They delivered excellent results consistently. When we gave a task to 2V, we were sure it was going to be accomplished, and in a timely fashion.

2V works with a manager, who you can provide tasks to, and they distribute it to the developers. However, due to my history with the company, I had the ability to speak with the owner from time to time if needed, or directly with the dev. But to not interrupt work flow, it was always best to communicate through the manager.

Organization, ease of communication, quality of developers on the team.

Our clients love the platform. We just launched and already partnered with 20 of the best businesses in our market across the US, UK and Australia. They created a great platform without bugs that worked really well and clients were absolutely crazy about it.

Overall the whole service from start to finish was amazing. The most impressive things for us were the customer service, the product they created in no time, and generally, they took off the stress from us and helped us create a really good saas business. It was the first time I create a SaaS company and as a non-technical founder, the process was straightforward.

There is a surprising amount of technical stuff going on in the background and we knew this going in so we needed a partner who had not just technical chops but who could take vague business requirements and translate them into sound and scalable technical solutions.

We found them on Upwork. We interviewed dozens of potential partners for this project but 2V stood out for their ability to rapidly synthesize what we were trying to do with the project and even come up with helpful ideas that we had not thought of on our own.

We hired 2V Modules to build a SaaS product that we'd been thinking about for a while. The idea was to sync data from multiple sources and drop it into a single system that merges data and syncs it to e-commerce stores.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our choice was based on recommendation from one of my friends who had great experience working with 2V Modules. And he was absolutely right. Another point was their experience in e-commerce integrations which seemed super relevant since we required multiple e-commerce plugins going forward. And obviously their focus on SaaS products was important.. they really knew the right approach to that type of projects.

Valerian and 2V Modules were super helpful from day 1. Although we as co-founders had a good understanding of the project field, we really did not think through a lot of technical stuff which 2V helped us to do. We started with a short kick-off call describing what we need and then shared additional information on the scope, competitors and most important features.

Starting from that point, Valerian and his team dived so deeply into our project as if they were the part of our own team. After gaining requirements they've built a product flowchart in Figma and a document with project specifications - these two were used to defined what we actually needed for the MVP and show us the whole user flow.

From that point the UI/UX and dev teams started to work based on sprints and provide regular updates. There were a few changes that we haven't thought through but they were quickly documented and added to the later sprints. Finally, we got the project alongside with documentation and SLA support agreement which have use until this moment.

We worked with Valerian himself at the beginning and then we had 1 Business analysts, 1 UI designer, 1 PM and 2 developers and 1 QA engineer working on the project, so in total it was 6 people.

We launched the MVP of our SaaS from scratch in 4 months and successfully served our first clients. Later on, we developed and implemented additional features.

The team is using Slack and ClickUp so there's absolute clarity on the status of tasks and other stuff. All communication was handled by PM, she provided regular weekly status reports and timeline updates.

At every point of the project we were absolutely aware of the status and it actually made the cooperation very smooth. Also it's obvious that they worked on many SaaS projects before so every step was predictable and they told us what's going to be the next stage, everything was clearly outlined from the beginning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There were two things that really impressed me and my partners:

1. Level of engagement. As a founder you don't really expect that someone will know your product as good as you do, but 2V team thought about so many details, brought up so many right questions and helped us not only to build what we want, but to build what was really the best.. That is impressive and something that totally exceeded our expectations
2. The quality and speed. We really loved how they work from specs to UI and development - all people were professional, there were no overpriced junior developers. The result we got was totally worth every cent that we paid.

The team is quite small and when we first came to them they were booked ahead for a month. So we had to wait a bit. Would be good if they scale and will be able to take more projects while keeping the quality and approach on the same level.

The project was defined to build 5 plugins 2 in Magento 1 for Prestashop, 1 for WordPress and 1 for WHMCS. The project started by providing the API details to their team, in no more than 2 weeks we had the first delivery for WordPress. in 1 week later we had deliveries for WHMCS and Prestashop and Magento took a little more time than expected but it's based on the level of complexity that Magento has. The plugins are built in PHP and Javascript

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our beta testers are right now improving the results of the tests and also the code was made using good practices that one of our UI/UX was able to get and make some improvements. The goal was met!

Some of their developers don't speak English, this is not an impediment but it should improve a lot if a bigger project came where developers need to be involved.
