

Beyond this, we had requested a few features such as site analytics and SEO capabilities which were all met within their allotted timeline.

• a functional admin panel where we can publish content to the websites on the new CMS with ease (completed)
• multi-site functionality allowing us to copy and create new websites on the same server directly from the CMS (completed)
• Analytics platform built into CMS for customer tracking and engagement metrics (in progress, delayed because of my changes and choices)

Southwave does an excellent job of communicating accurate timelines and estimates for work completed. All of our milestones were met on time aside from a few delays related to unexpected changes and/or issues with development. Southwave fully met our needs as a company throughout the entire process.

Southwave has a diverse team of experts that can specialize their workforce for whatever needs may arise. While developing the new CMS on vue.js, we also suddenly had a need for designers to create visual assets for the new websites. Southwave was able to provide this service at an excellent rate, and the team was better informed than a freelance designer because the team already knew our business style and goals.

Not that I can think of! They are truly an excellent team doing spectacular work.

Software development and website building is ridiculously hard to do. Meaning, finding people you trust to build exactly what you want while not overcharging you or delivering late is really, really hard. Before Southwave, I was burned many times. Not with them.
